Nastiest and most run down hotel I've ever experience. Floors are so dirty I had throw my socks away. Put towels down all over the floors to keep from tracking filth into the bed. Mirrors all marked up, patches all over the walls, base molding falling off. Tub is so nasty and greasy I nearly slipped. Had to check out and go to a truck stop to get another shower. Disgusting. Do not recommend. I had to give 1 star to leave a review but should be a -10. Reaks of Pine Sol and insence, will surely gag you. TV is so dark and old you can't even watch it. read more

The good: The room was clean and quiet. The desk clerk was friendly- in fact, I forgot an article of clothing and they held it for me until we returned the next week. The floors are not carpeted, which I liked. It seems cleaner. I think this is intended to be pet-friendly. The not as good: There are no elevators but it was only one floor and my son carried my bag upstairs. There were some scratches outside the tub and there was what looked like mortar spattered on the wall. The mortar job was subpar. I could have done it better. The shower curtain was a little dingy at the bottom. The handle fell off the tub, but it did work. The hair dryer fell off the wall when I tried to remove it from the holder. It didn't work. The highly annoying: Beds are enclosed underneath by sheet metal, which clangs when your shoe taps it. read more

This Inn was so disappointing. We saw many great reviews but we're starting to wonder if these 5 star are real... The staff was very nice and understanding and did give us our money back. When walking into the rooms they have a smelly odor ( we were in 2 rooms) . There was hair pieces and you could tell the rooms were not properly cleaned. The worse part....the roaches. There were dead ones on the bed, bathroom, fridge and all over the floor. I would definitely not recommend this place, but wanted to give two stars just because the staff was great. read more

I don't even know where to begin. The non-smoking room had a musty odor. A true 1-star motel. All other hotels in the area were booked out and it was late. I had to endure this experience, but it made me appreciate of other hotels I thought were not up-to par. Would not recommend, unless you have not other choice. read more

Stayed here did not appreciate owners walking back and forth, while myself and visitors are sitting outside. Before leaving the area i would dispose any garbage. And place chairs back to where they were sitting in the area for guest. Also one of the employees approach some patrons about sitting in area. This was very much feeling of harassment. As paying Patons you should not feel like you are being checked on like children. Will share this with people who travel a lot to this town. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because I've seen worse (unfortunately). The outside looked run down - needs paint. Pool looked like it had been closed for months (COVID??). The upholstered chair in our room was very dirty. Reminded me of the easy chair in the back of my buddy's automotive garage - it has a nice coat of dirt/grease. The bed was okay. The shower was a bit dirty with cigarette burns on the tub. The ironing board was stained. The frig still had leftover food in it from previous guests. Nice granite counter top around the bathroom sink though. The room was a little high priced at $75. Would have stayed elsewhere, but they were sold out. I just needed a quick place to sleep and run, so it was good enough. Live and learn. I won't be back. On a positive note, the little young lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly. And the breakfast area was well stocked and better than I expected, especially during a pandemic. read more

*MILITARY DISCOUNT* This place is definitely worth the money. My fiancé and I are on our way to florida for the holidays and we needed a place just to stop and sleep and get going in the Morning. I looked for hotels all around Florence SC but they're all over priced being so close to the airport. This hotel is in Manning SC. We used a MILITARY DISCOUNT! Yippie! So that saved us $14 it was going to be $72 but with military discount it was $59. The good: walked in super clean! Awesome! Big king size bed that was so comfy and soft, clean sheets, clean floors, clean bathroom! Yay! So that's good. The bad: the TV & microwave didn't work, I think it was a bad outlet they were plugged into and 1 of our bath towels smelled like old cigarettes freakin ew! But we came to just sleep for 7 hours & get going. Didn't really care about TV & microwave. But hey when we moved the TV to check out the back there was a nudey magazine. Behind it. Bow-chicka-wow-wow.... Just kidding I barely touched it and felt super grossed out and had to wash my hands twice. Stuffed butts isn't my thing. THE BEST PART: the continental breakfast was freakin awesome!!! Such a nice free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, English muffin, muffins, instant grits, instant oatmeal, cream cheese for the bagels, orange juice Apple juice, nice STRONG HOT COFFEE!! Customer service was nice but motel was filthy. The towels were rough and visibly filthy with a brownish tint. The bed had a giant yellow stain like someone had peed all over it and there was a big hairball under the blanket. The tub and sink area were filthy and there was also hair in the sink. I was afraid to sleep because other reviews showed pics of roaches. I could not find another motel and it was late I had no choice. Never fixed and they had no other rooms. Could not use room until ready to go to bed and lock ourselves in. We were promised a discount in the morning. In the morning went to front desk for our discount and had to yell at clerk to wale him up. He did not have a clue but promised the manager would call back. On the road found they had also charged my card. Over the next few days threy either did not answer the phone or call me back. This place was gross. All the linen was stained. The sheets were disgusting and looked to have blood stains in them. The room smelled moldy. The bottom of the tan tub was black. It looked like no one ever cleaned the room as the phone, coffee maker, and tissue holder were super dusty. There was also a spider outside the size of my hand. NEVER AGAIN When I arrived I was standing in the outside vestibule waiting and ringing the bell for 15 mins because the attendant was sleeping. Due to the fact my arrival time was later than expected I called at 7:24pm and spoke with the attendant and let her know. I had asked would my late arrival be an issue, to which I was told no that a late arrival is okay. I had arrived around 3:45am and upon my arrival I must've already had a room assigned. The key was sitting on the desk and was ready. She gave me the keys to room 110. When I opened the door I immediately gagged from the awful scent of the room. I went to turn the light on over the sink and it didn't work. I was pissed but was willing to work with the room. When attempting to go to the bathroom I realized the switch also didn't work. It was a ridiculous amount of black mold on the ceiling. All things that would normally compel me to change rooms I ignored due to being sleepy from the drive. Once I laid down I immediately jumped up and asked my cousin if the beds felt damp. I called to the front desk and started to explain to which the call was disconnected. She never called the room back after being informed that I had just checked in and had issues. I walked around to speak with the attendant and change rooms and as soon as I walked in the door I was handed a key To unit 208. Walking up the stairs you could see all the spider webs and dirt all over the property. The 2nd room smelled awful as well but was more tolerable. I would never visit this hotel again. After staying here I don't know how any of these 5 stars reviews are actually real unless they are bought, relatives or employees. It is literally one of the most dirty, run down hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Like most other reviews, we needed to pull over and sleep arriving late in the evening. Immediately upon walking in the room, I honest to god thought it was in use already. Pulled the sheets back and there was hair and they were wrinkled. I don't believe they were even changed from the last stay. We pulled blankets out of our car and used those below us and on top so we didn't have to come in contact with sketchy bed linen. The bathroom had moldy caulk and was just not clean. The carpet was a science project gone awry so we left our shoes on. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. read more

The first hotel that had availability on our long drive to Florida. We were lucky to get a couple rooms for all of us. After getting checked in, we headed to our rooms and the card did not work for us to get in. Womp womp... We got it sorted out with front desk and headed straight in. The room was stuffy, buy we got the AC cranking to fix that. The room wasn't a bad set up. We got a big bed and a pull out couch to sleep my party of 3. Microwave and fridge were available too. It all went downhill when we went down for breakfast. There's a breakfast corner and they make no exaggeration by its name. I looked at the spread of food... Powdered scrambled eggs, toast, biscuits, etc. Not much of healthy going on for me so I stuck to coffee. Pretty weak coffee though. I saw some apple juice and grabbed some, but one sip tasted like concentrated apple syrup. The look on my boyfriend's face confirmed it wasn't just me who thought the same. Forgetting all healthiness, I went for some fruit loops and milk. Yummy nostalgia. Overall, people here were super nice and the room was decent, but don't expect much of breakfast. read more

Southern hospitality right off 95. We checked at 11:45 pm, road weary and ready to sleep. The woman who checked us in was friendly and cheerful, which was amazing to me, given the late hour. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. We could hear the person in the next room talking on the phone. But it didn't keep us awake. Breakfast was busy. The woman working breakfast was also cheerful, helpful and pleasant. Overall, a nice place to rest up on a road trip. read more

Maybe it felt this way because we aren't from the south? Price was $59 which wasn't bad compared to other nearby hotels. Room was clean, bed was good. Microwave and fridge worked well. Free wifi was better than most hotels. Speeds were 5mbps down, 1mbps up. All in all I would recommend this hotel. read more

I stayed at this Baymont by Wyhdham, Manning SC on 06/04/2021-06/05/2021. and was greatly dissapointed. First of all the gym & pool were closed. In fact the pool did not even have any water in it. The breakfast was terrible and was not well stocked. Finally the room was dirty; a mess. When I booked this through Wyndham there was no note as to the closed services but only found out about when i arrived. I have tried contacting Wyndham coutless times and have been bouched arount continually. The most recent reply from Wyndham was to contact the hotel manager directly. I have put a call into the hotel but the manager was not in. When i call back the front desk I can hardly understand who I am talking w/ and that I should call back again. I have been dealing w/ this concern for over a month and still no resolution. Wyhdham has done nothing but pass the buck off to other parties. I am requesting a full refund for my stay at this location. I still have not heard anything back from this hotel directly or Wyndham. Bottom line, DON'T STAY HERE!! read more

I was forced to stay here in a pinch while traveling to Florida. My wife called ahead to reserve a room while were about 30 miles away. It was around Christmas and everyone else was sold out. Luckily she called ahead and prepaid over the phone because when we arrived there were 10 people who literally just showed up when we arrived looking to get a room and 10 more showed up while checking in. The lady at check in need to take a class in customer service. Very rude and crass with the desperate people trying to get a room for the night. Rooms are very dated and rundown. There were a lot of stray cats on the property and they used the walkways and staircases for litter boxes. We got a room that had a pullout couch for the kid but there were no blankets. I asked the front desk for some but they were out. Luckily we always have a couple in the car for long road trips. Like I said, I stayed here in a pinch. read more

All i can say is filthy and very out dated. Our curtains, dust ruffle, and walls all had stains on them. The bathroom ceiling fan had mold all around it. The shower bar that is supposed to give you more room was mounted half way in the shower so the curtain kept sticking to me while i showered. Oh and don't follow the signs to the vending machines because you will walk in circles because they don't exist. If i wasn't so tired i would have just left. read more

I had stayed at a similar Baymont Inn in Delaware the night before and was treated a great deal better than Mrs. Grumps. The attendant at the first Baymont in Delaware was very helpful and made my stay quite pleasant. Making this review on behalf of my aunt who is not in the least computer savvy. She had a stay at this facility on 7/9/19 and the condition of this facility was absolutely horrible. Aside from the issues she had when booking and even checking in as they had assigned her a handicapped room (no tub) upon reaching the room, she found it to be disgusting so the no tub issue was no longer an issue. The chair in the room was stained. The carpets were stained. The room smelled moldy, the bathroom was filthy with the toilet looking as if it was not cleaned. When she felt the bed, it felt cold so the assumption was that the air conditioning made the bed cold. Quite the contrary, when she pulled back the covers, the cover over the sheet was damp. There were bugs both dead and alive in the room. When she reported this to the front desk, she was told that the manager was not in but she could speak with him the next day. When she asked for air freshener she was offered a can with small amount remaining in the can. To top things off she had to pay over $100 for this room that she had to resort to placing a plastic bags on the bottom of the bed so she could sleep on the bags for the night. Her conversation with the manager did not resolve much and needless to say eating the breakfast at the hotel was an absolute no. If the rooms looked like this, who's to say what kind of shape the kitchen is in. read more

It is an awasome hotel with pool and beautifull renovated rooms. We had two big beds, so comfortable that we even overslept. Everething is super clean. Staff is so polite and ready to help anytime. We were to stay here for 3 nights. We arrived mid-evening and the desk clerk couldn't process our credit card. Despite it being a chip card, we were scolded that we were wrong and it needed to be scanned, even while we were on the phone with our bank. The only positive was that she let us go to our room and contact the manager in the morning. Our room smelled of mold, dangerous for those with allergies. The blackout curtain failed to cover the light coming in from the top or between the window and a/c unit. The door did not seal and light and bugs came in that way. My boyfriend got up from the bed and found a bug crawling around. I had a bug fall from the wall onto me, and later that night found another bug on the bed. At that time we decided one night was enough. We brought all of this to the attention of the manager in the morning who said he would reduce the rate for the one night, but still had to charge our card an amount over the actual nightly amount and we would have to wait for the authorization to go through for the actual amount to post. Neither the night clerk or the manager in the morning were very friendly, and they did not seem to care about the mold or bugs. We spent a little extra money and found a beautiful hotel in Lake City. read more

We have stayed in other Baymonnt Inns and this one is very disappointing compared to others. The room had a distinct musty smell and the furniture was outdated and showed much wear. We had a few ants inside on the air conditioning unit and had to call to have them sprayed. The pool was closed (really, it was 90 the day we checked in). The room though was clean as was the bathroom but then entire place needs a facelift. read more
