I am giving this hotel 5 stars, with the explanation that it "exceeded expectations" and my expectations were pretty low. Here goes: I was a single woman traveler and unfamiliar with the area so I was mostly concerned with security and also cleanliness. I was a last minute reservation and was happy to snag the last available room in the area. I was concerned when I saw the low Yelp star-rating, but when I read the actual reviews, it seemed like the guests somehow expected the Ritz Carlton? For $100/night? This family-owned place was great. Everything in my room worked perfectly. No issues with cleanliness or security. Breakfast was free and plenty of it. Mostly I loved that I had the feeling that if something wasn't right, the super-nice young woman at the front desk would take care of me. And do it with a smile! Sure, the property was a little worn out, but, again, everything worked and the staff was so nice. read more

Stayed here over night on a work trip. Entire place reeked of weed. 3 guys were blowing smoke right outside of my room. I had to be up at 5am and the people next to me partied till 4:30 AM on a monday. Stains everywhere, AC didn't work, room smelt like garbage. Just go 10 minutes down the road and find something else. Four stars for the cleanliness of the room and kindness of the staff. This is a lower quality hotel, but you definitely get a great option for a reasonable price. Stayed in a 2 queen bed room that was very clean, had nice hot water in the shower, and a working heater/air conditioning unit. Staying here for a couple nights while in town was perfect for me. The breakfast was less than I anticipated, but still nice enough. Hot coffee and a waffle worked for me. Wished for some yogurt or a bagel too, but I got up a bit late for it. Overall very good option for a very low price. Would recommend if you are not looking for anything too special. read more

Website said "free hot breakfast," but we do not call a waffle machine a hot breakfast. What we found was an extremely skimpy breakfast - they were out of OJ; no eggs or meat (which is what we expected by hot breakfast); no cream cheese, peanut butter, or jelly, only butter was available. The woman at the desk at check-in in the evening did not know the difference between cheese and butter when I asked about the breakfast. She said they have cheese at breakfast, but she was mistaken. The room floor was not vacuumed thoroughly. Room and hotel could use updating as they were dingy. There was only one hand towel and wash cloth for two adults. The towels were extremely thin. For a Quality Inn, it was low quality. read more

We stopped overnight at this hotel while on our way to Indiana. I booked online and paid online and they required my card for a deposit upon checking in. I gave him the card number and the next morning 3 hours after checkout I kept getting charges from the hotel. I called the manager who insisted they didn't have my card number and that it was someone else, even though I could clearly see the charges coming from his hotel located at the exact address we stayed. I encouraged him to check his cameras so that he could see and hear me giving my card number to his family member that checked me in the night before, but he obviously wouldn't because he's aware of the scam they're running. I had to shut my card off while on vacation and that was an entire mess. Use caution when booking and read reviews. I'm not the only one this happened to. The owner is fully aware this is happening. read more

Gross is the best way to describe the hotel. Stains on the sheets . Bathroom was ewe. Stains on carpet.

Seriously unbeatable for its price. I travel a lot and do my best to stay away from dirty places. I know the outside and lobby area don't look the greatest, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the customer service was phenomenal. The lady at the front was training someone new, and when I was having trouble understanding something, she very kindly showed me options and explained everything thoroughly and solved the issue. Surfaces were shiny, carpet and bedding clean, and the inside of the rooms looked phenomenal. This hotel probably doesn't have the best budget, but they spend it on all the right things and put the guest first. Only discrepancy that I noticed was that the coffee machine in the room could've been a little cleaner. Other than that, I'm extremely satisfied. I WILL be back! read more

We were a late arrival on a cross country trip. The desk clerk was very kind and helpful and patient helping us get the Tesla charger set up and running. Although the room we booked (king plus a single) was not available they had a rollaway bed and linens sent up in no time! The room was clean and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised as this was a great deal! Will keep in mind when traveling through Ohio again. read more

Stayed here recently. When I called to say I would be checking in late, I barely got the gist of what the manager said before hanging up. Upon check-in late that night (11 PM), no soda machine on any floor works. I hear another lodger ask if there is anywhere open in the area for something to drink. The desk attendant mumbled something along the lines of "No." Keep in mind I'm just checking in at this point, and although it is late, I saw several gas stations open on my way to this place. When I go to check out the next day, there is just a sign there says "Be Back in 10 Minutes." Really, no one available to handle the desk near check out time? Wouldn't you expect that to be one of your busier times? A lady comes out and she just writes down my room number and stares at me. No receipt or paperwork of any kind.... I would recommend you avoid staying here. read more

I'm here in Streetsboro now, not enjoying my stay at all......paid with credit card receptionist didn't give price or wifi code kinda seemed like she was in a rush, asked for a receipt realize room was 129 told her I couldn't afford it may have to check out , she said she refunded to my account...... don't know what happened but my account is in the negative my card got charged 3 times! This place was horrible. We booked a non smoking room. She also tried to charge us $200 "tax" on a $350 bill and put us in an obviously smoking room. It was so smoky that my eyes burned and my throat closed up. They yelled at us when we insisted on being put in a non-smoking room as per our reservation. After an hour of tolerating their lies and incompetence - they still could not manage to put us in one of the 6 available non-smoking rooms. The desk girl is not at all capable of utilizing the hotel's software. They told us to leave and stay somewhere else and they would refund our credit card. The refund did't happen. I called a week later and they said we would get an email with a refund receipt and we never did. When I called corporate office to try to get a refund, that front desk moron at the hotel had us listed as a "no show". How I wish that had been the case. I will never ever go to this dump ever again and you should not either. We found a much cleaner place down the road with a hot tub and really nice breakfast. read more

Vending machines are out of order, 2 of 3 ice machines out of order. Elevator is missing inspection sticker. I also encountered the "back in 10 minutes" sign previously reported. The room was nice and was modern. It was clean. There is no breakfast, but was warned of this when making reservation. The cost does seem high for the type of hotel and lack of any amenities. There were a few people hanging outside the lobby that concerned me. Interesting sign about a $100 deposit for Ohio residents or smokers, have not seen this before. A few red flags for me, but the rooms were pleasantly nice and comfortable. read more

Stayed here because they had Tesla Chargers. Marginal hotel at best! No mention of breakfast when arriving as they have suspended them. No coffee in lobby either in the morning. The charger I used worked and surprised as this will be the next cost cutting thing to go. Low budget for sure! read more

Quality Inn? More like Inferior Inn! When I asked for more towels for my family's room I was told that we needed to use the towels in our room first and then bring them down to the front desk before I could get more. Really? What are you afraid of? That I'm asking for extra so I can steal them? They're plain white towels - not solid gold! Very nice property with issues, odd that it has some rooms that are exterior but most are interior, good bed, clean room, nice colors and no visible chips or damage, (here it comes). ..... exterior doors to lobby are manual ie not automatic and have no handicapped button so you get to play the balance game to bring luggage in and out, trash cans outside are not emptied at least since I got here, carpet in hall not vacuumed, again at least since I got here, someone's been at counter every time I have come and gone and have acknowledged each time, overall not too bad and decent price. read more

Rooms unspectacular but clean. Beds comfy, pillows plentiful and very nice. Bathrooms look recently redone. Good water pressure and lighting over the sink. Left too early to try breakfast. Would prefer not to have stayed in a smoking room but we booked late for a very busy weekend and there were only smoking rooms left by that point. read more

The room was clean and adequate. My concern was the check-in experience. I arrived at 2 pm for a 3 pm check in time. The desk clerk advised me I would have to pay an extra fee to check in early. All I wanted to do was check in, leave my suitcase in the room and then leave with a relative who was picking me up. I have checked in a bit early to many hotels and there was never a problem....plus, I was staying for 3 nights! I found the desk clerk rude and not accommodating. I have stayed at many locations across the country in this chain the room were clean however when I checked in and found damage I didn't want to be a pain but informed the clerk what I found she said that she could not get it taken care of right that sec but it would be ok I was in the room less then five minutes 2 weeks after booking through hotels.com I find charges on the room as well as a charge for the damage took 3 phone calls and five days to get to talk to a manager who accused me of damaging her room what the heck very sad all this drama and no customer service of any kind save your self the headache and stay somewhere else this place will leave a bad taste in your mouth..... read more
