Checked in on May 21st. Woke up in middle of night to find the room full of cockroaches. Called front desk. They didn't seem surprised. Switch rooms next morning. Went and visited family. Returned to New room that evening and guess what? More cockroaches!. Had to leave hotel with no compensation. These people are crooks! read more

Think Shitts Creek, we had two rooms for a family emergency in Fla. Our kids room had a horrible smell and then we found a long standing leak under the sink with mold. After the first night we moved them into the room with us. Our room needs a lot to be desired. The sink is falling off the wall in the bathroom and they just keep calling it. The couches look like a science experiment of stains and god knows what else. Then there was a mystery zig zag white line down the entire center of the rug. Towels were various colors of white There seems to be a number of long term residence here who hang out in the front of the building. The area had "a lot" of nighttime activity going on in the parking lot. I will say the front desk staff did their best and were sweet and understanding. The maintenance man apologized for the leak in the kids room. So the staff try their best with a crappy situation. Quality Inn needs to work on their level of quality. read more

I stayed at the Zephyrhills Quality Inn for 24 days in May while having cataract surgery. I found my stay to be very pleasant. I opted for the King bed room, it had everything I needed in the way of furnishings. There were way more than enough TV channel choices, and the WIFI worked fine every day at any hour. The breakfast bar was adequate--no eggs--but waffles, yay! Also, there were 3 cereal offerings, granola bars, yogurt, apples, orange juice, and coffee. All the staff are friendly and helpful; however, I must give a special shoutout to always professional while personable graveyard shift desk clerk, Sherry. I woke several nights in the early AM hours and went downstairs to go outside for a bit of a cigarette. Sherry always had an entertaining story to tell. At present, there is some room remodeling in process during office hours. Also, the old carpet in the 1st floor hall and in the rooms is stained; however, those old carpets are scheduled to be replaced. I recommend that you make your reservation well in advance of your planned stay. This hotel is very popular. There were days when no vacancy signs were hung on the front doors. read more

This hotel good. Clean. I would stay again. The only complaints would be the breakfast which really only offers a waffle maker and some cereal. The other complaint is that even though I booked online and paid the non-refunded rate, I was charged another $8.58 when I checked in and was told it was state fee and hotel service fee. What's up with this? Don't they know what these charges are when I paid the first time? Ugh! read more

Soooo grateful for this hotel! We had movers who had come in later than we'd all expected and wanted to put them up for the night. This hotel accommodated them very easily and we really appreciated the receptionist who was assisting us. She was top notch! Thanks so much! The guys said it was very nice there as well. read more

Stayed last night and when arrived the desk clerk was outside smoking and talking to a friend and never made an effort to get her ass inside to check us in I had to go outside and asked her if she worked here because we want to check in. we stood at the counter over 15 minutes waiting for her, and that is poor customer service also the bathroom in the room was filthy hardly no hot water to take a shower. We will never stay there again. The breakfast has a lot to be desired, had coffee,tea and ice water. No eggs, muffins, bagels or toast but they had a waffle iron but no batter (go figure). There is NO excuses for a place like this for the amount of money that they charge. Ridiculous. read more

We are staying at the "Quality Inn" for one night and we are not off on a good start. We reserved one room with a King size bed, but they also reserved an additional King Suite for us as well. That did not effect us in the slightest and is not the reason for this bad review. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely, and we were on our way to our room. We opened the door and the place was a disaster. Bed was un-made, T.V. was still on, empty pop bottles everywhere, and just plain dirty. This, though inconvenient, yet again was not the reason for the bad review. I understand that crap happens, and I usually just go with the flow. We went to the front counter and explained the mix-up. The man at the counter seemed apologetic, but replied with "We are completely booked and the only other room we have available would be a downgraded room with a double bed." We replied with a question that shouldn't even if had to be asked, "Didn't you accidentally book us for two rooms, the other room being a King Suite?" We were upset with the resistance we met. We were not going to go to a downgraded room when the mistake was not on our end. In the end, we were set up in the King Suite. A decent room, not much to strain your neck at. A lot of room, bigger than average hotel bathroom, and plain UN-decorated walls. The pool is small, but they do have a free morning breakfast. We won't leave with too much of a bad taste in our mouths, just our suite cases stuffed with the free cookies! Would have given this hotel a 1 star, but we did eventually get what was deserved, and the room is decent. Would have gotten a 3 or 4 star if we didn't have to state the obvious, and suggest that we get an upgraded room instead of a downgraded room. read more

This is probably one of the best Quality Inns I have been to. The room was very spacious and clean. I have no complaints about my stay.

I normally prefer the Quality Inn over other hotels in Zephyrhills, but this experience wasn't so great. When we arrived, our room smelled musty, there was dust all along the rug where the rug hit the wall. The bed sheets were rough and the mattress was so uncomfortable that we were in pain all week. There was a bottle cap behind the broken headrest as well. When we complained to the front desk after the first night, they came in and cleaned the room much better. It almost seemed like we stayed in a dirty room, which made us feel pretty gross. Even once clean, the room was dingy. The bathroom is not that nice and everything is really old. I may be looking for somewhere else to stay next time. read more

This has been one of the best hotels that I have stayed in during this trip (11 days & 9 hotels) . The font desk was an easy check in , the room was great and spotless. There are plenty of places the eat in the area. They have a nice breakfast area and good assortment to choose from. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. read more

Booked a room for a week and paid for it. Flight delayed so called hotel to let them know to hold my room. They said no problem. When I arrived, someone else was in my room. No more rooms available. Manager unreachable for days. Asked repeatedly for her to call me to explain why they gave my room to someone else when they said they would hold it. I had to sleep in my car. This is your standard hotel. They had accidentally double booked us for a King bed and a King suite. When we opened the door to the room with just the King bed, the room had not been cleaned and the tv was on like someome was there. When we told the front desk, the guy said "I'm sorry, were booked besides a double bed room", until we reminded him he had double booked us for the suite. So a bad thing turned into a good thing. It was a basic suite, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. read more

Nice and great people and well maintained and close to everything, a real bargain in travel for this area. The staff was the best, and the General Manager is tops. She went above and beyond to make sure we had plenty of towels, as there was 6 of us in our room. read more

Stayed one night while visiting my brother in the hospital. We had a very pleasant experience. My elderly parents were with me and the rooms were large, so they had plenty of room to move about with a walker. The double beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. We had a hot breakfast that consisted of eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, grits, oatmeal, various pastries, fruits, yogurt, and a variety of juices, and coffee. The entire hotel staff from check-in through check-out provided excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel. It is obviously managed by someone that has invested time and training in an awesome staff. Thank you for going over and above to making our stay a great experience. read more
