We were so impressed on how well she understood the concept of what we envisioned. United Kitchen gave us a very reasonable quote without any add ons. The crew was very friendly, professional and very fast, but perfectionist during the cabinet installation and the granite fabrication/installation process. Our kitchen make over was completed in two days, and of course it looks like a million dollar kitchen to us. Thank you so much United Kitchen! I'm looking forward to working with you in the future. If you are looking for a kitchen or bath remodel, save yourself some time and a headache, go see Mia at United kitchen".

I was looking into getting new countertops in kitchen, reached out to Milestone and explained to…read morethem the type of material I was looking for, which was quartz with grey veining and repeated mentioned I wanted veins going the same direction through out kitchen and no visible seams, I was assured they could do the job. Day of install came and one of the panels was going vertically and everything else horizontally. Reached out to John and after a little back and forth he agreed to replace the panel at no extra charge. When day of replacement came it was only a crew of 2 guys, they struggled a little to move stove and were concerned about gas line as they were unsure how to close it, the guy in charge took them outside and told them to be quiet, stop complaining and get it done. 3 months after replacement section was installed and final payment was made my countertops cracked! I reached out again via email to John, several people from his team came out to look at countertops a couple of times and I was told they'd replace them once they had the same material leftover from another job. That was over a year ago! I repeatedly reached out to John and James who now no longer works with John and I was just given more excuses. I consulted with another company and I was told the reason for counters cracking was most likely bad installation since there were no signs. We also paid for cabinet lighting and lights went out a day after installing after having guy come out multiple times we gave up. I have recently filed a complaint with the BBB, countertops should have come with some type of warranty for at least a year.

Terrible service. They were requested to remove and reinstall Hunter Douglass blinds. Once…read moreremoved it was discovered that a clip was missing. My wife notified them before they were to come back for reinstallation. Never a phone call. The Clip is a 10 cent item from Hunter Douglass which they do not keep in stock. I could have easily located if requested, but Houston Carpet never advised us that was too big of an ask for them to source. Technician shows up with no extra clip in stock and owner tells us that if they have to come back it will be another $75 trip charge. We can either chose to have a half-ass install or eat another $75. Avoid these guys like the plague.

This company made a promising first impression but the last impression is what matters most. And…read morelet me just say, it couldn't have been worse. Initially, we hired them to replace hardwood floors with LVP. However, the new floors didn't align with the baseboards, leading to 3 options: Replacing all baseboards Adding 1/4 round and repainting them Adding taller wood along with 1/4 round without needing paint. We have texts from the owner to prove this. We chose option 3, but later, we were told the baseboards would still need repainting, which was a concerning inconsistency. Despite this, we gave them more work, including adding a shower pan, new sheetrock, and tiling two restrooms. However, none of these projects were completed as promised. In the first restroom, a stand-up shower, they replaced the sheetrock, added the pan, and were supposed to tile it to the ceiling. At the last moment, the owner demanded an additional $175 to place the FINAL piece of tile at the very top, leaving the job unfinished. Workers stated they felt bad, but followed orders in fear of getting in trouble. Communication with the owner became impossible for six days. In the second restroom, a tub shower, they replaced the sheetrock but left the edges incomplete. The owner claimed it wasn't their responsibility and demanded more money to finish it. He said we should have known "the edges were outside the shower" and thus not part of the job. (Despite installing new sheetrock, which should have included smoothing the edges.) Niche edges were also to be painted to match the tile, but this wasn't done. After numerous complaints, the owner agreed to complete the stand-up shower but refused to finish and smooth the edges of the tub shower, leaving it visibly incomplete. Again, another worker of his stated he felt bad, but followed orders and reluctantly left. There's more! The billing process was equally frustrating. The owner initially texted us a balance of $7,100 (we spent over 57k) with unclear details. When we requested a clear breakdown, his wife provided a handwritten one, showing a different balance of $6,967. When we questioned these discrepancies, the owner had nothing to say. In addition, prices for additional jobs (painting stairs and staining the front door) were different than provided via text. See below: $4,700 to paint baseboards $1,500 on staining front door $975 on painting stairs Since we chose not to do the baseboards, he increased the front door to $1,800 and the stairs to $1,500. That is a $825 difference, which the owner claimed he had verbally discussed, despite no such conversation taking place. He justified this increase due to assigning different crews instead of having one do it all, which was not our responsibility as clients. We were given a price and that's what it should've been. Why do we suffer due to his poor management? When we refused to pay the inflated amount, the owner THREATENED to put a lien on our house, despite no signed contract for those prices. When we told him we would pay because we are good people and wanted to be done with him, he YELLED at us, "YOU MUST HAVE A BORING LIFE!" and hung up when we mentioned leaving a bad review. To make matters worse, when we reached out to his wife, who had just sent us an invoice that same day, she acted as though she didn't know us, asking, "Who is this?" This sums up how they do business, once they have your money, they don't care about you! If I could give this company negative stars, I would! The fact that the owner seemed so genuine at first is the scary part. He fools you then gets you with additional surprise costs and unfinished work. The additional costs need to be written down and signed, every time! Otherwise, he'll throw out whatever number he wants! SUCH A DISHONEST UNRELIABLE COMPANY!
