As I got closer to the window, it started to feel like the staff was intentionally dragging their feet to stall until closing time. When I was finally the next car up, the window was closed without a word--no acknowledgment, no explanation, just shut down. After waiting over 30 minutes, I was completely ignored. It came across as if the staff didn't care that I had been patiently waiting in line well before closing. I understand things get busy, but customers should still be treated with respect and not pushed aside. This felt like poor time management and a lack of basic courtesy.

However, several issues have been making my shopping experience increasingly uncomfortable. I often feel like I'm being watched. When I walk down an empty aisle, someone seems to appear almost immediately, and they stand very close to me. The self‑checkout area is especially uncomfortable -- the employee there watches me so closely that it feels accusatory. I've never stolen anything in my life; I'm the person who turns in lost cell phones. This is the only store where I ever feel this way, and it's discouraging. The large blue baskets employees push around are another concern. I've been bumped or hit by them more than once. Recently, an item I canceled at checkout was accidentally left in my cart by an employee. I drove back to return it because I didn't want anyone to get in trouble, but the situation added to my frustration. The produce section also needs improvement. Some items are fine, but the potatoes are often old, and the lettuce is frequently wilted. The layout of the produce area makes things worse -- the slanted tables and narrow pathways cause constant congestion, and customers end up bumping into each other. I hope these issues can be addressed. I like this store and want to continue shopping here but thinking of changing to a different store. The overall experience has become stressful. Improving the layout, produce quality, and customer interactions would make a big difference.

My doctor sent my prescription to Apotheco Pharmacy and when I called to ask about it, I had informed them I didn't have the means to pay such amount. It only took a "let me place you on hold for a moment" and next thing you know, I'm paying $35!!! Like what?!?! This pharmacy listened to my concerns about payment and rather than have me running in circles, they took care of me with just one call. The great thing about it is they shipped my prescription to my home, instead of having me drive to their pharmacy. Top notch service if you ask me. I'm very pleased with their level of service. He will bend over backwards and go out of his way to help you and make sure you are taken care of. I have never experienced such an incredibly high-level of Customer Service from a Pharmacy as I have from Express Pharmacy in Escondido . The other employees I have interacted with are all extremely kind and courteous, and every single one of them are equally knowledgeable and friendly. The prices here are just as competitive, if not better than the big box pharmacies, which makes it a no-brainer on where you should go if you have a prescription that you need filled! Express Pharmacy also has a very big selection of over-the-counter medicine as well, and every employee is extremely well-versed in their knowledge when it comes to giving recommendations. With that being said, they obviously always run everything by the pharmacist as they should. In summary, I truly believe you are missing out on incredible service, great prices, and a very friendly and family oriented atmosphere if you are not bringing your business to Express.

This CVS really grinded my gears the other day as the pharmacy employee saw a clear example of a…read morecustomer acting poorly and didn't do anything about it. In my eyes it isn't up to us other customers to say anything, but he should have. Here is what happened. As we all stood in line waiting to grab a prescription, a lady waddled up to the counter that was already fully occupied with customers and stood over a customer's shoulder. For one, that's a pretty big violation and the staff member should have told her that it was a invasion of privacy (the customer had to), and for two, when he was done with the customer at the counter he started to serve her when there were at least four of us waiting to be seen before her. Sure, any one of us customers could have spoken up but the pharmacy authority figure could have easily said "there's a line, you need to stand in it behind those people." If I would have said something I probably would have ended up on TikTok with an inaccurate title of "angry customer starts fight at CVS." Totally not worth it. He saw it, he did nothing, and while not the biggest deal in the world, accepting human entitlement is not cool in my world.
