Outstanding support from Martine. Did a great inspection, purge and balance of my septic system. Taught me how to do basic maintenance and inspection clearly and thoroughly. Troubleshot a number of small issues including leaking sump tank, missing purge valve, clogged leach lines. Found purge valve (wasn't easy!) and unclogged two lines which required some real work and extremely high pressure water. Did a really great job. I left feeling like the septic was working great, I can manage all of the routine issues, I can troubleshoot minor issues and Quality Septic is a phone call away if needed. read more

Quality Septic is a great septic service. In 2017, they pumped my septic tank and installed a cover on my second chamber. They did great work. Where they really earned my future business was today. I had a clog in my house's waste system and the plumbers thought the septic tank was full and backing up, and that it needed to be pumped. I called Martin at Quality Septic and he had me text him some photos. From the photos he could tell that the septic system was in order and the plumbers needed to get back to work. Five star plus for the service we received last week from Quality Septic. We needed to have our 60 plus year old leach lines located for a findings report. Martine showed up right on time, quickly located our distribution boxes and had them uncovered while our tank was being pumped. When the boxes were uncovered we saw that two had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. He immediately called and had new ones brought to the site. While a crew installed the new boxes he located the leach lines, jetted them out and marked all locations so we could map them for our site plan. Everything was covered back up and the job completed within a matter of hours. We were very impressed with the efficiency and competency of his crew. This is my second 5-star review in less than a year. Our first service was for routine pumping. This time our alarm went off and the pump stopped working. Martine's son, Andreas, came alone and quickly identified that we had had an electrical short and small fire in the pump wiring junction box. Since electrical repairs went beyond his expertise, he immediately referred us to his uncle, Feilpe, who came out two hours later and fixed our electrical problem on a Friday afternoon. Just had Quality Septic back for a pump out, the second time I used them. No problems with the pump out and attempted lawn repair, but the worker left the job WITHOUT CLOSING THE GATE. This is a semi-rural area and wildlife issues are bad enough. I foolishly assumed the worker had enough common sense to close the gate so it was open all night. Deduct one star. read more

Martin's employee promptly arrived on time and pumped my septic system as it was nearing capacity. During the pumping it was discovered there was an issue with my pump that his employee could not fix. Martin is very fair, he charged me half the price that I was quoted by his competitor. He is knowledgeable, knew exactly what to do, diagnosed the problem and then resolved it. He let me know that it was misdiagnosed by the competitor that had done work on it and he was so comprehensive in his work, he fixed it all at such a reasonable price. I rarely leave online reviews, but occasionally, a company impresses me so much that I have to tell others. We worked with Quality Septic Services on two occasions. The first was for a septic tank pumping and assessment. The second time was to fix the issues identified. We were having an issue with my father-in-law's septic tank and all we knew was that it had "some kind" of issue and it hadn't been serviced in the last 15~20 years. Also, since it wasn't our house, we could only work with a septic company on Saturdays. Martine was recommended by a septic inspector/consultant, and they also had the highest rating on Yelp. The referral and ratings were rightly justified. For the pumping, Martine's delegate tried to fix as many of the issues he spotted during the inspection, but to fix the major issues, required different and heavier machinery. The second time, Martine and his crew came out and did everything they said they would (plus more) to get the septic system working again. We were very impressed that to do the extra work that was discovered during the second visit, that Martine had the materials in his truck on-site, so there was no waiting or having to reschedule a third visit. Quality Septic Services was a pleasure to work with and they were very flexible with the arrangements. When they left the second job, the site was in better condition than it was when they started, and we were told that the septic tank will be good for another 25 to 30 years. Martine (and his delegate) showed up right on time when they said they would. We really appreciated the professionalism, communications, and explanations as the work was performed. My one warning to prospective clients is to be patient when you try to contact them. It may take a few days to get a return call or text. We have had Martin and team work on our system for 15 years. Last week we had the tank pumped and we discovered that the main line was mostly blocked causing the tank to not drain. They arranged to get a hydro jetter out the next day and cleared the line in 10 minutes. Then they also keyed the lines near the leach field as local redwood tree roots tend to block them. I have been doing business with Martin for about 10 years. He has pumped my septic tank several times and has done other work for me with my system. I have a separate building next to my house that is about 200 feet from my septic tank. 17 years ago I had a separate pump installed that carried waste water to my main septic tank. My tank was failing and Martin came over to evaluate the situation when I was not home. He told me I needed a new tank and he would redo the original piping around the tank which was not very professional. In addition, he found a leak in the pipe going to my septic tank and said he would repair that as well. He installed the new tank and eliminated all the exposed pipes above the ground. He buried the whole thing in the ground and now you only see the top of the tank, before it was an eyesore. He also repaired the pipe and made the whole thing look perfect. I echo all the statements that the others have made. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional and his rates are beyond reasonable. In today's world were good customer service is hard to find, Martin's company is a stand out operation that offers you the type of service you expect. Very timely, good quality work, and cleaned up afterwards. We've since used him 2 other times, the last just this morning. It starts with his timely return of our phonecall. Some companies don't even do that! He arrived right on time, ready to do what was needed. We needed our septic tank pumped as it had been about 4 years, and sure enough it was needing to be pumped. Martine showed me everything, explaining the entire process to me (city girl here), and was great to work with.
