It's pricey for what's offered. It's about as good as your average motel 6 or red roof in, but the cost was almost triple the Motel 6. The staff were kind, greeted us when we came in, etc. However the pool is closed, and we only came here for an indoor pool for our kid. They did not tell us this on the phone, or at check out. They waited for me to ask. The room was cleaned (clear signs of a recent dusting and sanitizing) but is quite dated. They also don't serve breakfast and they do not inform you that most of the amenities are not in service. There's a small piece of ripped up paper taped to the far end of the counter that you are expected to find. Prices do NOT reflect the severe lack of amenities, and the desk clerk said there was nothing she could do about it. Save your money and just go 4 miles into Killeen for something better. Not worth the $169 we paid after taxes. read more

This place has been a total disaster. Checked in and opened the door to the assigned room, only to be faced with the surprised look of the current occupant. Good way to get someone hurt. Finally got another room but coffee maker wouldn't work. Then, on return from an outing, the door key would not work. When we finally got a new key, we noted the room had not been serviced. Went to get ice and there was none. The gal at the front was snippy about this and did not offer up ice when you know they have in the kitchen. read more

The hotel was pretty and roomy enough for my family. We assumed a suit meant there'd be a kitchen but reading the room description would have cleared that up, it was our fault. The room was clean and room service was great. The people working at the desk were hit and miss. Most were really friendly one was really hard to find when she worked the desk because she was always in the back room. The woman making breakfast was so sweet and we looked forward to seeing her every morning. The breakfast was good and the Texas shaped waffles were awesome. The management of the hotel was very helpful and he even ask how our stay was halfway through. We drove from Killeen every day to stay here and would definitely stay again. The Quality Suites in Copperas Cove was a good hotel to stay at for the money spent. The room was clean and the front desk clerk when we checked in was very nice and helpful. The best part was the hot breakfast. It was all good. Sausage links, patties and bacon and eggs. The best part of breakfast was the lady who was running it on Nov. 19th and 20th. I didnt get her name, but she was so nice to all the guests,and especially our kids. The only issue we had was the beds were to hard. I had trouble sleeping. read more

Horrible hotel, they gave us a different room than the one we asked for because they "had no other rooms" , but we reserved it on their website prior. The room was dirty, the toilet wasn't working, the front desk woman was unhelpful and didn't compensate at all for the rooms, this hotel is worth $50 and not a cent more. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This dump can't honestly be called a hotel. The key cards didn't work and the woman at the desk was hateful when we asked for replacements. To save money they don't run the AC in the main building or hallways so you have to be in your room to be cool. The floors are filthy throughout and the interior is extremely run down and unkept. The furniture wouldn't be accepted at Goodwill, the bedding and bathroom towels were all stained and unwashed and we even had a disgusting washcloth stuck to the wall in our room. There was loud music and people coming and going on our entire floor all night so I'm guessing its where people go for less than legal activities. We did not feel safe there and even took our valuables with us when we left for dinner. Stay there at your own risk!!! read more

I'm usually a Comfort Suites fan. This one has not impressed me. And it did so with two things: 1) The clerk who checked me in couldn't have been more bored with me if I had been reading the telephone book to her. She didn't even bother to tell me where my room was. She just got my signature and pushed a room key at me without even looking up. It's not like I'm looking for a bellman or anything -- just some nice customer service, ya know? 2) Housekeeping blows. The mini fridge hadn't been cleaned out from the previous guest, so half-consumed cartons of milk and guacamole greeted me when I opened it up. The guac is browning, so who knows how long that's been there. That's just pretty gross. What else did housekeeping not clean? Outside of that, the hotel is a nice, new Comfort Suites, which means you get all the standard mod cons the chain offers. A nice king bed, a couch that doubles as a sofa bed, free (slow, in this case) wi-fi, microwave, fridge, etc. Love the chain; not loving this location. read more

We have stayed here multiple times and have always been happy. Good service from Lisa at the desk. Hotel was full, so got upgraded to a 2 room suite to accommodate some other guest requests. Got lucky! Internet is acceptable, and breakfast is one step above the normal boring. That means biscuits and gravy! Overall, a good place to stay, and if you book early, the price is great! Don't stay here if you need to get work done on the internet. Over a period of four days it was intermittent throughout. Managers kept having to reset it, leaving it out for 20 min at a time. This hotel was not too bad. My husband and I were booking several hotels in the area, while the furniture looks like it can have an upgrade, it was perfectly fine. We were not disturbed, they offered free breakfast, and the noise volume is at a minimum. The front desk was pretty friendly and we did enjoy our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and my husband and I slept like a baby. So that was an A+ in itself. A luxury hotel it's not, but it a pretty good place to go if you're on a budget and compared to some of the Hotels that I went to in the area give or take 10 miles, this one was actually one of the best. Stayed here for business a month ago and found it serviceable enough for a short stay and the room clean enough. Today I'm here for a similar business trip, but it's a completely different experience. The hallway and room are very dirty-food in the carpet by the bed, spilled drinks in the tub (so it obviously wasn't cleaned), hair on the toilet, and dried stuff on the bathroom door that I have to assume is vomit. The smoke alarm was ripped out of the ceiling, and the room reeks of cigarette smoke and cheap air freshener. I'm struggling to sleep tonight because the sheets are full of peppermint oil (it's literally all I can smell, it's so strong), and my head and sinuses are therefore raging. I called down about the smoke detector immediately upon discovering it missing and was not offered a new room, nor was someone dispatched to fix the issue, which is severely concerning. This definitely rates as one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. I definitely would be wary of staying here. read more

The good: The desk people that work at quality suites in Copperas Cove Texas, were very very nice--all of them. The rooms were filthy. Our room, had what seemed like, someone had cut their hair and it was on the bed sheets and the carpet. The walls were hacked up--the plaster was off of them. The chair to sit at the desk was broken. In my parent's room, the TV did not work and the water from the shower hardly worked at all. The fact that this is a "Suite" and it probably handles most people who are in our Armed Services and their families----it's an absolute disgrace. The walls and floors need deep cleaning, as well as the furniture itself. You shouldn't have to go to a five-star hotel to get a nice, simple, clean room with running water, a workable tv, and a decent breakfast. read more

Our room door wouldn't lock without assistance from staff. Our bathroom door was hard to open and close. But with that being said, it was clean and comfortable! Didn't use the pool, but the kids that were in it seemed to enjoy it, and it looked and smelled clean. The rugs are dated and the place seems a little from the 70's in regard to decorations, but the TV was decent sized and had a good bit of channels. Our king suite had a couch and a table and office chair. There is a free breakfast, that was decent. The offerings were bagel, toast, pastry, hard boiled egg, cinnamon rolls, mini muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, three kinds of cereal, a make your own waffle maker that makes a waffle in the shape of Texas, and the hot offerings were scrambled eggs, bacon (alternated with sausage through our stay) and warm biscuits. Coffee, hot tea, apple and orange juice and milk were offered as well. In the lobby there is a small "store" area with a few medicines and candy, chips, popcorn, ramen noodles, and a frozen area with a few freezer meals and ice creams for sale. It would be nice in a pinch. Although there are so many stores a block or two away, like Walmart across the street, and HEB a block over from that. There's also a Wendy's and Whataburger really close. This Whataburger is open 24 hours and also serves breakfast, so that's convenient. read more

Was denied service because of my service dogs. The weird part is three weeks earlier had stayed at this same hotel with no problem. The clerk who was assisting me get signed in was apparently new so then her supervisor, Missy, stepped up to show her how to log in ... and as soon as I said I had service dogs she stopped, stated there were no pets allowed. I stated again that they were service dogs she responded with there would be additional fees , not sure if they could accommodate me , would have to call owner etc, etc, and the entire time made it very difficult for me... I told her I had just stayed in this hotel three weeks earlier and Missy stated I shouldn't have been aloud to have stayed. I informed her about the A.D.A. laws and she just laughed about the situation. I went over to the Best Western, was met by the nicest clerk and got a room with no problems at all. So I guess what I'm saying is if you need a room in Copperas Cove TX, go to the Best Western, even if you don't have a service dog. read more

Rented the meeting for a fundraiser and left it clean with exception of 1 trash bag that was in the trash receptacle & was told my it was left extremely dirty and kept my cleaning deposit. in addition to that was I was charged for breakfasts of other guests!! LOVE, with big pink hearts, this place!!! It was chosen by a young man I consider a nephew and his bride, for their wedding guests. EXCELLENT JOB. Ginger made it happen for us. Everything, from the check-in late at night to the pool to room to the service, was PERFECT. My only gripe, and it's a small one...could they PLEASE, as request, train the breakfast person in gluten issues? I made do with the wonderful bananas, oranges, apples, and yogurt, but OH! I so wanted some of those eggs and sausages, and was tempted to eat them. Sadly, because of their close proximity to the biscuits and gravy, when I did sample them, the gluten kicked in, and NOT GOOD. With so many being diagnosed with celiac and gluten allergies, it might be helpful to keep the eggs and sausage separate. Also lose Ethostream. They are the WORST Internet provider EVER. But that is a choice, I found, that many a motel has made, to its detriment. Other than those, MARVELOUS. Keep up the good work! read more

If I could put zero stars I probably would. Wildly overpriced for what you're getting. The rooms are about the same as your typical motel 6 (& extremely dated) with much more expensive rates. They also did not inform me when I booked that they're under major renovation so none of the usual amenities are available. They told us they had to lock the doors at 10 due to renovation so we would have to go out of this side door that had construction rubble in the walkway & the door taped up as if it weren't meant to be used. Zero vending machines in the halls. We were sitting in our beds and had a man working on a scaffold directly outside our window & the curtains won't close all the way. The remotes to the tv don't work so I couldn't get it to change channel. Not even with the buttons on the tv. The tv was also sitting on a piece of cardboard after it had clearly fallen off of a wall mount. The shower/shower curtain was disgusting as well as the cushions on the couch. There were multiple odd stains on the bedding too. I'm so incredibly disappointed in this place and even more so with the practically criminal price I paid for it. read more

Wifi is VERY,VERY bad. Couldn't complete any work. If you have a data plan, you have to continuously check to see if you have wifi, as it cuts in and out. When you do have wifi, it is terrible a loading times are ridiculously slow. read more

Stayed here with a large group for a friend's wedding. The front desk people were kind to my group, and were very accommodating. We threw the bachelorette party in the room, and the front desk clerk had our back ;) ! On the second night they allowed us to change rooms to the bigger one we had reserved for the bridesmaids the night before no problems! The free breakfast was like any free breakfast at a hotel, it was edible but nothing to write home about. The rooms were clean, they came with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Both rooms we stayed at had a couch with a pull out bed. the actual beds were nice!!! they were soft, and linens felt clean...unlike at some hotels where you're kinda afraid to touch that horrid floral quilt, not here you can jump right in! I never got to use the internet so I cannot comment on that, the TVs were big and new if you are into that sort of thing. The indoor pool was eh, kinda yellow looking.... I don't know if it was because of the color of the walls but we still jumped in for awhile! We stayed two nights, and enjoyed our weekend there. read more

The stay was decent, though the price was a lot higher then expected, and the difference in price between weekday and weekend was definitely not expected. $59/$99. Was very unhappy when our time was up though. Did inform the hotel on check-in that would be checking out earlier then the reservation (made through travelocity) stated by a couple days. Was told this wouldn't be a problem and to go through the same to get the refund for the two unused days. When travelocity contacted them to verify our checkout, they refused to verify it, saying we owed for the two days not used. read more
