They had a nautilis, a bench with a good range of dumbbells, two treadmills, a seated bike and cross triner. Towels and water are also available The breakfast bar wasnt too shabby. During the three days I stayed there, little variances were made to the hot food, but whether you enjoyed eggs, cereal or breads you could have it. There was always coffee, but I would ask them to have two carafs on hand as it ran out fast. The TownPlace Suites wasn't a bad stay, but it has everything you need for a nice stay while in Killeen.

We always travel with Clorox wipes and after wiping blood, yuckiness and whatever else the spots, streaks and globs were from the high touch areas we new the room wasn't cleaned! There were half used toiletries in the room and previous guest dirty clothes. And while there weren't many guests, the hotel didn't have a clean room to move us to. Additionally, they didn't have clean towels. We had to use mini-towels. Not a huge deal but neither is doing laundry. The only reason I didn't rate the place 1-star is the front desk staff was pleasant and the place was inexpensive. It is my recommendation that you look for other accommodations. They kept trying to reach out to the hotel directly but the hotel didn't answer but continued to tell me I had to figure it out. Chase confirmed payment was sent. Apparently this isn't the only time the hotel has dealt with this issue so it sounds like it may be their system. Probably look into fixing that and new training for the employees.

A couple of negatives: I managed to scrape my knee multiple times on the mesh desk chair. Gratefully my friends with the three kids had stuff to sooth the scratches and mitigate the sting- as I worried I might be a slurpee buffet to Killeen's mosquitoes. The soap and lotion had a petro-chemical feel and smell- that was a bit off. I know oil is big in Texas- maybe this is the hotel's attempt at keeping things local. There was chipped paint in the bathtub on the grab bar- but the room was otherwise in great condition. Would I stay here again? Definitely. Great value. $160.46 for two nights was incredibly reasonable. I would just need to remember to bring my own soap and lotion and stay away from the desk chair.
