This is a first-rate tree-trimming company. We have an enormous pine tree that belongs to our neighbor, which towers and extends over the corner of our property. The tree badly needed pruning, so we contacted Quality Tree Service based on word-of-mouth recommendations from our neighbors. As soon as I met Lambert, I knew I was dealing with a consummate professional with extensive knowledge. His price was extremely reasonable, and he agreed to do the work, but only after checking with the tree owner to let them know and get their approval. I also learned this from Lambert: when it comes to pruning large trees planted in a neighbor's yard, the correct thing to do is inform them of your plans and ensure everyone is on board. Lambert facilitated all communications, and once everything was set, his crew arrived at our property two days later. To say that we are impressed with their work is an understatement. You have to see the size of this tree to appreciate the job! They started around 7:30 am, and within a matter of an hour, members of Lambert's team could be seen high in the tree anchored by ropes, chainsaws, and tools clipped to their sides. You could barely make them out near the crown of the tree. The tree cutters worked seamlessly with ground-based crew members manning the ropes and clearing the cut branches. Within 4-5 hours, the crew neatly trimmed back the tree and meticulously cleaned all debris from our yard. They were communicative, polite, and highly professional from start to finish. We used the company a couple years ago and were very happy with the results, so when it came time to trim the trees again we chose to hire them again. We got pricing on trimming two trees and removing two. The trimming looked great, and the removal of one tree was done well. However, he then claimed removing the second tree would be too difficult as it was on the inside yard side of the fence (which somehow didn't come to his attention during his inspection and estimate). They did trim the tree and cut down most of it, but did not remove the actual tree and roots like they did with the other one. For this, he brought our price down a mere $50. That was our first indication that we shouldn't use him again, because on the initial estimate he told us the removal was the bulk of the cost. The second came when my husband mowed the lawn a couple weeks later and found out the crew didn't clean up after themselves very well. How did he find this out? When a large chunk of wood shot through the lawn mower and through a bedroom window. A clearly sawed chunk of wood from a trimmed tree, not a random wood piece that fell. He never thought to crawl through the grass to check their clean up, considering we paid them a good amount that should have included that. So now we overpaid for "removal" of two trees that was only one, and are out another couple hundred bucks for the window. We didn't even get an apology or "we'll look better next time." He shrugged and basically said "oh well." (Not that I expected him to cover the cost, but an apology and a promise to check the cleaning policies would've gone a LONG way, even if it was just lip service.) So yeah. This company got hired by Corona palms mobile home to remove trees from our back yard. They broke our cement and then they denied it. Do not trust them. Do not call them. They are the most dishonest company EVER. They trashed my back yard and damaged over $2000 broken cements in my back yard. read more

I have teamed with Lambert and Quality Tree Service for 3 separate jobs. Lambert is a straight forward, fair, hardworking boss who is present for most of the work. He is easy to work with and flexible. The jobs I gave him involved challenging trees that were close to my house, fences and other structures. The stumps that they had to grind out were huge and challenging. The trees they trimmed were done nicely and have filled out properly, without being overgrown. I feel Lambert treated my property like it was his own and he exceeded my expectations each time. I was building a wall after a tree removal, and discovered a tree root in the way. They do a great job trimming trees, however, his crew broke a window on our historical home and he first said he'd pay for the repair then argues with us stating its not from his work! The window was not broken before his crew came to work and I think he's attitude is horrible, he was only willing to take $50 off for his damage! My cost just to replace my window is $108 without installation. And he thought I was trying to take advantage of him, when his work cost me money! "Quality" is under statement. Lambert at Quality Tree Service was recommended to me by my neighbor after complaining to him about getting high quotes on trees and stumps to be removed. Called Lambert and he came by the same day for a quote. The quote was almost half of the average of 4 other quotes. Lambert walked me through the processes of all the work that is going to be done. Ten trees and at least 25 stumps and complete clean up and leaving the logs cut and stacked for fire wood. He also reassured me that he would protect windows and house from the stump grinder. Best of all, you don't pay until the work is completed. How do you go wrong? Sounds too good to be true. But it was... Lambert and crew arrive on time ready to work. No Lollygagging from these guys. Sharpened chains and they were cutting in 15 minutes. The crew was outstanding and very professional. They took the utmost care to protect my house and windows. Zero damage and they were grinding a 3 foot round stump 10 feet away from my bay window. Not a scratch. Had a 16 foot round Eucalyptus that they dropped and chopped with pin point accuracy. Fun to watch. They ground that stump for 4 hours, 3 plus feet into the ground. Amazing! Will actually be able to plant another tree in that spot.
