As much as our granddaughters wanted to hug and snuggle them, they are just not that kind of animal. Brenda has trained some that you can pet on their neck or shoulders and they will eat from your hand. She will set you up with some chow and a lesson on how to feed and what to expect. Tours are early when the Alpaca are hungry and cool. The gift shoppe is wonderful. Something for everyone with great gifts for all seasons. This is not only for kids. I've chaperoned a couple fields trips here and we've attended a couple birthday parties as well. The latest was for a five year old's birthday party and the weather in February was perfect (I could see it being a bit hot in the summer since the sitting/eating area is open door. They do have an air conditioned room you can rent though, we've attended a birthday party in there as well.) The invite said three hours and I thought is this really going to last three hours? It did, it was a jam packed three hours. We saw all types of animals, had a hay ride, picked up chickens, kids rode ponies, and milked a cow. It was fast paced enough that it kept everyone's attention. The farm may not seem big, but they do a fantastic job organizing the group to move from section to section. There was even an outdoor obstacle course that I didn't see before that the kids loved. If you're looking for a fun, organized activity, this is a great option. Both the kids and parents had a blast.

Do not let this very staged before picture fool you, the house had little curb appeal. I wish we had taken a more realistic before picture; it wasn't pretty. Patches of brown grass, dying vegetation, and dirt patches would have been on display. We replaced the dead grass and vegetation with tropical plants that thrive in shade. Plus we removed the old brick boundary around the oak tree with small bushes. Finally we created a beautiful walkway from our sidewalk to driveway. We were very vocal with Henry that we wanted lots of tropical colors present. I will confess that I was slightly demanding throughout the process and Henry responded with the utmost professionalism. As a result, we now have a front yard that far exceeds our expectations. Henry also worked tirelessly to meet our timeframe and budgetary requirements. No need to look for a second quote. I love checking out local markets, roadside stands, and small businesses whenever I can, so I finally made my way over. First thing I see when I pull up: $12.99 for a seeded watermelon. Listen... we're in Florida. I see people selling watermelons off the side of the road for $5-$6 all the time. The seedless ones were $8.99, which somehow made the seeded watermelon price even more surprising. Unless that $12.99 watermelon comes with a guarantee that it's going to be the sweetest, juiciest watermelon of my entire life, I just can't do it. Once I walked around, I was also surprised by the produce selection. I expected a much larger variety, especially for a farmers market. I actually stopped because I needed cabbage and don't remember seeing any. They DO have some really cool local products--grass-fed meats, seafood, juices, goat milk, soaps and other specialty items--and I definitely appreciate the emphasis on local products and supporting local businesses. It's a cute little market and clearly they have plenty of loyal customers because they seem to do very well. For me, though, the prices were just too high across the board. Even seeing bars of soap around $12.99 had me thinking about the goat milk soap I can pick up at the Safety Harbor Sunday Market instead. So this isn't really a "bad review." It's more of a not-for-me review. I've visited quite a few farmers markets and genuinely enjoy shopping local, but part of the appeal for me is finding good local products at reasonable prices. Keystone just didn't hit that mark for me. If shopping local is your priority and you don't mind paying a premium for it, absolutely stop in and check it out. After making an over 2 hour drive from Orlando we are greeted by someone who had clearly already had a long day, asking us to sign waivers. We ask when the pizza will be served because we are incredibly hungry and it was going to be a hot day. They tell us after 1pm because the pizza comes from this amazing pizza place. We are told where the bathroom is and then led to our cabana. What a HUGE disappointment. It's a tailgating canopy with 8 seats and 2 blow up chairs even though it's advertised to sit 12. We were expecting an enclosed private space but we were just in a line of 5 other canopies the exact same size and decor. The only difference was the number of seats. We got to feed baby cows and they took Polaroids of the experience. That was pretty cool. We then got to feed animals and hold baby goats. That was awesome. Around 1:20pm the super Awsome pizza arrived. 2 dominos pizzas. Was this a joke? Dominos??? The pizza was cold and one of them tasted off. 5 minutes after we got the pizza we were asked if everything was okay and I said no, it's cold and it's dominos. The attendant stated that they got dominos because WE said we were hungry. And that they knew for a fact the pizza was hot because it was so hot on their arms. I was taken aback at the rudeness. The attendants then went to a different party cabana and spent most of their time there drinking alcohol with those guests and ignoring us. No one even wished me a happy birthday. What was supposed to be a full 11-5 day, we left at 2:30 it was so bad. I really hope Cowabunga refunds my mom her money. At least half if not more. DO NOT TRAVEL FAR FOR THIS "EXPERIENCE".
