We practiced social distancing from other groups and the baskets used to pick the berries are sanitized after each use. This family owned farm is located north of Tampa (kind of in the middle of nowhere, but the scenic drive and the amazing experience is worth it) in Brooksville, Florida. They truly are open "rain or shine" and one of the owners did not hesitate to offer us an umbrella (as we only had one for the three of us) to use while we picked blackberries. My mom had more fun taking pictures while my fiance and I had fun finding the "perfect" (turns out that I'm "berry" picky) blackberries. Bramble Creek's blackberries are the thornless variety so even when we are going through bunches of plants, we didn't get hurt. We were instructed to only pick the completely black berries, but to see the red and then half-red/half-black berries was a treat in itself since I'd never even seen a blackberry plant before. Blackberry season is winding down, but we definitely plan to return next year!

I have been following them on Facebook, and was so excited to learn about them selling their passion fruit. As soon as I found out they were ready, I had to go. I called the farm and messaged them through Facebook. Passion fruit is available for pick up on Wednesday's between 4-6, and Saturday mornings. You park and make your way to their fields which are their blackberry fields. Right by the parking is actually the passion fruit vines. Once walking by the blackberry fields, You will see a shed where they are stationed. Inside you will find different types of sauces for sale, blackberry jam, and currently their bins in different growth cycles of their passion fruit. Passion fruit are 1.50 each. I bought 15. Passion fruit are ready when they are darker purple and are shriveled up like prunes. I love passion fruit anything and it's hard to find. So happy to come across this local gem!

On instagram we saw beautiful farmland and huge yurt like tents as cabanas with the layouts described on the website. The website not having any photos should've been the first red flag. After making an over 2 hour drive from Orlando we are greeted by someone who had clearly already had a long day, asking us to sign waivers. We ask when the pizza will be served because we are incredibly hungry and it was going to be a hot day. They tell us after 1pm because the pizza comes from this amazing pizza place. We are told where the bathroom is and then led to our cabana. What a HUGE disappointment. It's a tailgating canopy with 8 seats and 2 blow up chairs even though it's advertised to sit 12. We were expecting an enclosed private space but we were just in a line of 5 other canopies the exact same size and decor. The only difference was the number of seats. We got to feed baby cows and they took Polaroids of the experience. That was pretty cool. We then got to feed animals and hold baby goats. That was awesome. Around 1:20pm the super Awsome pizza arrived. 2 dominos pizzas. Was this a joke? Dominos??? The pizza was cold and one of them tasted off. 5 minutes after we got the pizza we were asked if everything was okay and I said no, it's cold and it's dominos. The attendant stated that they got dominos because WE said we were hungry. And that they knew for a fact the pizza was hot because it was so hot on their arms. I was taken aback at the rudeness. The attendants then went to a different party cabana and spent most of their time there drinking alcohol with those guests and ignoring us. No one even wished me a happy birthday. What was supposed to be a full 11-5 day, we left at 2:30 it was so bad. I really hope Cowabunga refunds my mom her money. At least half if not more. DO NOT TRAVEL FAR FOR THIS "EXPERIENCE". I planned to visit another farm but when made it there, found sign on the gate- closed due to COVID-19. Farm across the street was open. That's how i found Owen's. There was plenty of parking spots. Parked, walked to the big open " office" where young lady explained to me and my friends the rules- pick any berries we want, any patch. Water in the fridge available for purchase, potty - for free. Little buckets already lined with plastic bags already waiting for us. In less than an hour all of us gathered 3-4 pounds of fresh juicy berries, soaked up some sun which helped to shake off some of the " home dust". Paid $5/ pound and went back home to bake fresh blueberry pies. Very nice little farm, pleasant people. Will be back foe sure. Up until now they was only on the Facebook, i think they deserve to be on Yelp as well!

BEWARE! READ THIS BEFORE BUYING A PET FROM HERE! The ONLY reason i am giving 2 stars instead of 1…read more(or 0!) is because i love my Napolean kitty from there so much, she is the cutest most wonderful loving good-natured playful snuggly pet in the world!! HOWEVER the proprietor is a dangerous nut. When i was researching catteries to buy a Teacup Cat from, Delco had some in stock while many breeders had already sold out in advance for Xmas, & i fell in love with the pics of my future baby. Delinda (the owner) agreed to fly her to me for $980. Let's get past the fact that i'm evil and get what i deserve for spending a huge amount of $ on a designer cat when i should have just rescued one from death from a shelter; i started saving (for over a year btw) to get a miniature kitten the second i found out that there was such a thing! By some miracle she arrived alive, as she was in transit for 17 hours and the water bottle Delinda had affixed to her carrier had no hole cut in the nipple so no liquid could be sucked out! (Delinda chose this airline and flight.) In preparation for arrival, Delinda sent me specific instructions on how much and what designer organic canned & dry food i needed to stock up on (petstores didn't have it so i ordered online) & a list of supplements to give (bought in quantity to save on shipping charges as Delinda said to keep her on this diet for the 1st year). i felt i should follow her instructions to the letter as she was the breeder. Unfortunately the cat seemed to be sick from the get go. I had a very fancy Vet (read: $500) who makes housecalls come check her out the first week. In addition to needing antibiotics for a respiratory infection, the Vet said the yellow puddles of diarrhea she'd had all week was caused by her diet! She was too old for powdered milk & the supplements should only be used on cats who are seriously sick; the long-term effects of feeding this stuff were that she'd develop vitamin deficiencies if her body adjusted to the constant supplements instead of processing vitamins from food-intake. Vet also told me to stop feeding her all of the designer food as that stuff isn't regulated by the FDA the way that major cat-food companies are, so if there's a bad batch, it's never caught (so there went the $300 of non-returnable internet orders - i donated it all to a shelter btw as they actually have sick rescues that need those supplements...) On stopping the supplements and switching to Purina, her diarrhea improved drastically from yellow puddles of slush to soft light brown piles - not healthy cat poo, but def an improvement. I took her to a regular vet after her resp infection was cured so she could have her shots, & they ran more tests to try to get to the bottom of the diarrhea (as she periodically had blood in her stools). All sorts of tests, antibiotics, probiotics, and deworming treatments were attempted, all with good results for a little while, but problems always returned. AND she is a long-haired cat who got mighty annoyed at having clumped too-soft stools repeatedly washed and combed out of her fluffy hindquarters, not to mention the horrible smell from having dingleberries dragged throughout the house! i was referred to a Vet specializing in internal medicine who ran more exotic tests, & it was finally determined that she had a parasite called Tritrichomonas Foetus. This is only found in cows and felines & is very rare EXCEPT in cats from catteries. Researching TF online commiserated with ALL of the symptoms, and if untreated can cause colon failure! Even more horrific (in addition to all of the Vet bills which by this point total thousands) is that the only treatment for TF is a gnarly antibiotic that can cause brain damage and neurotoxy, & that she'd probably infected my older cat (yes, a rescue) who even without symptoms would likely still be a carrier so would re-infect her if she managed to beat the cure & he'd now also be in danger for a brain damage-causing drug. I informed Delinda to all of this information, asking for my money back to help pay towards all of the treatments as all of the other breeders i'd researched guaranteed their kittens to live for a year, and now BOTH of my cats were in danger of dying. Her entire response to my detailed sob-story was this: "NOne of my cats have this, I dont know where she picked this up from, youve had her 9 months theres no telling she went to another state the transfer could have exposed her to it, ive healthy kittens with no issiuues here" In addition to being cold and callous, it's irresponsible for her not have her flock tested & continue to sell infected pets that cost thousands to diagnose w/a "cure" that could cause brain damage! (The Vet said while she could've caught the resp infection from the flight, there was no way she could have caught TF that way, & yes, she's only ever been an indoor cat. Just got test results back & by some miracle my older cat didn't contract it! Whew!

To inform, not defend…read more I paid over a thousand for a Scottish Fold from Northern California this summer, Plus Airfare for three, my kid went with me, and the Airlines charged $100 to shove Him under the seat. I flew there to get him, we arrived home and went to our Established-Pre Selected Vet. and the Healthy Pet Insurance for $24.(premium policy) per month. He immediately began anti-biotics for an Upper Respratory Infection, the Mid-West is known for high Mold counts due to proximity to the Mississippi River. It took two rounds of anti-biotics to clear it up, meanwhile the ear infection required drops and an injected anti-biotic. Kittens are babies and fragile. They can even become ill from stress caused by relocation. You loved the kitty immediately, the kitty went through trauma, as they all do when separated from the only home and family they know. Finding any illness 9 months after relocating a pet will get you nothing, that is way too long after collection for any Breeder to be held responsible. I'm sorry for your financial loss and for the pains the two pets endured. I truely am. Its understandable to want to yell and complain. It is irresponsible and maybe even liable to pin all your troubles on the Breeder. Proving her responsibility could cost thousands more. You could have rejected the kitten and got a refund, all Breeders would allow this in the first thirty days. They have to. I am not a Breeder nor ever been or will be. I am however, proud to say that I have bought a kitten from Delynda and we both have honored the agreement We Both agreed to. You are faced with a delemma. She has provided me with a perfect Healthy Kitten that passed her Vet check after she arrived. If you love the kitten she created and you Kept, its just like Children, I kept both of mine even though one had many Upper Resp. infections as a little guy, a toncelectomy finally cured the problem. I didn't slam the Doctor who delivered him or complain about the thousands of dollars in Doctor Bills it cost me. You were unprepared in the Vet. department and it cost a bunch, the infections could have come from anywhere, the more time that passes after delivery the less chance you have to point at the Breeder.Nine months later is rediculous. I am offended to hear you say such garbage about a Woman I found to be refreshingly Kind and Quirky. Shame on You! Delynda has me to testify if she chooses to make you prove your allegations in a Court of Law. The internet makes it easy to say anything anyone wants to. The Court System is still in place to hold them responsible for thier Vomitous Eruptions. You have kept the adorable kitten, I suggest you print an appology to Delynda and enjoy the creature she created for you. That is, If the Kitten is Worth it? I think Mine is Worth a lot, it was also already here and in need of a Home, just like the rescue's. I have one Rescue and one Registered-OOPS! the California Breeder never sent My kittens Papers, she thought the Pedigree was sufficient. Does that make her a kitty mill?
