Cost $270.00 for lenses, no frames. They charged my debit card. They called me back and said my lens should have been 212.00 and they would cancel 1st transaction. As of late Monday. My account was charged for both. This caused me to have 79.00 in overdraft fees with regions. Sue Kleindorfer , office manager says they have done nothing wrong and my overdraft fees are mine or my banks problem. There is still no credit to my acct. I told her cancel the lenses refund all my money, because I will not doing business with someone who misused my debit card and caused me stress and hardship. She was reluctant to cancel my lens order. She stated they did everything right, no apology, and said the overdraft fees were my problem. You treat a customer of 26 years like this. You lose my patronage and my children's. 79.00 in overdraft fees is nothing to a successful doctor. However to a single mother it is alot!

I have talked to 3 people at the Collinsville location, including their negligent manager, and I am told they are on back order and they can't do anything. I said I wanted to cancel them and receive a refund and the manager said no. I have had a business for 17 years and never would I tell a client they cannot cancel and receive a refund for a product they haven't even received! They also cannot provide a date when the contacts will arrive! The next step is to go higher up in their food chain to corporate, but I am not confident they will be much better if this is what they are hiring at their stores. I was told by 2 people that the District manager would contact me and that was 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a call. Run quickly away from this place until you want to get ripped off.

Before my appointment, I was sent a plethora of pages to fill out as requested and brought them the morning of my appointment. I, like many people, read the fine print. Upon entering, I had to have a photo taken to load internally to help prevent fraud, which I kindly declined. If you have a credit on your account of $5 or less they expect you to write it off. I wrote, "I want any amount refunded". I also had to submit a credit card to keep on file. "Who in their right mind gives anyone a blank check to charge at any time?". I put a line through that and initialed it. Christy handed me another copy of that page and told me I could not write anything in, that I just had to initial it. She was insistent I initial the Workman's Compensation Form. I declined. She said, "Everyone has to initial it". I'm 70 years old, tell me why. The last straw was when I had to give my SS#. Again I was told, everyone gives their SS#. Christy said it was very secure and I'm thinking, computers are hacked every day. I said "I will leave before giving that information", and Christy's response was "Well, it will probably come to that". I wonder how many people don't read the fine print and don't realize what freewill they give businesses. As someone who has been a victim of credit card fraud more than once and identity theft, there are some things that need protection. Dr. Bell may be a very nice man, I wouldn't know as I couldn't get past the office staff. I have never in my 70 years had to have a mug shot taken upon entering a physician's office. I got the feeling the office staff was more concerned about getting their money than caring for people. First impressions are lasting.
