Within the signed agreement, Terri outlined that she would list our home in the Charlotte market for an additional $495 fee, I agreed to pay this amount at the time. On June 16th I contacted the Charlotte MLS provider named "Canopy MLS" to ask if in fact my home was listed, after searching they notified me that my home was never listed in the Charlotte Market. I reached out to Terri to ask her to remove the $495 fee for services not rendered. She proceeded to challenge me and defended her actions, up to the point of getting her lawyer involved in a coercive effort to silence my findings of gross misconduct and misrepresentation on Terri's behalf. Since my formal complaint, Canopy has sent her a violation letter and fine. However, at this stage in the closing process, I lost the opportunity to suspend and re-list my home, and had to commit to the 6/20/2022 closing date. I was very excited with hopes of receiving more attractive offers from the Charlotte Market, but I was robbed of this opportunity by Terri. If you recently hired Terri for the sale of your home, paid the $495 fee for the additional Charlotte MLS listing, and would like to verify if your home was in fact listed in that market, you can contact Canopy MLS at 704-372-0911 , or simply visit their website at https://www.carolinahome.com/CRRA.Home/Search/Index and manually search for your listing. If you paid the $495 and your home was not listed in the Charlotte MLS, you can ask to be transferred to the Canopy MLS Compliance Department and put in a formal complaint if you wish to do so. Its sad that this is what we have to deal with these days from licensed individuals. I do not recommend using this firm for the sale of your future home.

Having seen how cut throat this industry is, I can honestly say that Tony is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet and he will go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. He is reliable, straight forward and very helpful. He's all about helping his customer find the home they want and helping that dream come true. He doesn't want you to just be ok with it but he wants to make sure you are thrilled with the home of your choice and taken care of the entire process. Not once did I feel like he didn't have my best interest at heart. It's been 1 year since I purchased my home and I've heard from him several times. My family located on the other side of the state and I, have sent others to Tony for home buying needs and every single one of them has raved about Tony. Looking a new home, land, or real estate investment, look no further than Green Haven Realty for all your dream come true needs. Thanks for all you have done for us Tony and for everyone we've sent that you've helped! You're truly one of a kind...

The realtor Vivian W. truly strung me along while she was already working another deal. I first…read morereached out to her directly about a listing she had for one of her seller clients, she provided answers to certain questions (the questions she felt like she wanted to answer), and was very vague when I requested vital information anyone would need if they are seeking to make a offer on a property. She strung me along for 5 days, telling me she hasn't reviewed the leases "yet", then stating she was "out of town", then stating there would be interior images taken of the property taken at a later date and THEN later stating none would be taken due to the units being occupied, and personal property inside. (understandable), However when we tried to view the property she first says that she's the one who will schedule the tour, then she says to schedule through "showingtime". We tried to schedule a showing for the home this week; she declines and tells us we can schedule Tuesday; after trying to do so she then responds stating they accepted an offer already. I've had my realtor reach out daily, and blowing up my realtors phone daily regarding this home, and to me it seems Vivian truly just threw us and our interest/requests on the back burner all while working another deal; and not keeping a open line of communication. I have never ever been treated the way Vivian has treated me during this transaction in the 5 years I've been investing. I thought me having my realtor reach out to her directly it would make a difference; and it made NONE. Vivian is full of BS and totally wasted my time; I passed on other deals waiting to hear back from her; and the false feedback she provided throughout this entire ordeal. I have never done a deal with Allen Tate in the High Point office but if this is the way they conduct business then I truly wish to never do a deal with them ever again. I will be very cautious of any listing I see Allen Tate/Vivian W. attached to. This realtors business practices lets me know she and the firm she works for allows and stands behind the dishonesty, lack of communication, withholding material facts about a property that she's listing, stringing buyers along, etc. Please think twice if you see a home listed by this firm/Vivian W. or if you are interested in her representing you as a seller.

Please learn from my mistakes and save yourself a lot of stress and heartache. The customer service…read moreat Allen Tate High Point is abysmal - that includes their real estate agents AND their loan agents. This is not my first time buying or selling; I had a much much better experience with Coldwell Banker on westover when I first moved to Greensboro. I should have used them again. Or in the future I will probably try Help You Sell (Sale by Owner). When you sell through an agency like Allen Tate, your agent will get thousands of dollars from you (up to 6% of your sale price), so choose very very wisely. Talk to friends/families/co-workers, read reviews ... don't jump into a contract quickly if you can avoid it. For what my agent did for me, it was NOT worth the money. She posted some photos to the MLS, stuck a sign in my yard (but never even invested the time to come back and post an "under contract" sign, so I was still getting driveby traffic asking me about the house), took a few phone calls, showed me a handful of houses, and filled in a couple of contracts. But mostly what she did was threaten, bully, and misinform me through the entire process. Things got so bad that I consulted another agency and a lawyer for advice and ended up calling the Broker in Charge of the High Point office to ask for a different agent (which he didn't accommodate, claiming well she knows the most about the deal right now). My agent was nice only up to the point I signed the contract to work with her. After that, the customer service went downhill fast. 1. I only had a few weeks to find and close on a new house. During that time (October) my agent goes on vacation for a week and a half and refuses to let another agent at the office show me properties in the interim. "It's not good practice," she said, "but I'll be available by phone." She was not available, and ignored my calls and texts. 2. whenever I expressed concerns about anything - the value I was getting, the fact that I didn't want to do certain repairs, that I had concerns about extending due diligence for the buyer, how I wasn't going to have a place to live for 2 weeks and we needed to extend the closing date on my sale -- she would threaten me. Threaten me with, "if you back out, you'll still owe Allen Tate 6%. I dont work for free." Or if you don't to do this or that, the buyer is going to back out. Or if we have to re-list, people are going to know something is wrong and you won't get as much. It makes you feel powerless, like you have no one backing you up. Like you have to agree to everything the buyer and seller wants. Clearly all my agent cared about was closing the deals and getting her commission. 3. When it came time on the flip side for me to ask for repairs on the place I was buying, she yelled at me "you can't ask for that! If it's still working, you can't ask for it." The thing I wanted to ask for was replacement of a 13-year-old water heater that the inspection report said was at the end of its usable life. When I bought my previous home, I did get a $4000 allowance for a very old roof that was not leaking, so what this agent said was a complete lie. The loan process was a separate, terrible experience where I was constantly talked down to. They don't even have the courtesy to set up a time with you to go through forms and talk about what you're signing. They just bombard you with a bunch of emails and then blame you for being late. Then on closing day, the loan agent didn't even have the Closing Disclosure correct so after the hassle of taking off work and sitting through an hour of signing documents, I had to urgently return to the attorney's office to sign corrected forms. Just an all around nightmare. So like I said, please learn from my mistakes.
