In A Nutshell: -Qudos Bank Arena located in Olympic Park, is located just outside Sydney heading towards Parramatta. -I ended up here to see Drake perform during his, worldwide "Boy Meets World Tour". -Drake as usual didn't disappoint, showing lot's of love to Sydney & Australians in general, while flipping through his endless catalog of hits seamlessly. -The arena held 19,000 easily. -The hallways never felt crowded. The men's bathrooms were also never crowded & clean. -The only drawback was the lack of good food being sold. -After being spoiled dining around Sydney, I expected great food options at the arena. The Allphones Theatre is just massive! The speed getting through the doors is fairly quick and organised.I have attended three shows in this theatre and am amazed how the seating is perfect for anyone in any seat. The view of the stage can be seen from all seats and the large screens give that closeness even if you are in seat zzzz. There are several snack bars and light snack cafes. Most places have alcohol. Parking at the parking station is a complete headache, just don't go there. There is a considerable charge and then the wait to get out is over half an hour on a concert night. The train to Olympic Park is the best option and at a reasonable price. There are always extra trains put on the line when there are concerts. read more

Qudos Bank Arena - Blown away - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Sydney, NSW

Allphones Arena is big. Situated out at Olympic Park alongside ANZ Stadium, this arena was built to Olympic proportions. Previously the Acer Arena (many of us still can't shake the name), this venue hosts large scale music gigs, as well as sporting events and expos. Concerts here usually have good sound and the venue caters to both seated and general admission entry. This place can be a bit of a labyrinth, but the staff here are more than happy to help you get to where you need to go. They have elevator attendants who know their way around the arena effortlessly and are able to give you precise and easy to follow directions at your request. Parking is adequate, although you will often have to catch a bus/taxi back to your carpark, depending on which of the five parking bays you are in. Also, traffic out there (via Parramatta Rd) can be hell, so make sure you allow plenty of time to get out to the gig in time (it took me 50 minutes driving there from Leichhardt). There are heaps of taxis hanging out here after an event, but I find that the easiest way of getting to and from Allphones Arena is via the train - Express trains run from Central on the dates of most events. read more

Before our nations leaders initiated phase one of the fascist regime via plandemic (wake up sheeple!) I had the pleasure of seeing P!nk live. At the time I absolutely adored P!nk for donning the dyke butch look whilst still being straight. I was a little close minded, but since then I had the pleasure of meeting and loving Miri.... actually I won't get into that just yet. I'm still healing. Now I would go as far as saying I was P!nks biggest fan. All seemed to be going well, she was spinning in the air (ascending into the heavens & achieving oneness must have been the inspiration behind such choreography) and then she got let down and started Dear Mr President. I won't lie I squealed and may have peed my pants a little. I stood up to sing with my soul sister (how do you sleep while the rest of us cry - gets me every time) and then the man sitting in front of me complained that I was being too loud & smelt of urine. Security escorted me out right when she started singing about whiskey & cocaine! Threw me outside the arena like a criminal! Qudos Bank Arena are silencing us for speaking up and invoking positive change! Wake up sheeple! We're not dumb and we're not blind! My poor kids had to watch their parents get thrown on the kerb. They were silently meditating and chanting outside (hoping to achieve oneness) waiting for the concert to be over, and instead we're exposed to such violence! I spent days realigning their chakras after that - a very confronting & difficult process for children to go through at such young ages! I invited security to come take a walk with me, and pretend that we're just two people, and that I'm not better then him. I offered the olive brand and he couldn't even look me in the eye! This review will talk about 2 things: 1. The Arena itself (interior and experience) 2. The outside of the Arena (post-concert experience) 1. The Arena - 5 stars Nothing was wrong with the Arena. I went there for a Celine Dion concert whilst visiting Sydney. The staff service was good. Signs were placed everywhere so you definitely won't get lost. Audio during the concert was clean and clear. Celine Dion of course did not disappoint. Food places were available everywhere from the first floor up to the very top of the building so you definitely won't get hungry. Sydney people were lively - after the concert there was a DJ playing right by the exit door and there was a mob dancing. It was an absolute thrill! I had a blast! 2. Outside Arena - 2 stars Being a stranger in the land of Sydney, I was expecting a taxi rack to be conveniently located for tourists such as myself. I was wrong. Taxis there are notorious. They turn off their metre and will try to contract a price with you (of course higher than what you would normally pay). I wasn't familiar with the train system of Sydney at that time but there is one located in a walking distance. Luckily, a nice driver turned up and I was able to get back safely. Quick tip: be prepared on how you will go back to your hotel if you ever want to see a concert here. read more

Formerly Acer Arena, this indoor venue kicks ass as a large-scale live music venue. Much better than the Entertainment Centre or the rickety old Hordern. I saw Springsteen here last night, and it worked damn well. Seating on all sides, quite steep, so everyone gets a view. The floor space was great too -- partly because they limit the numbers of people in the general admission section in front of the stage, so there was room to move, and dance! I agree with Rachel, the place is a total maze, but worth finding out about all the entrances - it can save you a lot of waiting. We got here with only about 15 minutes to go before The Boss was scheduled to start (absurdly early - 7.30!), but we still managed to get in, buy beers and food (queues weren't too bad!), and find our way onto the floor, with time left to spare. The sound was decent (although it's no acoustic wonder, but it's fine). The food was fried, but at least it was hot. Getting the train to Sydney Olympic Park can be a bit of a pain, but the trick is to get an express to Lidcombe, and change there. read more

This is a review of the VIP Suites at Allphone Arenas; If you are lucky enough to have access to one of the VIP Suites at Allphone Arenas you will have an exceptional time watching concerts/shows here. The suites are individually decorated and furnished and offer an escape from the mayhem of general admission. One of the best perks for me is having a VIP entrance from Level 4 of the P1 parking which means you skip the queues and checkpoints. This is extremely handy when leaving as you get out straight away and avoid the traffic leaving. Each suite has a host who serves drinks and if you're lucky enough to get the catering package, the food is of exceptional quality. There is a large variety so most tastes are catered for. When it comes time for the show, the suites open up into a balcony with 20 odd seats overlooking the arena. From here you get good views of the main stages and to have ready access to more drinks, what a great way to watch a show! read more

Decent venue for gigs, large enough to have an atmosphere but small enough not to lose sound quality. Food was served hot & quick and was reasonably priced considering. Good access in & out of the stadium as well as quick routes via train into the city. read more

Seats are horrible! Only buy isle seats as you'll have to get 20+ people to stand up and move if you want a drink etc. Massive thumbs down!
