However, we waited a super long time for food which was not great given we had a show to run to. We ordered burgers and a pulled pork sandwich and for the amount of money, they are extremely disappointing. The burgers/sandwiches are smaller than a McDonald's burger which is so sad. The pulled pork itself was kinda dry and the flavor was fine. Fries and tater tots were fine as well. Nothing amazing. Overall, was a little sad with the experience. Overall, this is a nice casual beer hall to watch sports events. The prices are slightly higher for the ambience and service. I would expect the prices to be lower since it's a very casual beer hall. They have 1 liter beer mugs which are their main attraction. During fifa, the atmosphere here was electric. One thing to note is that this is an Argentina fans bar so you might have a hard time if you are not an Argentina supporter. They have decent food options and the cheese curds are my favorite. Where do I start, Im not much for leaving poor reviews but our experience was so bad, it's worth noting. We stopped in on Thursday August 27th at 7pm for dinner as we were going to a concert at Climate Pledge Arena and it was within walking distance. The place was pretty busy, but we wanted to sit at the bar regardless and there were seats. For one, the place it VERY loud when it's busy, not taking a star off of that as that's just the nature of the building. We order 2 pints and dinner, the Fried Chicken Sandwich with tater tots and the monthly burger special with fries which was The Big Kahuna Burger. Here is the pic of the small dried out burger with a small side of fries in a to go bag on a large plate. It was not very warm, small and nothing like the website photo. The fried chicken sandwich was so over cooked, it tasted like it was a day old and also cold. Took one bite and left the rest as it was like eating jerky and just ate the small to go bag of tater tots. I I don't think we've ever been more disappointed in a place to eat, it's hard to imagine that any cook or business would feel proud putting out this meal. read more

Second time here and I tried the OG Smash Tacos with tots and a giant pretzel. The pretzel was one of my favorites, soft, slightly sweet but still salty enough. Stage can be found on the opposite end of entrance. On the backside of the bar you will find a long bar to curl up. In the middle you'll find long wooden tables like in Germany. The bar features beer. If you are not a beer drinker you can get whatever will wet your whistle. One liter of beer cost 21 dollars. A little on the pricey side compare to other places. Went here for happy hour on a weekday--see happy hour portion of menu in pic. Charlie gave us excellent and friendly service. The restaurant really is a hall as u can see from the seating pic--it is a big open space with communal picnic style wooden benches in the middle and some table seating on the sides and near the bar. Tables near the bar must order from the bar and not a server, so we set at a picnic table to get a server. The food started with complimentary pop corn. It was a little stale, but hey it was free and was not too stale. Good enough that we finished it. Then we got the wings, burger, Piña colada, giant pretzel, and beignets. The burger is not standard ground beef but rather a blend of higher quality beef. While the flavoring/condiments on the burger was not the best flavor, it was just ok, the higher quality beef made a big difference in the taste. The pretzel was a little doughy in the middle of the big pieces, but some people like it like that--we prefer more well done. We skipped the cheese sauce like we always do with bar pretzels and went for ranch dressing which was a good choice as always this time. We had a total of 3 Piña coladas. 2 were made by the same bartender and the third by a different one. All were good, but the first two were the best that we have had in decades. The chicken wings were good, but nothing special. Having had beignets at Cafe Dumont in New Orleans, QABH's beignets seemed more like glazed donuts or curlers. They came with 3 dipping sauces: chocolate (Nutella?), Carmel, and berry. The beignets/donuts were not bad, but we only got them cause we were expecting real beignets, so we would not get them again. Overall, this was our best dining experience in Seattle and we would definitely come here again. Definitely give them a try and try to go fit happy hour. It's a solid place to grab a bite before a Climate Pledge event. If you find parking, it can s just a short walk up the hill. I do think it was a bit confusing on what happens when you walk in. We sat down at a spot that was reserved and then the group next to us said the spot was open because the group didn't all show up and they were sitting at the bar now. I wanted to try QA Beer Hall after getting some chicken tenders with the best BBQ sauce I've ever had at The Hall Smashbox at Great Notion. It wasn't super clear where we should have ordered our food and drinks since it was self-seating but we figured out that we had to order at the bar for the area we were sitting. I got a pulled pork sandwich while my partner got a Double Peanut Butter Bacon Smash and a beer. The BBQ sauce in my pulled pork was once again amazing. The crunchy peanut butter was great in my boyfriend's burger, but it tasted pretty one dimensional since we couldn't taste one bit of the blackberry habanero jam that it supposedly came with. The fries were okay, thick/steak cut which in my opinion is the worst fry cut ever and understated, but hot and fresh at least. Our main gripe was the prices we paid. For the prices we paid, we expected the burgers to be more flavorful, the buns a little less limp, and the portion size to be least 25% bigger. I had a very concerning experience at this establishment. A patron openly joked about or discussed spiking people's drinks. I told them that behavior was not acceptable, and in response I was insulted and stereotyped. I immediately brought the situation to management's attention because any comments about tampering with drinks should be taken seriously. What was most troubling was that, after being informed of the situation, management allowed the individual to remain in the bar. Regardless of whether the comments were intended as a joke, discussions about drugging drinks create an unsafe environment for patrons and should be addressed immediately. I understand that bars deal with difficult situations regularly, but customer safety should be the highest priority. Seeing management choose not to remove someone after receiving a report like this left me with little confidence that safety concerns are taken seriously here. I hope ownership reviews how situations involving threats, harassment, or comments about drink tampering are handled in the future. read more

I went here with some friends on a Friday evening after work to chill and we were welcomed with a quite traditional, open air space with plenty of seats, so this is excellent for a large group setting. As we went around 5pm, it was still happy hour (M-F 3-6pm) so we took advantage of that. We got the giant pretzel and the smashburger with fries, both of which were $8 each. We also got 2 kinds of beer 0.5L for $6 each, which is also a pretty solid price (1L is $10), only the beers listed in the happy hour section. 5/5 for the price, but food is quite mediocre. The giant pretzel was soft and chewy, which is good, but the smashburger is closer to a fast food burger chain here and the fries were kind of soggy. But these two dishes filled us up quite a bit for 2 people and we ended up not able to finish the giant pretzel, so there is a large quantity of food. Beer is not really my thing so I can't write it off as good or bad, but I still tried it because this is a beer hall after all; I just wouldn't actively go out of my way for these places. Open and airy, with cool long tables, perfect for the biggest groups! The service was a little touch and go... I think they were prepping for an event. Visiting Seattle for the first time I was thrilled to find a beer hall right next door. And it was showing the NBA Finals featuring my beloved home state team, the OKC Thunder. Considering the contentious relationship Seattle has with the Thunder, I found it necessary to zip up my jacket over my SGA Thunder t-shirt as I was surrounded by Pacers fans at my communal table. Jenna provided personable and excellent service. The BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, Bratwurst Dog and IPAs were delicious. What a fun place with lots of energy, great service and tasty menu.
