Now it is open to walk ins. It is a very bright, spacious, and modern space. I perused some of the aisles, but it will take me a while to find everything, which is OK (I love time spent just wandering a library). The staff is very helpful, and anxious to assist patrons. Masks are still needed and they have blocked off some seating for social distancing, but otherwise, it is back to business as usual. Hurray!

Each has great explanations and descriptions of the featured work. My only "complaint" is the restricted access to all of the library's levels except a few aisles on the ground floor. I'd have truly loved to explore more of this architectural gem with its abundance of literary and historic treasures. For those that do have access, I hope they appreciate the incredible privilege they have.

After that, there's another song, and the leader talks about the months, weeks, days, the weather outside, and what season it is. I may have missed 1-2 things in there It's really well organized and enjoyable -- a wonderful place for families and little ones to learn and have fun together. The life of a reseller is busy. I was approached by a worker who had apparently already counted my books that I had set off to the side. She said, "you have almost reached your limit". I had been purchasing books online through thrift retailers, but a friend suggested borrowing them from the library instead to save money. After browsing the library's website, I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide selection of newly released memoirs available. I'm now saving a significant amount, and the three-week borrowing period is generous--especially with the option to renew if there are no holds. The library itself is spacious, bright, and very welcoming. While I haven't fully explored it yet, it appears to have dedicated areas for children and teens. In addition to books, I noticed they offer DVDs and have far more computers than I remember from the library I used to visit in Montgomery County decades ago. The staff I interacted with while setting up my library account and locating newly released memoirs were both knowledgeable and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also appreciate the convenient exterior features, including a book drop located right out front and a parking lot with an awning that provides coverage for cars. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with what this library has to offer and the welcoming service I've received so far.

This is my favorite branch in the HC library system. Freshly remodeled, they have opened up the…read morespace and added more PCs and reading areas. A good selection of titles with various formats available although CDs are no longer available at this branch. That said, you can request a CD hold for pickup at the Abingdon branch. They will also order/request items they don't carry in the Harford County system from Baltimore for example. Also nice to be have the option to pick up your reserve items at the window. Most of the branches are open Sundays from October to April. I've always had a great experience with all of the staff at the various branches.
