I was looking for a place to get my brows done and I went here because the reviews on yelp were fairly good. I got my brows waxed on Friday, October 13th. The wax was a little hot but that's wax. I normally get my brows threaded at Wink in Snellville. Throughout the day Friday my right eyelid kept hurting. I thought that's because I just got a wax and it will be better tomorrow. Saturday morning, the 14th, I woke up and looked in the mirror to a scab. I had a wedding to get ready for that started at 4pm. She burned my skin and probably did not pull the strip correctly. I had a hair appt at 9am so after that I went back to show her what she did to my eye. I showed her mom, who was at the front desk, and she called her daughter (the owner but I can't recall her name) to the front. She ultimately apologized but also made so many excuses. I told her I want you to see this and make sure it does not get worse or infected due to bacteria. She looked at me like that doesn't happen. She says it will only get infected if bacteria is introduced to it like bacteria could not have been present in her wax. She went on to try to explain that it will heal like a scratch and proceeded to explain to me how a scratch will heal. I had to stop her because I work in healthcare and you are not about to talk to me like I'm stupid. I told her this never happened before but I don't get waxed often I normally get threaded. She says you get threaded cause you have sensitive skin. I'm like what? No I don't have sensitive skin. How are you gonna tell me that the skin I have been living in for 34 years is all of a sudden sensitive. Then she says I had a reaction to the wax. No! This is no allergic reaction. You burnt me cause the wax was too hot. I got my brows waxed in the morning when she first opened so it was probably heating up and too hot. As an esthetician you should know about wax temperatures. We kept going back and forth but I just had to show her her work. The brows were a very nice shape so that's my reason for the second star in this review. She did not offer a refund, future discount or any type of compensation. I left annoyed because I did not have time for this poor customer service. I will not be back to this establishment. I ended up putting concealer on to hide it when I did my makeup for the wedding. Today is Tuesday, the 17th, the scab wiped off this morning as I washed my face. Between Saturday and Tuesday morning it was an ugly scab that got darker.
