    Egg Sandwich and Cappuccino
    Victoria M.

My friend and I came here after going to a local farmers market and absolutely loved it! There's even a super cute book store attached to the cafe and I think it's a perfect place to work remotely. Our drinks and food came out quickly and all of the staff were super nice! We got the egg breakfast sandwiches which were delicioussss but definitely fell apart as we ate them. Presentation though is like 1000 out of ten. Will definitely be back here!

Been coming here for a few months. A very nice, surprisingly large space. Friendly staff, quality coffee & espresso. Service is as to be expected as far as wait time. There's a quiet comfort to this place. You kinda get taken in and wanna relax and chill out, which you can do between the table seating, bar style seating, & couches. The coffee portion is the front & the book store portion is the back. A very chill vibe throughout. A nice stop. Metered street parking only.

Honey Oat Latte (at the top) Pistachio Latte and an Almond Croissant

Very cute! Ordered a pistachio latte, honey oat latte, and an almond croissant. The iced coffee was just sweet enough not to over the top and also not bitter. The vibe of the cafe was very welcoming chill/calm connecting to a bookstore with a variety of different books to purchase. The barista was very kind and quick with the order. Will be visiting again for sure!

I first came here during the pandemic and only grabbed coffee to go. This week I was finally able to revisit, and wow--what a difference. They renovated the interior and added a bookstore, which makes the space feel really cozy and inviting. The service was great and the coffee was excellent. I had two lattes: a specialty latte that was perfectly sweet, and a regular oat latte that was fantastic too. For food, I got an egg sandwich with a hash brown inside--so good. The egg was super fluffy and I loved it. My partner had the salmon toast, which was delicious as well. Definitely coming back!

What a great addition to Plainfield. It seems like it should be in a more uppity area but maybe it will help out the city a little bit. It's so cute when you walk inside with comfy seating on a couch, large table , and even stools at the window. Beautiful interior. Great concept with it being attached to a bookstore which has great seating as well. Onto my beverage and food now, lol. I ordered an iced mocha mint latte as it is winter and I'm still in the mood for mint. Got the last of the blueberry cheese danishes which was so yummy. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't offer skim milk but you can't have everything, can you? I opened for oat which I am just getting into now. It is very tasty and smooth. Just enough mocha and mint. Definitely will be back for real menu items of food.

Honey oat lattes with a dash of cinnamon

For those of you looking for good quality coffee and espresso, add this place to your list! Hands down one of the best (if not the best) iced lattes I have had. The espresso is so smooth that you don't even need any sweetener (though their honey oat is literally perfection). Their seasonal drinks are also unique and delicious. The staff is so nice and friendly and it has the perfect coffee shop ambiance. They even sometimes have pop up vendors selling cute trinkets as well as events (open mic night, etc.) Highly, highly recommend! The owner and his family are very kind people :)

Love this cute cozy place and the art it displays. I'm also really excited they're opening a location in Clifton! The staff is kinds. I had Turkish eggs in pita the last time I was there as well as their autumn latte but I've had other lattes and it is yum and it hit the spot. I also love they have a halal menu like a halal BLT and other items. Plus they have pastries. I also love that they ETHICALLY source their coffee! One small step for tummy one great step for the world.

Lovely space and friendly staff. Got a latte and espresso. Bringing some Papua New Guinea beans home for grinding.

This was by far one of the best coffee experiences I have had in a while. We went in not really knowing what to order or what to expect. I am going to guess that the woman taking our order was the owner and if she was she was so pleasant and helpful. The coffee and the brunch items she suggested were extremely delicious and mouthwatering. The place was cozy, well lit and decorated. We will definitely come back to this coffee shop and hopefully get some other great suggestions.

I found Queen City on social media and was excited to unlock a new cafe in New Jersey! I admit that the surrounding area is not the nicest, but Queen City Coffee Roasters was truly a gem. There is street parking available nearby and the vibe of the cafe was so cute. There was ample seating and I ended up staying for a little to get work done. I got a latte and was pleasantly surprised by the latte art. I would definitely consider coming back!

Cinnamon roll and a cup of black coffee.

Hi. I am chelle. I am a coffee snob. I love coffee. GOOD coffee. I seek it out wherever my travels take me. This time I landed in NJ to visit family and found this gem day 2. Being from Cincinnati, OH, aka The Queen City, I knew I had to go to a place named Queen City Coffee Roasters and was not disappointed. The interior is bright and welcoming... complete with an exposed brick wall. Mellow coffee shop music plays in the background. First, the coffee is legit. Very well roasted. Smooth. Bursting with flavor. I got an iced Spanish latte during my first visit. It's made with condensed milk and cinnamon.... I loved it. During my second visit I got a regular cup of drip coffee with a cinnamon roll. The coffee is smooth and has some fruity undertones. Yum! Oh, and the cinnamon roll was perfectly flaky. Glad I snagged the last one. I should also mention the baristas are very friendly and efficient!! All in all it's definitely worth a visit!!!

It isn't posted on the main board or at the counter, so we actually missed it at first since it was toward the back wall. The pastries are at the front so we ended up getting a spinach and feta pastry. Overall, it's a solid spot to check out if you're in the area!

This was my second visit, and once again, everyone was incredibly patient and nice. The atmosphere is bright yet cozy, they have plenty of books and a lot of room to catch up with friends or settle in for some work. This time around, we tried the Coco Cloud Matcha. If you enjoy fun and funky beverages, this is a must; it's a blend of coconut water and matcha that somehow tastes sweet and milky while remaining both rich and refreshing. I'm not sure how they pull it off, but I'm obsessed! If you prefer a more traditional option, the Strawberry Matcha is a decadent choice, I love that you can actually taste the fresh strawberry compote. We also had the Tres Leches Coffee, which featured a perfect balance of creaminess and bold espresso notes. We ordered it hot this time, and while I personally find it ideal iced, it's wonderful that it works so well both ways. For treats, we chose the Dulce de Leche cake. While the sponge wasn't quite as moist as I expected, the overall flavor was superb, especially with the addition of the meringue. To balance the sweetness with something salty, we added a savory spinach and feta pastry. Definitely ask for it to be heated for the best experience! Not pictured, but equally noteworthy, were the empanadas. They offer both beef and chicken, served with a delicious green cilantro sauce.
