When I arrived I was greeted by very friendly teachers and staff that welcomed me with open arms and directed me to Mrs. Phillips one of the head administrator. She gave me a tour of the academy then escorted to a state of the art auditorium to prepare for my presentation. The Tech team was hands on with the equipment and slides I needed for my presentation and the students were delightful and very attentive. I found NSCA to be a great school with lots of potential. There were a few takeaways from my visit at Northside Christian Academy: the school immaculately clean and well maintained, the students were well behaved and the faculty and staff were kind, warm and inviting. The campus is huge and they offer lots of options for students to be successful well beyond graduation but also life.

We could not wear flip-flops, and on Fridays when we had casual day, we had to adhere to very strict clothing policies and if we violated them, our parents would be called and they would have to bring a change of clothes for us. If you're looking for a Christian-based school in which your children will be taught Christian principles, this is the ideal place for you. We had Bible study every day as a class and we attend a chapel once a week. I did feel that NCA had prepared me adequately for my next level of education. AP classes were offered for more advanced students. Administration, staff, and teachers always addressed and handled issues To the best of their ability.

I have been impressed with the curriculum for my three-year-old adopted granddaughter. I pick her up from daycare frequently each week, and the teachers always give me an update on her day and her progress. They, along with director Sonya and the jack-of-all-trades, Miss Bee, are extremely professional and friendly. I do not think you could go wrong entrusting your child to these folks.

The guides we worked with were all excellent. The administration and corporate people are liars and…read morethieves. We left the school in August 2025 and have yet to receive our deposit refund in April 2026. We have had several people promise us that the accounting team is "working hard to process all refunds" & have yet to get anything more than empty promises & the runaround. We have resorted to hiring an attorney to sue them for breach of contract since they have far exceeded the time stated for processing our refund. If you care about your money, take your child somewhere else.
