For instance, I found some "Melissa & Doug" toys and ended up buying one for an upcoming birthday present. It was a rug with a race track laid out on it and it came with four race cars. We have two family members currently into gnomes and this shop had a lot of variety in the gnome department. One we purchased was a girl gnome because it had pigtails. I had not seen that before. Another we purchased was a "soft" gnome. Both will be gifts when we get back home.

I wanted a dress but couldn't decide on one. The store meanders back through various rooms packed neatly with dresses. There is a room of house plants and chimes. A lady was buying a second set of chimes for her yard. Whimsical garden decor is outside. Near the check-out counter are locally made handmade soaps. The clerk is friendly, but lets you shop at your own pace. There are try-on rooms available, but no public restroom. If you're lucky you can find free street parking nearby, otherwise there is a lot with $5 spaces.

There were a lot of cute little jewelry for women, my friend and I. We visited this store and beaches could not get enough of their necklaces in every of their earrings for kids and nice cardigans and a lot of other selection of products. The customer service was amazing. They explained everything that we needed to know. They also had a locally made hand lotions with awesome different smells. I was itching to buy all of them but finally didn't do that. Their price range starts from moderate.

There isn't a lot of room to get around especially if someone is blocking the aisle. And each section is loaded with so much stuff that it takes awhile to view it all. I like that the furniture is locally crafted in Brown County and that local woods are used. And they even delivered my furniture up to Zionsville. Today, I stopped in the showroom to see what was new. I fell in love with the hickory rockers and matching pieces. Not only is the furniture beautiful, it's solid and well made. They also have a line of outdoor furniture that is so comfortable that I didn't want to get out. The clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are in line with what I see from imported options. If you want quality (artisan) made, solid wood furniture, and shop local, I highly recommend Peter Grant's.

The…read morereason I am giving it a two star though, is EVERY-TIME we visit... and I mean every time, they owner, or her employee that always seems to be working when we come, is on the phone when we come in and rants on the phone the entire time we are shopping. She does not greet us, doesn't ask if she can help or if we need help, NOTHING.... we stopped by today and I walked through the door to her 1. On the phone (what a surprise), 2. stuffing food in her mouth. I said "hello" when I walked in because she looked right at me then proceeded to stuff more food in her mouth and rant on the phone. I looked around for a few minutes but left without purchasing anything just in pure annoyance. I enjoy seeing what new clothing items she gets in her store, but the hospitality needs a bit of work.
