Great service! Sailor vibes! Prefer the cocktails over the food. Tried the white fish dip but it was too runny for me. The clam chowder was fine but the cocktails were unique and balanced. The caviar and chips were my favorite bar bite.

Queen Mary is a marintime themed bar in wicker park. I really enjoyed the drinks and food but we were eating out the patio and felt like we were forgotten. We also had asked the heaters to be turned on multiple times and our request got ignored. Other than that a great happy hour spot to get drinks and snacks.

Queen mary! We are not worthy! The bad news? I didnt order one of their famous martinis. The good news? I absolutely guzzled one of their famous enzonis! A nice charcuterie spread, good company, good service, good lighting(!!!!), and good liquor. I cannot think of anything more important in life. A super fun spot with a classics based cocktail menu with some inventive offerings. Their charcuterie is superb as well. A really fun spot for a snack and drinks to kick start date night or a night on the town. Inversely, a beautiful home for a nightcap as well!

A gem in Ukrainian Village; feel-good vibes, excellent cocktails, and a cool dive-bar soul. I went here for the happy hour on Monday which offers oysters, small bites and $9 martinis Quite small but worth it. Good service and excellent food - only served on Sunday and mondays from my understandings. If you love cocktails you must give a try

First of all, our server Nikos was so amazing and I know how stressful it is to work a day when there are special menu items. The aesthetic of Queen Mary is incredible, it's giving Robert Egger's The Lighthouse but without the mental escapades between R. Pattz and Willem DaFoe. I grew up with a dad who was very into the Great Lakes so give me a hint of shipwreck or pub and I'm so in. Anyway, less about me, the food here on the special Sunday Raw Bar menu is just incredible. I think the pricing is very fair for the work that goes into the preparation of oysters. If you've never almost stabbed yourself trying to shuck an oyster even with a glove, you'd know the folks in the back shucking deserve all of the praise and money for their hard work. I highly recommend the clam chowder, it was one of my favorite items of the meal. The pickled oysters were another "do not miss" as the flavor was the sea, elevated. I think the Queen Mary shines in its adaptability within the seasons. It's a bar people talk about as being great for summer, and it was absolutely cozy in the 20 degree weather I went in.

Dirty martinis here are excellent. Love the smaller glasses with remaining drink waiting for you on ice on the side.

I like the cut of this bars jib. I like rum. I like the English nautical vibe in the design. Got the daily grog. A cable car which isn't on the menu but they were able to execute well because they have so many runs and bartenders that know what they're doing. Also got a pour of Guadeloupe rum.

Hottest day of the year, party of three, two open booths, and we were refused to be seated because in the moment they said it's "policy" to save booths for larger parties. No other parties waiting to be seated. Happy hour denied!

I love the vibes and music here!! However I was disappointed when I found out most of the cocktails are premade not made from scratch given how the place presents itself. Nevertheless, cocktails were still good. Service was okay, our first bartender was hella standoffish and then we got another girl (with a buzz cut) she was really dope!

This is my 2nd to last stop seeking out the places "worlds 50 best bar" has mentioned or awarded. While most of the choices has been lackluster they're probably worth visiting once if you're not a complete snob regarding cocktails. Place was slightly above average but not worth a return visit. Drinks are balanced well, food menu could use more choices & service is also above average. A drink I did research from the menu was no longer available & while I felt they should've made it anyway this is becoming a common nuisance.

Great cocktails and super chill vibe. The bar is double sided and the staff is super helpful and come around often. The seating is very limited and booths are reserved for groups of four or more. Next time I'll have to try the food.

Came here on a Sunday for their happy hour around 5:45 and it was already packed. We waited for a few min and were led to their bar space which was super cute. They had us sit across from each other which was a fun experience. Oysters were yummy and fresh and shrimp was shrimp. We also got their classic gin martinis and those tasted exactly what I expected it to taste like. So no surprises and the vibes were great.

What a cute spot! I would recommend getting there at 5 as it fills up! It's a double sided bar which is nice! Service was great! Very friendly and quick! I got a glass of rose which was perfect! The marinated olives were sooooooo good! The oysters were good, but I'm not sure they were worth the price. $3 during happy hour is steep compared to other places. The shrimp cocktail was great, but again pricey for happy hour.

We watched our waitress make multiple attempts to pick up my husband's drink from the bar, spill, set it down, pick it back up and spill more, and finally give up and run it to us. As she set down this sticky, wet, under-filled mess, I asked her exactly how much of my husband's $16 cocktail she had just spilled. She said, "Yeah, the bartender over-poured," and walked off. We then watched her do the exact same thing to every mixed drink she ran. Way, way too expensive to be delivering messy, dripping, quarter-empty cocktails. It was no wonder when we arrived that there was a line out the door. We waited around 45 minutes, and the bouncer was a really nice fellow who kept track of the numbers and people at the door. Upon entering, we were immersed in a dimly lit retro-style lounge. It was quite loud inside and packed as we walked to our seats. The server was great at taking our orders and offering suggestions. I opted for the French 75, which featured sparkling wine and mixed gin, brandies, and citrus. The drink was delicious, but STRONG. I don't know what they put in the cocktails in America, but I am always finished after one drink. Needless to say, we were all struggling to finish our own drinks. My favourite touch was the coasters, I ended up keeping all of them so that I can reuse them at my galentines event next year. The 'bisous' with the kiss on the other side is a perfect touch! I think the drinks are fairly priced for USD. I would love to return someday to try other drinks and bar bites, and also try their sister bar, Sparrow.

Imagine my shock when we didn't even make it past the bouncer because he was so rude, AS OTHER RECENT REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED AS WELL! We had dinner nearby and walked to Bisous after, and saw there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside. We expected this as we knew Bisous is a first come, first serve bar. We were curious what the wait time would look like, so we approached the front door to ask a host or employee inside (we assumed there'd be a desk with an employee working it who could give us a wait time). We had no problem waiting, just wanted to see how long they estimated it would be! Before we could even fully open the door, the bouncer swung the door open from the other side and hit me with the door. I stumbled back a few steps and he looked at us and said, and I quote, "What do you want?". I laughed at first because I thought he was joking and putting on a tough guy act. He was not. We quickly explained we just wanted to see what the wait time was, and he said "don't you see there's a line outside?" We said yes, and explained we just wanted to know a rough estimated wait time. He just blankly stared at us while ushering us out. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer-service roles for a very, very long time. This encounter was not only extremely rude and unprofessional, but he also hit me hard enough with the door to send me stumbling back, and then said nothing about it and continued to address us in a tone that was nothing less than annoyed and irritated. We didn't end up going inside because that encounter left such a bad taste in our mouths. I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that don't treat their customers with the bare minimum respect they deserve! Bummed we didn't get to experience it, as I'm sure it was lovely inside and I can only hope the rest of the employees were much more kind and accommodating, or at least able to answer a simple question. Fire your "bouncer" (??) and hire someone with some basic customer service and communication skills!!
