We came here for the Sparkling Tasting NYE Prep and had such a great experience. We tasted 12 different wines, and the distributors were extremely knowledgeable! We learned a lot about fermentation and even discovered something new, especially with the pét-nats. The staff were friendly and genuinely enjoyable to talk to, and the event was very well organized. I also loved the atmosphere, cozy with a modern touch. After the tasting, we stopped by the bar and ordered a glass similar to our favorite wine from the tasting, and it was delicious. The bartender was very attentive as well. We also tried the cheese platter and it was amazing, the seed crackers with the cheese and apricot jam paired perfectly together. What a fun place to spend a Sunday afternoon @ Easy Does It! Mind you, I was the oldest person there by 100 years (I'm prone to exaggerate) but my #3 son was there with his significant and me and my wife just like being with them. Apparently Easy Does It have these "Once a Month" Sunday themed events that really packs them in: Paella Night Weintoberfest celebrating German Wines We were at their 5 Year Anniversary with DJ's and a ton of food These gatherings are pretty damn cool - The wines they serve are very good and we had plates and plates of very good oysters on ice. Showed up for friends birthday party tonight. Immediately as I walked into the line the fat bouncer told me to leave. So confused, but as he explained he said he saw me finishing my drink entirely down the street and that he wouldn't let me in for that reason (Keep in mind my first drink of the night and truthfully was completely sober). How does this have any implications on the business? Even though I had politely asked to reconsider, he doubled down on the insults and rude attitude. I stayed the bigger man, did not get angry, and simply left with a portion of our group to another bar. He's on such a power trip trying to impress his bum friends who were keeping him company and smoking outside the front door. When your first interaction with a place is a guy that treats customers like they're getting into the most prestigious club in Chicago, it takes away any future interest for me to want to go there. They need to get rid of this guy. I've actually had some fun times here last year but I remember having another bad experience with him then too. We had a group of 30+ people, most of whom were already inside. I told them about our experience today and will advise my friends to go elsewhere next time. read more

Heard about the thursday wine tastings and decided to try this place out with a couple friends. Totally loved it! We came for the b-side oregon wine tasting, and our guide was a very silly yet intellectual man who led us on a perfect tasting experience. He really hyped up each of the areas where these wines were coming from and drew from his personal knowledge of these sort of small-business growers and their methods. We got to try six wines for $10 per person, with pretty good sized pours. I tried an orange wine skin-contact pinos gris named tomato ramato, and was very impressed. The back patio seating was awesome, with plenty of space. Easy does it was also hosting a birria taco pop-up at the same time, so got to enjoy some tacos for dinner. We came to East Does It with a small group and had a scheduled wine tasting. The staff was friendly and did a great job. We tried 6 different wines. They brought them out one at a time, told us a bit about the winery it came from, how it was made, and what it tastes like. It was educational, but also pretty casual and not too intense. All of the wine was fantastic and our guide did an excellent job taking care of us. They served us at our own pace and ensured we had a great time. The location itself is very cool. You know... I wish I could say that this spot was a perfect venue for a Sunday afternoon date... but my date didn't show. Sat around drinking wine on the happy hour menu and chilling with the staff. The focus here is on natural wines, which have minimal intervention and can be quite unorthodox - very different animals than organic or biodynamic wines, although they can share similar qualities. These wines bring the funk and effervescent tartness (though not in the same wines). There is also a small selection of curated cocktails, of which the Stirred is a standout. With cognac, rum, rye, Averna and coffee liquor, your black heart will be pulsating! They can also make most classic cocktails. Service is friendly, and the space is very fun. The indoors is a maze of rooms and bars, with a stage for local bands - we heard some excellent free jazz during the last half of our recent visit. In the summer there is a massive patio out back. The indoors is on the second floor and to my delight, it is accessible via an elevator. We will return again and again. read more

Easy Does It is one of my favorite summer patio spots in Logan Square. The patio area is spacious and really relaxed- there's some sun protection but be sure to ask for that if you need it. The drink selection is always changing and has something for everyone. Right now they have Makku available, which is a really interesting Korean rice based beverage, and I also really enjoyed the frozen rose to cool down. I've had a great selection of ciders here as well including some unique hard to find ones. The staff are really nice although you don't interact with them a lot because everything is done through the QR codes at the table. They're really attentive with making sure you have enough water and everything you need, though. One final note- the busyness level can vary widely here so I recommend always making a reservation just in case. read more
