I found this place on yelp and I read through most of the reviews before deciding to book for two. I'm so glad I did because my husband said it was the best massage he's ever gotten and I totally agree. We had Elsa and Amy, these two are absolutely the best. While at a conference in Long Beach, I thought I would give Queen Massage a try. I had an appointment, and arrived a few mintues early, but was taken right in. My therapist was Jenny, and she was very good. She was responsive to my requests, and when my hour was up, she asked if I would like to have more time? Since I only paid $40. for the first hour, I gladly paid an additional $20. for the 90 minute session. This place offers legitimate massages at a reasonable price. It was clean, and they have a receptionist so the therapist are not constantly running out of the room. I will certainly return when in the area again. read more

This is a great place to get a cheep full body reflexology massage. You get your own separate room unlike other places where it's a community room. It's a bit loud since all the walls are thin. I have not written many Yelp reviews, but my most experience at Queen Massage was not a good one & I feel the need to give some feedback. I called in advance & scheduled a 90 minute massage. I was not feeling well & thought a massage would help me relax. The massage was ok (not the best one I've ever had). But I could not relax because of all the noise (people talking, etc.). The walls of the rooms do not go all the way to the ceiling. So you can hear everything that is going on inside of Queen Massage. You can hear the masseuses slapping the backs of the customers when finishing a massage. Then there was a man getting a massage in another "room" that would not stop talking & his masseuse just kept giggling. No telling what he was saying to her (nor do I want to know). It kind of made me uncomfortable. I could also hear employees talking in the back room. It was all very distracting & NOT RELAXING! I finished my massage & went to the lobby where I was met by my masseuse & the receptionist. I gave the masseuse an $8 tip (13% of $60) since I was not completely satisfied with my experience. The masseuse starts talking to the receptionist (in Vietnamese?). The receptionist tells me that I have to pay a $10 tip because the masseuse "she worked hard & she's tired." I looked at the receptionist and asked, "Since when are you required to pay a tip? I wasn't completely satisfied. There was a lot of noise & talking. It was not at all relaxing." The receptionist said that she will tell the owner (which I doubt). I handed the masseuse the additional $2. She took it & walked away. Then I left. A tip (gratuity) is defined as a sum of money given to someone as a reward for their service. If you are not completely satisfied with the services provided, you should not be required (or pressured) to give a tip! read more

2 stars because the person I came with did actually like it. We had a couples massage and they mostly just did my back. The masseuse I had didn't even touch my feet. Whole body massage, I would assume they would atleast TOUCH your feet. They didn't do much work on my shoulders which I also didn't like. I complained to the front desk and the lady didn't even offer me anything, she just said "sorry". We left tip only for my girlfriends masseuse and the lady at the front desk almost flipped out. They have a set tip for the times you are being massaged, and it seems like if you don't tip that, they get upset. read more

This was my 2nd time coming and today I received the best massage from Lily! It was so perfect!! I'm still on cloud nine from it. It's possibly better than some of the spa massages I've gotten. I love that they give you a little tray with a cookie, a tiny candy and water. Also it's pretty clean, including the bathroom. Overall I feel super comfortable. Very very good massage. Made a same day appointment for 4 of us and they were able to accommodate all of us. 1 started 10 minutes later but it wasn't too bad. They will ask if you want soft medium or hard pressure. They might step on your back (I'm assuming for bigger people). We did an hour full body massage. They really did head to toe. While visiting my in-laws, my husband & I decided to get a massage after a few stressful days. We got the full hour massage for $40 each (pricing clearly displayed on their menu). At the end of our session, we were going to tip each masseuse $5 each but they wanted more of a tip & asked for $10 EACH?!? WTF! Who puts their own price on a tip? & a 25% tip at that. Isn't it up to the customer what they tip? We were so stunned/confused when the lady said "more pay" (her English was limited). No signs anywhere about a mandatory tip. If that was the case, then why not just charge $50 for an hour massage? One of the ladies took the money & harshly put it on the counter, visibly upset. Won't be returning. read more

I visited the Queen Massage four times for four separate sessions - two one-hour sessions and two two-hour sessions within a duration of three consecutive weeks. I was quite amazed with the first three visits given that the masseurs new exactly what they were doing and attended well to the areas of my back and neck. After my visit today, I was a bit frustrated with my assigned masseur after my two-hour session. I tipped her 18% ($15.00) and my bill was $80.00. I am well aware that the standard tip for a massage(s) is 20% whereas in my case would be $16.00. What disappointed me the most was that my masseur did not inquire if my massage session was ok but sarcastically stated "is this all my tip for two hours?" Out of decency, I gave her another $5.00 which totaled to a 25% tip. I could have argued for my dollar in comparison to the services received but I figured that since majority of my visits have been very positive, why let one bad egg spoil the pot of soup. There were two other staff members present during this time and I'm sure that with this review, the management will surely resolve this. read more

Don't go there and be so happy you are getting a cheap massage and then not even tip $15%. That would be $6.00. Don't insult them by handing them $5.00 Where can you even walk into a massage place, and get quality massage for 40? Spas start at $60. Those girls are working hard for hours so be generous.
