I was a little concerned at first, when I noticed I was sharing my treatment room with two other customers. But everyone was very quiet and I was able to relax -- and practically fell asleep! The session starts with a very thorough scalp analysis. Which was interesting. I was happy to see that my hair and scalp are in very good condition. (I'm told I'm not that's not the case with all customers.) I also appreciated that they did not use this appointment as an opportunity to pressure or upsell me on products or treatments. Tiffany and Them are really amazing at what they do. I was so relaxed and came out looking like a new person. I followed her after care and let scabs fall off naturally -- one of them is more depressed than the others and all have a chicken pox scar like ring that is highly emphasized with makeup. I was told I would have hyperpigmentation for 3-6 months which I wasn't worried about because that can be covered with makeup but now have to deal with this and am significantly less confident than I was before coming in and paying for this. Atrophic scars are mostly permanent, nothing gets rid of them completely and they can only be reduced in appearance with LONG TERM at home treatment. In office treatments that show quick results like chemical peels are expensive, and filler is also a very costly maintenance with no permanent solution. She offered to do veins on my face and I'm so glad I declined. Just love yourself and if you want to "fix" something about yourself always - always go to a professional like a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Don't do something that can potentially make things worse. My moles were fairly flat and now I have a much more annoying issue. I know I will have to see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for this in the future if I'm not satisfied by at most a year of at home treatment -- for now I'm being diligent with retinol + Vitamin C and AHA BHA hoping for an improvement in 6 months to a year. Usually tret or other topical forms of vitamin A would be prescribed for this issue before more invasive and costly treatments like chemical peels and filler are recommended so that's all i can do. Especially as someone who can't afford to get $900 filler every 6 months or year. fingers crossed. anyways! beware

My experience for the 30 minute you are in your clothes and be prepared. Your clothes may get wet but nothing a blow dryer can't fix. My coworker and I enjoyed the herbal tea solution they rinse your hair with and we have grown to enjoy their herbal scents. The staff had such delicate hands, ahh just writing this I can still remember the feeling of the session. We did go when it was still new, but I still have it on my list to come back for the one hour session.

She would have to take my mom first then she would call up another worker to do my sister, then I would go last. But we took it anyway! I totally appreciated her willingness to accommodate us. When we got there, we found ourselves in a plaza surrounded by many other Asian establishments (we later learned we were in Chinatown!). It made me very happy to visit considering a girl from Hawai'i like me moving to Texas was a big culture shock. Being around Asians made me feel at home. We were greeted by Lois and she began right away! She had another worker come in later to do my sisters' facial (her name was Lily) and again we appreciated their kindness and care as they gave my sister a different facial more suited for her skin type. We opted for a $68/hour facial which ended up being the most peaceful and relaxing facial I've had. When it was my turn, I basically melted in my bed as Lois took care of me. During the facial she would tell me what to expect as she placed each product on my face and then she would check in on whether I was okay. When I awoke later, she showed me my face and I swear I went a complete shade lighter! She touched me up really good.
