Told me $30 for an acrylic set, not a terrible price. So i went in as a walk in and was sat quickly. I was told to stop moving when i informed the nail tech he was hurting me (i get my nails done a lot, they don't normally hurt). But i powered through because they looked nice. I got them a little long but not long enough to be charged extra, i also asked for an almond shape. The nail tech waited until after he put on the acrylic, to inform me that he was going to charge me $50 not $30. Said an extra $10 for the shape and extra $10 for the length. I was mad but at that point there was nothing i could do, I'm willing to spend a good amount on good work but that's only if i know ahead of time what i'm walking into. During the whole process he kept saying "don't break them" which was confusing because as i said before, i've had my nails done a bunch and never broken a nail/ had someone tell me that. After he filed them down i realized how insanely thin the acrylic was, looked nice but i was worried about them being brittle. i was worried for a good reason. 2 of them snapped in half in my sleep, i was upset because $50 plus a tip is a lot to have breakage in a day. So i called to set up an appointment for them to fix it, no biggie. Well the next day more broke, so at that point i was just over it and asked for a refund, i went up there and asked but i was told i could come in today (02/17/2020) for a full refund as long as i had my receipt, since the manager wasn't there. So i called up today to confirm he was there and that i could receive my refund. He told me i was lying and no one said that because they do not issue refunds. at this point i'm pretty upset because i got my nails done 4 days ago and all of them have fallen off/broken off. He said my only option was to come back and have the same person fix it, which is an obvious no go when he was the one who messed them up in the first place. I was called an idiot for that. This was my first time in this salon and I won't be back. I had a pedicure and powder dip nails done. I did have an appointment, and was served immediately, so that was nice. I chose the standard pedicure. The tech was obviously in a hurry, and seemed distracted. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. Even with the standard pedicure, some of the luxury things you expect were done so quickly that I didn't even know it was being done. It was over before I knew it. Same tech for the powder dip nails. Again, rushed and distracted. He took a few phone calls while he was doing my nails. He did not take the time to do my nails well, and they look sloppy. Uneven color, odd shape, some waviness to several nails, with messy edges. Not what I would expect. There was pain involved in both the pedicure and the nails. I've had enough experience with both of these services to know that doesn't have to happen. I wouldn't recommend Queen Nails, and I won't be back. read more

I had acrylic nails put on here about 2 months ago. Every time I went for a fill, they would sand off the original acrylics and put on brand new ones, charging me over 85$ each time. I only did this twice. Went in today to have them removed and gel french tips due to wanting to give my nails a rest. The technician proceeded to peel these from my original nail instead of soaking or filing/sanding down. Needless to say, this was very painful. I endured until he finished. I will not be back to this salon. Also, their tools are in "sterilizer" peel packs but are not sterilized as the color on the package was never changed. BEWARE!!! read more

I had never been here before and as my first experience, it was an excellent one. I went in for a mani/pedi and did not have to wait at all. I was greeted as soon as I stepped foot inside and the atmosphere was very relaxing. This place was exactly what I was looking for and the service was great. Camie took care of my manicure and pedicure. She did a great job and was very friendly and engaging. I enjoyed the entire time I was there and it had a lot to do with the excellent customer service I received! Thanks for everything Camie! It was well worth the money! The man that helped me was rude and disrespectful. I asked him for one thing and got the complete opposite. I asked for a cute rainbow pastel and i got two corals, and two teals then one dark blue thumb. Once I asked him for the colors i wanted he laughed at me and proceeded to make fun of me for no reason. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have gone to Queen nails for quite some time to get my nails done. I believe that they provide the service faster and the quality of my nail job is better than most other local salons. If I have a nail break within the first week or so of the service I will go in and they will fix it free. Typically it's a first come, first serve but you can make an appt. However, I like that I can walk in whenever it's convenient for me. I have also gotten pedicures at Queen and they do a good job. The salon appears to be neat and clean. read more

I am very disappointed! We asked for the simple pedicure. They kept badgering us for more services. In the end they got there money anyway because we were over charged for a very simple design. And the painted design weren't worth the extra charge.. And we paid 99 $ for a 25 $ service! Won't make this mistake again! read more

Was here on a girls trip wanted to get our nails done this was the only place close with more than 3 stars. Queen's Nails was recommended to us by the ladies who did the hair and make-up for our daughter's wedding, but it wasn't their first choice. Unfortunately I couldn't get in their first choice. I wish I could write a review for each technician at Queen Nails. Five of us went there to have mani-pedis the day before the wedding. Four of the technicians were excellent and their manicures and pedicures were lovely. Kevin was my technician. He grimaced when he saw my hammer toes. He trimmed and filed my nails a bit and trimmed my cuticles. When he put the color I had selected on I realized I had made a mistake and asked for another one. You would have thought I had slapped him in the face. He motioned for me to go to the color section. Fortunately Kayla, the receptionist, very patiently helped me pick out the perfect color. Kevin repainted my toes. They looked nice. The manicure was roughly done. Before he painted my nails he asked to be paid and I did. I also gave him money for a tip and asked him to split it with the other technicians. He secretively gave some of the money to the guy next to him and put the rest in his pocket. Hopefully he shared later. He motioned me towards the drying table which was full. He never checked to see if my nails were dry or not. Five hours later...the polish was off one of my fingers. By the wedding, three of my nails had no polish. And...he left my toenails rough enough that one of them poked a hole in my Spanx hose which ran. Yep, I walked down the aisle with my daughter with a big runner in my hose. I don't live in Paducah so hopefully I won't have to go there again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Please do not ever go to this place. It is just awful. I just recently moved to Paducah and have been to this salon about 5 times. No one is ever friendly or accommodating. I have always paid $20 for an acrylic fill and $2 for a trim. Mike did my nails today and I asked him to cut them and he said "no...next time". I was like....umm ok....he spend about 10 minutes doing my nails which have always taken about 45-50 minutes to do. No letting me wash my hands like all salons do and no cleaning under nails. I was just so upset and frustrated. I have never had a nail tech tell me they would not cut my nails. Then the kicker is the ending.....after 10 minutes of doing my nails he says that will be $25. I said "WHAT".....it's always $20 or $22 with a trim. He said your nails are too long so I charge you more. This place is not reputable and charge what they feel. I will be reporting them. My friend had the same experience here with the same guy...."Mike". The salon I went to in Texas and North Carolina always took about 50 minutes to do a proper acrylic fill and they also offered a drink and were so so friendly.
