How this salon ever got bad customer service reviews is beyond me. I called on a Saturday morning, they booked my appt for that same day. Walking in, my husband and I were BOTH referred to by our names the entire time we were there! They were so kind, personable and my husband said "I've never felt so comfortable in a nail salon". Amy knew I wanted dip, called me to her table and explained something to me called "Gel X". I truly could NOT be happier with the nail services I received. I am a huge fan of Queen Nails! The décor in the salon is very modern. They keep the salon very clean. They also use sterilized tools each time you get a service done. The first time I went, Amy, I believe she is the manager, asked for my name, offered me a drink, and introduced me to my nail tech. My nail technician was Jennifer, she was fabulous. She took her time on every nail and she took pride in her work. When I went back again, Jennifer was busy, but another tech did my pedicure. Once again, my nail tech was in no rush and took his time, and I was very happy with the results. I brought a friend with the second time, and she loved it too! Came here twice since it was convenient. Both times they were able to take me within 15 minutes. Both times I had same nail tech doing my pedicure , and on my second visit that same person did my manicure. Both times the nail tech was rushing throughout the whole thing. I asked her why she didn't soak my nails in a water bowl like nail salons usually do , she said it was because she used cuticle softener. That didn't really work that great because she managed to nick me three times. She didn't push my cuticles back and had to keep cutting my cuticles the entire time she was applying polish. At the end of it all she applied cuticle oil to my entire hand (no lotion) and I had to wash my hands off before leaving since they were so oily. Toe nails are cut really uneven. Overall not a very relaxing experience. I gave four stars because the other nail tech I had last time was good and took his time. He was really nice. They have a lot of color options. I'll make sure to request a specific nail tech next time. read more

Update: a few days after my review, my right thumb started to aggressively itch and tingle awkwardly. Due to a crazy work schedule, I was unable to go to the doctor, but I started soaking my swollen and irritated thumb. Finally went to the doctor and discovered it's a nail infection that I got from their manicure. So an antibiotic scrip and $35 later, I'm still reeling from the effects of that mani. Now I definitely will not go back. And I plan on letting them know ASAP. read more

If I could give NO STARS I WOULD! I was on time but I had an important phone call to make so I was outside on my phone and then came in as soon as my call was over. I didn't have a second to call them and let know because everything happened so fast. My appointment was at 4. At 4:06 they're texting me telling me that I'm late! Are you kidding me?! And this was my 1st time even being a few minutes late! Life is life! Damn cut people some slack! If feels more like boot camp than a nail salon where you're supposed to go and pamper yourself and relax! Then when I walk in the manager Amy was all loud in front of everybody trying to bust me out about being a few minutes late! Who does that?! Not to mention most places give you a few minutes grace period. It's not our fault as a consumer if they are short handed or have money issues or whatever is going on with them! Sometimes things happen in life that we have no control of. However, you don't treat people poorly because of it. How rude and unprofessional to outright embarrass PAYING CUSTOMERS! So they missed out on money for being stupid with a customer for being a few minutes late! Not to mention I was starting to go there regularly and bringing my daughter and I was never late! And I do not have to explain myself to any of them! How dare you! I have friends that have gone there too and have said the same thing about their unprofessional and rude behavior. Yes, you found it! This is your new regular spot for your mani and pedi! Unfortunately for me, I can only enjoy the services at this establishment when I visit and I am not a resident of Aurora. Let me tell you why you need to give this place a try! First, the ambiance! It is so feminine, classy, chic and clean! Sorry, I could not just pick one or two descriptions for it! The crystal like chandeliers, the pillars, the massage chairs, everything about the environment was done right. Simply walking in the door makes you feel like you are about to be treated like royalty, which you will be. They even offer drink services-- WINNING! second, the customer service was top notch. We were immediately greeted,asked to sign in and pick a nail color. We sat in the waiting area for no more than 5 minutes prior to being asked to go to a massage chair in the back for a pedicure. The staff were not entirely engaging during the pedicure, but that's fine. Third, the quality of the service rendered. My nail tech was very thorough in the services she provided. She did not miss cleaning one part of my toe nail, ensured my cuticles were intact, massaged my legs and feet and my nail polish was flawless! After completing my pedicure she did my manicure at a table in the front part of the shop. She was a lot more engaging once we were at the manicure table. She even educated me on proper nail care. I honestly look forward to my next visit to the area and will make sure this place is on the "ourtinerary". A little advice, this place has a steady flow of customers. The staff does recommend making an appointment to ensure that you are not waiting for extended periods of time!!! It was very expensive (double anywhere else I've ever been) BUT I will say it was one of the best manicure I have had in a very long time when it came to cuticle cutting. Disappointed to say the least, went in for a dip with tip about a week ago. Was charged 70 with 5$ tip. They were initially charging me 85 because I asked that 2 nails on each hand have a marble design. If you're part of the earlier generation. I would go elsewhere. This salon is not in tune with its pricing. If you want to go somewhere that's going to give you a great price and leave your nails looking amazing and last about 3 weeks go to jazza nails. My daughter came here on January 9, 2022 and a male technician did her nails. It took three hours from start to finish. Granted they were very busy and she was a walk in, but the nail technician put too much beads on her nails which caused the gel dip to drip all over her hands. Therefore he had to do the whole set all over again. And now this is the result just four days later. See the picture. A horrible job. Nice technician but he did a horrible job. We came in there on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 just two days after the service and was told if we want a whole new set we would have to pay for that. My daughter was so through and she did not want to have him do her nails and so we just left and we are going to another salon and will never come back to this salon again. I have spent thousands of dollars here, and overall really enjoyed getting my nails done here. However in the past 2 years they have gotten extremely cheep. They both do a great job with nails, but they treat their clients terribly. They have mistreated me, and they I have watched them mistreat so many of their loyal customers. I went for my first time last week and was pleasantly surprised. I love my nails! I had broken all my nails before coming in so I got extensions then dip and also designs on 2 nails. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and this salon has exceeded all expectations. I'm glad I FINALLY found somewhere that does a great job, and that constantly makes sure you're okay during the process. Amy and Lynn are such sweethearts and the staff all does an amazing job!
