I brought my handicap mother here for a manicure and a pedicure. We have been here before for the same services. After taking a person who walked in after us who stated she did not have an appointment BEFORE waiting on us, the owner allowed my mother to pick out a nail color for her no chip manicure that had the matching color for the pedicure. She then said to get her manicure first as the girl who normally did her was pregnant and a different person would be doing the pedicure. Then she stated that they would NOT do the pedicure as it was too hard to transfer her into the pedicure chair. This was not true. On previous visits I did the transfer without ANY help from anyone who worked at this salon. Called to make an appointment and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. I called back and asked for his name and asked to speak to a manager and Lena answered. She said she was the owner and I didn't need to speak with a manager. I was trying to tell her the the man who answered was extremely rude and unprofessional but to my surprise so was she. I could not get a word in, at no point did she even attempt to listen to me. She's extremely rude and unprofessional which doesn't surprise me why her employees behave the same way. when I tried to say something she would say " I don't care" and the rest of the staff was laughing in the background. I had a great first experience. My daughter made the appointment for my first dip nail process as she has been there before. They were friendly and did a nice job. I'm seeing reviews of rudeness but this was not my experience at all. I am patient when speaking with people if English is not necessarily their first language. They spoke among themselves during my visit in a language they were comfortable with, but another reviewer said they talked and laughed about the customer. I wonder how one would know that. This place does a wonderful job with my nails but what's the point of nice nails if it doesn't come with good service? All they did the entire time I was there was talk about me and talk to the other workers. And they over charge you for EVERYTHING. Don't come here unless you want to feel like you're being talked about. Also I tried to make conversation but they looked at me like I was crazy. UPDATE: I got charged again for something they didn't tell me about. The owner is terrible. This the the last time I come here. Another UPDATE: I recently made a post about this nail salon and after I made the post my mom continued to go there because she does like the workers and I mean they're very good at what they do they're just not really good at the customer service anyways they had told my mom about my review and were criticizing me and asking why her daughter would do that....if somebody posts on yelp you don't go and criticize that person especially to their mother it's just common sense once again another reason to not go there. read more

I came in as a walk in about half an hour before closing. If your in a rush I would rather not get my nails done than have my nails that I paid for last a total of three days. I got a no chip manicure in a soft pink color. The application was rushed and she got paint on my fingers. No complaints there that happens often, the problems started when I got home. I noticed the coverage was minimal. The next day I go to put on my shoe and a crack and my nail along with the polish chips off. Okay the very next day the polish starts peeling off. I walked in the guy at the front desk said go wash your hands and sit and pick out your color. I'm sitting and a girl said come to the end seat for your pedicure. I just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. I will NEVER come here again. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment, I was made to wait over a half hour to even get started on my gel manicure, upon which time I chose the cat's eye polish and was told "10 dollar more". I agreed but in my head, as a business owner myself, how bad the customer service was here and no apology for making me wait so long and I HAD an appointment. The girl who did gel manicure kept telling me how short my nails were and asking if I wanted to add length... I had to of said "no" at least 3 times before she stopped asking. I don't like fake nails... and yeah... real nails tend to be shorter than acrylics!!!!! It's not rocket science. The entire time I was getting my manicure the nail techs were speaking to each other in their language so no one could understand. It's fucking rude to do that in any type of business or situation. Way to make your customers feel uncomfortable... not cool. I won't be coming back here, I'd stay away from here. I'll be going back to Cosmos in Glen Ellyn, it's a drive for me but at least they're friendly, abide by their appointments and don't talk shit about you when you're sitting less than a foot away. read more

She broke my middle finger nail and still added a whole bunch of power on it... look at picture Today I went in as a walk in to this nail place. Now I've been there only once and Lena did my nails the first time and I was super pleased. So today I thought to come back and get my nails filled. I wanted a gel fill and no chip polish. I was a walk in so I did have to wait some time before I got my nails "done" which I was patient because I was a walk in. Unfortunately Lena was with other customers so I had to have some other nail tech do my nails, she has like an obnoxious fat blonde streak in her hair in the middle. Can't miss it. She begins by taking my nail polish off with the electric tool (spin brush) but first of all she was going so fast it felt like she was BURNING my nails. I'm not even over exaggerating the heat I was feeling on them. I had told her that and she kinda just laughed and ignored it. She also had caught some of my skin on the side of my nail, I had pulled away as soon as she did that and she apologized so I let it slide. No big deal. But she was doing it so fast that she was making mistake after mistake. She was using this one spin head and it was almost like it was sand paper, she was going so fast with it that she had split where my real nail and the gel tip was. So she had to take them off and mind you she didn't apply a new fake tip. She just put the gel powder over my actual nail. The whole point of fake nails and acrylic powder and gel power is to have the tip. If I wanted just a basic manicure I would of asked for that. So she finally filled my nails with the gel powder and she began to use the spin brush to smooth the edges of my nails and to make them even and to cut the cuticles. Not sure how it happened but again because she was going so fast with the tool she managed to cut my finger so deep not only did it draw blood, she thought it would be a great idea to spray some alcohol on it as soon as she did it. Imagine how much burning that was. I was so upset and I explained to her she needed to slow down because she keeps cutting me. Again she laughed (snickered) and continued to do my nails. The last straw was when she was on my other hand and did it again. I lost it. I got up and left. I've never been so upset and outraged in my entire life. Especially over nails. But come on, she was already trying to charge me 45$ for the fill and I wanted chrome polish. Needless to say I didn't let her paint my nails or anything. I got up and went to another nail salon down the street. They were appalled because of how messed up my nails were and that she kept cutting me. I almost left in tears it hurt so bad. I'll be going to this new salon instead of Bella Bella. Please to anyone who reads this take this into consideration. Not professional at all, and no one should have to pay to be hurt. read more

Will never go back to this place. I live close by and had given them 2 chances in the past. Twice for pedis and more recently for both a no chip mani and a pedi. Service is awful and their work even worst. I actually timed the pedi. Within 10 minutes the owner (who was doing it) was painting my toes. Even a worst job on the mani. Very disappointed. I had a no chip manicure. An hour after my appt it chipped! I went back to have them fix it. The first lady had put regular nail polish on me. The second lady took it off by using the electric buffer. It thinned out my nail and she didn't bother even getting it smooth. She just painted the no-chip right on top of it. It's been 2 weeks now and my nails are ruined, she didn't take it off properly. I'm ticked off. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Justin is great to his customers and throw in little perks like paraffin wax for free in the winter time which is very nice and useful. The hand and feet massages are Wonderful and you wish they did full body massages! I got a wax and the woman was on the phone the entire time! Even put it on speaker phone. She never went back over the areas that were waxed with the tweezers, so now I get to go home and basically do her job. Crappiest wax job ever. read more

I actually drive over a half hour to get my nails done at Bella Bella when I have a nail salon 5 minutes from my house. I always have Wendy do my nails because she does a perfect job every time and pays close attention to detail. I always feel pampered here and leave with a smile on my face when I see my finished nails. I am a big fan of the dipped nails and have never had such long nails as I do now after using the dipping! I highly recommend this salon and especially Wendy to do your dipped or no chip nails! read more

I would give ZERO stars if I could. This place is so unprofessional. I personally waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for a pedicure . They made fun of a customer after she walked out because the lady waited over an hour and they never said that the wait would be that long. The nail tech/owner argued with the customer about it and the whole salon was LAUGHING at this woman upon her walking out the door. Not okay. I have gotten my nails done before, and although it's not always comfortable, this has never happened. A few of my nails were filed in a slant instead of straight and he left nail polish on my skin, making it look like I just did my own nails. He then charged me the full $45! RIP OFF! I went in to Bella Bella Nails to get my very first full set of acrylic nails. I asked about the price and they told me it would $50 for a full set. I told them I thought it would be cheaper but they told me "No, if you want full set, it's $50. Then if you come back for filler it's only $35." So I reluctantly agreed since I was already there. (Stupid). The nails were ok but the guy doing my nails cut my finger and said I must have cut it before I got there! WHAT! I went home but the price thing still bothered me, so the next day I called and asked "How much for a full set of acrylic nails?" I was told TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS! When I told them I was just in yesterday and paid FIFTY she pretended like she couldn't understand me and handed the phone to a customer to talk to me!
