If you are looking for beautiful nails at a reasonable price this is where you need to go. They do an amazing job at making sure the nails are even and perfectly polished, this is my personal priority when getting a manicure and I won't go anywhere else. If you are looking for a calm spa/retreat this is not going to be for you, the place is small and the smell of nails is strong, they dont crack a window. There aren't tv's by the manicure tables. They all speak perfect English except for one woman, they will understand what you want and will do it as perfect as they can - for me that's all I can ask for for their price. Plain shellac manicure is 16$ - I don't think I have ever seen a price so low and well done/sanitary. read more

I got my nails done back in June for my high school grad & prom. I was really impressed with the end result and couldn't stop looking at them! Queen Nails was my first time getting my nails done at a salon, as I always do them myself, but I wanted something really special for prom and graduation. I wanted nude stiletto nails, but not too long, and that's what I got! The only negative thing was that halfway through my nails getting done, my nail lady (young, and spoke perfect English) had to go do someone else's nails and a new lady started working on my nails - and she didn't speak English very well. It was somewhat awkward and hard to understand what she was saying. But I feel like that didn't take a lot away from my overall experience and both women did an excellent job on my nails! I was scared of them breaking off, but they stayed on for a LONG time. I got them done around June 25th, and I finally had to take them all off somewhere around July 24th.. that's a long time! I work on a farm/ranch, so you can understand why I was worried about them coming off after prom. They held up really well and finally one nail ripped when I was working with a horse who pulled a lead rope so hard to the point it broke my nail. That was 3+ weeks after they were done. If I had grabbed the lead a different way, the nails would've been perfect for weeks longer. I'm really impressed with this place, and when I need my nails done for a big event again, I will definitely be coming back here. read more

First off, I've never felt compelled to leave a yelp review, but felt I needed to share my experience at Queen Nails on Montreal Rd. I'm getting married on Saturday and since I live in Toronto and couldn't go to my usual spot, figured I'd join one of my bridesmaids who had heard good things about this place. I was rudely greeted by the woman doing my pedicure. To be fair, I was 15 minutes late because I had not anticipated such terrible traffic. Fine, a bit of sass is no biggie, probably deserved it. My feet are dry and crack easily. She scrubbed my feet and put something on them that absolutely burned. I woke up today and my toes are sticking together because they're all cut up and literally crusty and yellow. I think my toes are infected. So gross. Then I get shellac manicure. The second woman is so combative and argumentative. I go to pay and the shellac on my middle fingernail is literally peeling off. This stuff is supposed to be super strong and last weeks, I hadn't even walked five feet. I tell the woman it's peeling and I'm worried because my wedding is in a couple days and obviously worried about the quality of my entire manicure. She's snappy saying I hit that finger, that's what caused it -- total attitude! Honestly, I've never received such poor and hostile service at a nail salon, I've also never had shellac that "rubbed off" my nails, especially same day. I have no time left, wedding in two days and I'll have to go get my nails redone (with a burning infection on my foot). So so so not impressed. read more

Customer service is more important to me than pretty nails. As a business owner in the service industry myself, I go above and beyond for my clients as they are the number one reason my business is running. I had an appointment booked for today for over a month for my vacation. The person doing who was supposed to do my nails did not show up for work. It is cold and I understand car trouble but catch a bus or grab a cab or at least ADVISE YOUR CLIENTS THAT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT OR TRY TO ACCOMMODATE THEM. I showed up and was completely blown off and was extremely rude to. I hold customer service extremely to heart and if I could go below zero stars, I would. I am ETREMELY disappointed and will be adamant on recommending people NOT to go there. Obviously, I will never be going back myself. Your talent can easily be found elsewhere. Ok nail salon. A little dingy. Excellent English spoken. I wouldn't say she was friendly but she was fine enough Delicate touch. No radio or tv visible from pedi chairs so bring something to do. Gloves and sanitizer in use. Personal supplies box available. Excellent touch with removing the dry skin on my heals. While drying they put on some horrible prison show that was violent and offensive. I had to edit and reduce my review. Horrible choice on their part. read more

I haven't even been to this place but got a good referral from a friend. Just talking on the phone to whoever answered made me change my mind and hang up. First of all, the girl who answered didn't even say " Queen nails" so I had to ask if this was the place and she answered disgustingly. Second of all, she made it seem like she was even disgusted to make me and appointment and told me to come in the following week and when I asked her for specific dates she gave me attitude!!! I'm a first time customer to this place, and too bad they won't be getting my business just because of their rude and snobby receptionist! So disappointed! read more

HORRIBLE NAILS. BAD SERVICE. OVER CHARGING CUSTOMERS. This my second time at queen nails and Hated it just as much as the first time.. Very ugly and crooked nails. and very disrespectful service. They are a stuck up family who do not show any respect towards customers, they look at you as a price tag when you walk in. No greetings, no smiles. Just ugly rude faces. Saw this salon posted on Narcity.. Not sure why. We had a horrible experience at this dirty nail salon, the woman looked genuinely annoyed that she had to do our nails, so rude and unfriendly, the bathroom in filthy, just gross. Got a shellac manicure, she was so rough that my fingers were hurting, the colour was not the same as it was on the sample nail, I asked for navy blue and got a bright blue shade, asked for a new colour and she used the electric sander tool to remove the first polish nearly ruining my nails and thinning them almost down to the skin. The second colour was also not the same as the sample! I just said forget it, left with my nails half blue and painful, ruined and thin as paper, cuticles felt like they were about to bleed. AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE! $30 for a 'manicure' I had to go straight to another salon and pay again to have them fixed/polished as we had an event this weekend. NEVER AGAIN. I will go to higher end salons only from now on. Do not go here .. go to literally any other cheap Asian salon in the city. read more
