I made a donation of $2, got my bad coffee and sat in the open, quiet space of the Meeting Grounds for about an hour reading my book. When I was there, there were three older men who were having a Bible study discussion and there were two guys who must live in the area who stopped in to grab coffee and then promptly left. I felt comfortable being there, taking some photos, minding my business, doing my thing, despite the kind of odd surroundings. The room is big and this would be a perfect little spot for a group to meet or book club to gather. They have snacks and other simple coffee drinks, but those are available for sale during the non-library hours I believe. The Meeting Grounds itself is open to the public from 8AM-8PM, according to the sign at the door. The church itself seems part hippie revival/part lazily renovated/part historically cool.
