When I walked in a patron had her daughter in a pleated skirt that fit her too big, lil girl is about a 5th grader or so. The woman rendering service said something along the lines of I can't do it bcs it will change the skirt, something about an elastic, it was tough to understand her. All she wanted was for the skirt to be reduced, cut perhaps. She insisted she couldn't do it. As I stood there witnessing this I thought, why is she here calling this business "alternations" when she couldn't do what this patron was asking. What sucks is you're in a community that obviously you have a negative bias towards, which is part of the clientele... Mom and child left defeated . I almost left too... I really needed the alteration. Although Kathy did my alteration which was a simple closure on a dress, she wouldn't work on the other dress that needed a zipper replacement. She did a good job on the closure unfortunately I don't recommend this place. Hard to communicate and customer service just isn't there. And no official ticket for service it was on a notepad. Should I not be disappointed bcs it's in this plaza, idk first time here.

I told the lady what I wanted and she said yes I can do it. I went to pick up my dress day of the party, went home tried on the dress and the slit was totally off. It was two layers and they did not match up. Total mess day of party! I took the dress back and showed her what she did wrong and I asked her if she could fix it, left the dress came back later that day took it home tried it on again. And she didn't do anything to it, plus didn't even offer a refund. She should pf just told me that she couldnt do it. I should have know when some lady came to pick up and he told her that her stuff wasn't ready that he was regular to that. I Dropped off some tees I needed shortened on 10/24/25 and now it's 11/3/25 and he hasn't even touched them. The problem isn't that they're not done, the problem is that he gave me a date (Thursday) and he didn't touch them, drove all the way here and he promised they'll be done the next day (Friday). Decided to call to make sure and he still didn't touch them, had to remind him again what they were. He promised that he will have them done Saturday, which was the next day. I told him he can have them till Monday because I didn't want to drive out of my way again since the shop is near my job and so he didn't feel pressured. I showed up right now and he had them behind a bunch of other stuff completely untouched. I asked him if I can just have them back and he threw them and said "I've been so busy I'm not gonna make excuses" then brushed me off like I wasn't there. I understand being busy especially this time of the year but, but being super unorganized and rude isn't the way to go. It's not my fault your place is so unorganized. Anyways, if you want to make a bunch of trips to pick up unfinished items or be given the run around with rude attitude.... Then this is your place.
