My nail tech Crystal is literally the best. I'm hesitant to even post this because I never want her to be too full to fit me in, I just won't get my nails done if she doesn't do them. She listens to all my crazy requests and is willing to try anything I bring her. We have great conversations and I love love love going to see her! In town visiting...stopped in around 11 am and this place was bustling. That's always a good sign. The outside looks a bit tacky but the inside was very nice. The chairs are some of the best I've Sat in and in good condition. Plenty of mani pedí stations. I ended up scheduling an appt later in the day. When I returned a couple hours later it was not as busy but picked up again as I was leaving. They offer beer, wine, champagne and water for free. The prices are above average to me (gel mani and deluxe pedí $80). My salon at home is $5 cheaper and they do parafin no extra charge for all manis and the massage is better for both mani/pedí. The young lady I had was very sweet and conversation was good. I wish my cuticles were worked on better but overall she did well. This place deserves more than 2-3 stars so hopefully more people will provide positive feedback so people won't assume this place is terrible due to the yelp rating. read more

I went in sort of embarrassed because someone had stepped on my toe and it was coming off. I asked if I could get a pedicure and see if they would possible fixed it or do something to make it look normal again. To my shocked, she fixed it and made it look brand new again!!!! I was there 3 weeks ago with my mom and baby for my birthday. The lady acted like she didn't want to be bothered and was rude about me having my baby with me, even though he slept the whole time. I got acrylic with tips. 2 of the tips were the wrong size and the one she put on my pinky was super crooked. she didn't file them down enough, she cut me and had me bleeding. We have gone here several times and try to see the same people. On one occasion, the manicure was done with the electronic sander and she cut into my cuticle. On another occasion I came down with a nail fungus (pinky finger) and almost lost the nail. However, Jenny is amazing and the one you want to ask for! I will not be going back to get my nails done there. I made an appointment over the phone for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure turned out good, but my fingernails look horrible. The polish is so messy close to my cuticles and whenever the lady was cutting my cuticles, she made one of my fingers bleed. She tried to clean it up, but it just wouldn't stop bleeding. My nails weren't drying because the machine she had wasn't working so she got another one and it worked a lot better. She had to re-do the nail that was bleeding and also another nail. The scheduling is so unprofessional. Both my wife and Mother have tried to be faithful clients of this place but every time they have booked appointments the techs take someone else ahead of them which causes long delays and/or reschedules which affects us getting our kids from school or other activities of daily living. With so many other nail salons they should strive to have superior customer service and professionalism. I do not recommend this establishment. read more

I hardly ever get acrylic nails. I think this was my 3rd time and I was going in for a fill. I just wanted the fill, a tiny bit taken off the length, and regular nail color. My nail tech was Jenny. She did not ask what I wanted, how long I wanted the nails, nothing. She cut them down to a length barely above my finger tips, applied the polish, & put me at the drying station. I looked up to see her take the clip out of her hair, put on her jacket and walk out the door. She never smiled, never made eye contact, and she sure never thanked me for my business or the generous tip. She also just assumed that I knew everything there was to know about acrylic nails and the different polish/color techniques. She told me I needed to familiarize myself with techniques and their prices. I walked out, very dissatisfied. I walked back in and told another employee that I wasn't happy. She told me to come back Friday and she will fix it. I was there right after opening on Friday. The same employee (not Jenny) remembered me and after making excuses for Jenny, told me I would be charged to have my nails redone to my satisfaction. I am left with nails that would've looked better had I done them myself at home. I sure didn't need acrylic to make them this length; I could've grown my own nails. read more

i went there to get my hair bayalage. i have long hair and wanted the length to match my roots, an ash gray color. They stripped my hair, and now i am a bleached blond/grey. i left hopeful, but i have cried for days! I'm giving a poor review because they didn't do what I asked for. This was for my invalid wife for her nails. I brought her in for A manicure and pedicure. My wife chose a color for her toenails and I said I wanted same color on her fingernails along with French tips. When they finished they had put a clear coat on her nails with French tips. That wasn't what I said but she was tired and we left. I called them back today to see about getting it straightened out. We went for a 2 pm appointment. Explained it to everyone at the desk. I volunteered to pay the difference for a gel polish. To get it right. They did the polish but wouldn't redo the French tips without charging me for them again. Do not recommend at all! Came here with 3 friends to try out a new nail salon and we all left disappointed. I didn't want any length taken off and she filed them down a good bit. She was still taking off my old polish when she told a walk in she would only be 5 minutes??? 5 minutes later, when she was "done" she told me to wash my hands and when I came back she was already working on someone else. The shape of my nails were terrible and they weren't even smooth so I asked her if she could fix them. I didn't even mention how uneven the color was. My thumb nail shape didn't match the rest so I asked if she could make it more square and she made it a complete square when the rest of my nails have a bit of a round edge, she also went ahead and filed the length down on that one a good bit once again. I have never been more dissatisfied with a nail salon. She didn't ask how I liked them, she acted like I was wasting her time. Please don't waste YOUR time! read more

Just got back from 7 months of combat boot wearing, and this was a fun way to hang out with the co-workers, and catch up. Maybe women are on the right track with this sort of thing! First let me say this place was clean and beautiful. I went to Queen's to get a manicure and pedicure ( told this to the girl when I walked in) She did my feet first. This girl never introduced herself to me nor engaged in any kind of conversation. ( so I don't know her name) She did a ok job on my feet. While doing my feet her and another girl where talking and apartments. I put my ear buds to stop listening to them. Then came my manicure... I could tell she was in a rush. I told her I wanted dip polish from the beginning. She started working on my hands and I realize that she was not going to do the manicure. She was just going to do just the dip polish. She became irritated that I wanted a manicure and dip polish. She said they can't do both. ( I do it all the time) I said find just give me a manicure and paint my nails. She did so BUT she did a awful job. I have hang nail skin all around my nails. NEXT she started painting my nails... she had polish all over my hands not just the cuticle but under my hands and to my fist knuckles. The polish on the brush was so thick that I have bubbles on my nails and skin. She put me under and heat lamp and left. I realize then that she did one of the worst jobs on my nails that I have ever seen. I left upset after my services yesterday but reserved my opinions. Went back in today and it was worse so now I am acting on the experience I had. First and foremost I want to say Chili, the lady that did my toes, was excellent. She was nice , professional and accommodating. Secondly, Julie, the lady that did my nails, was awesome and my nails have never looked so good. Great job! However, there was an incident when Chili was doing my toes about who was going to get a pedicure next. Nina began arguing with Chili. Yelled at her once and then kept giving her mean looks while she was finishing my pedicure. It made everyone in the pedicure area uncomfortable. It was rude, inappropriate and unprofessional. I was appalled. Is this how you treat your employees? Scold them like children til they cower and fear the work environment? Then when Julie was doing my nails, Nina kept questioning her how much longer . It was very uncomfortable and uncalled for. It made Julie stressed & it's my belief this is why she accidentally put the wrong color on my nails . I told her as she was doing them, but told her I would try to get away with it at work. She had done a great job and Nina was being so inappropriate. I left and went to work and was told indeed they were to bright. I explained how they were to match my toes and they didn't care. I returned to your store upon the store opening today. They referred me to the manager who could not have cared less. He was more concerned with who to blame than remedying the situation. "Well who did your nails" Who cares? The color is wrong. It was an accident. An accident bc Nina had yelled and scorned them and they were all shaken. He told me I would be charged. They were not accommodating and very poor customer service to blame the customer, blame staff and not offer to make things right. Even though I reserved my opinion last night, it was confirmed again today. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt to stay understanding & open minded because it was very busy, but seems like no , this is how business is conducted there. I will not be back. I will share my experience with my circle of friends and family. I will advise you avoid your business. Customers are important, but how you treat your employees is most important. They are the front line of your business and should be valued as such. I do not support a business that bullies employees and makes a hostile work environment like Nina did. Getting my nails done for the first time at 46. I was up-sold the sds powder. The tech did a great job talking about how much more healthy it is to have done instead of acrylic not once being told you could not have them filled. Rushed in today before meetings and was told then I would have to pay to soak sds off, and pay for new set. To do this every 3 weeks is ridiculous. When up-selling a product be clear about it. The gentleman at the counter today said " I guess she thought you knew". That response also not appropriate! Left very disappointed!! read more

I don't recommend this place. I went in with a picture of how I wanted my nails. They told me first the design would not be able to be done. It was a simple flower. So I said whatever and sat down with the tech. She eventually talked me into getting the dip. I have had the dip done before and I don't like it. She told me the solar (colored powder) would be very expensive and take too long. So I agreed to have the dip done. I didn't feel like having to wait forever, which I did anyway. It still took her 2 hours to do my nails. I hate them. They're thick and ugly. They look like I've had them done for a week, she didn't close to my cuticle at all. I WILL NEVER RETURN and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I hate being pressured to get something done I didn't want. read more

Got my nails done there and I got a full set. I asked for almond shaped and when he was done with it they were too wide and made them too thick. My nails looked like they were pop on nails. I was very upset on how they came out and while he was doing it he said a lot of people are so annoying because they are very picky. That's why I didn't say anything because I would feel annoying if I did. He said he has been doing nails for 7 years now I would think he would know how to do nails properly.
