I stepped off the lirr a little after 5am on a Sunday am. I considered walking home in my slutty outfit and my heels with my barefoot friend limping along (her shoes were killer) but prayed I wouldn't have to resort to that. As I hopped off the bottom step, I looked up and saw the bright yellow sign of QV car services shining! I decided we could just take a cab. I don't live far at all so it couldn't be that expensive. As we crossed the street, two cabs lined up. One guy honked. I checked his door for the qv logo and we gladly hopped in, relieved we wouldn't have to walk all the way home at that hour. He was pleasant. And it only cost us $6.25. He didn't complain about us chatting and he told us to have a blessed day (must have been the tip). I don't know why I never take a cab on my late nights from the lirr. This place is 24 hours meaning they are always right there.. waiting to chauffeur me to mi casa. This car service is definitely one I'm willing to use. I'll be crawling out of these cabs all winter thanks to my desire to shake my behind even in the coldest of colds. read more

Irresponsible unprofessional and rude staff. Don't bother making an appointment because they wont show up on time anyways! They made me wait 40 mins later than my scheduled pickup time. Then they get mad at me over the phone don't give me an Estimated arrival time and ask the same questions over and over. Then they had to change vehicles because they didn't have space for my luggage although I had told them prior the luggage I was carrying! I needed to go from Floral Park to Queens Village--about 3 miles--and the first car service I called wanted $30. I called QVCS and was quoted $12.50. I waited a lot longer than the 15 minutes quoted, but as I wasn't in a huge rush, it was fine. The driver was pleasant, the car comfortable e and clean. I'd use them again. read more

i called in the middle of the night to get a car to take me to long beach the dispatcher who answered said they do not go to long beach i told him that i was taken to long beach a few days ago and a nice guy named john took me, in a white SUV he said that there was no john working there and that they don't ever go to long beach i then asked him his name and the name he gave me sounded like a girls name would no recommend anyone speaking to this man and take another car service. i called about an hour and a half ahead of time to reserve a car to take me from murdock avenue in queens village back to jfk. The car came right on time, about a minute early. The driver was a nice guy and he was american born, so it was nice to talk to someone with perfect english. he was a young guy couldnt have been much older than myself (im 28). We went right to the airport. The car wasn't the most beautiful thing, but i dont care about that. just what gets me from point a to point b cheap. I don't expect a company to pull up in an escalade and then charge a cheap price, so whatev. Two small problems: 1. when i wanted to pay with my card, had to do it over the phone at arrival because he didnt have a card reader in car 2. when i called to reserve, im pretty sure that the girl told me 24.50 over the phone and when we got to the airport it was 26.50 (talked to her on the phone again to pay). maybe I heard wrong? not sure about this, but it wasn't a big difference and i was paying $30 anyway, so i thought driver just might get a smaller tip. also, from jfk to my address, i took a taxi from the terminal and it cost me about 22.50, so the rate is pretty reasonable to me, considering they come pick you up. overall, the experience was the best i've had in terms of taxis in new york: they answered the phone right away, had a car available when i needed it, THEY CAME ON TIME, they took me right where i needed to go fast, and the rate was reasonable. i would definitely use them again, although i dont know when ill be in new york again. they have a pretty low yelp rating, but it looked to me like a lot of people where rating low because of the look of the car or whatever, so i don't care about that. I lucked out on this i guess... oh btw, the night before i filled out their "contact us" form to request the car for the next day but i never got a response about this, so i guess nobody checks the online form. better to call i guess... read more

The driver stopped at the gas station AFTER he picked me up and took his sweet time. I clearly just got off a plane from JFK & spending extra money to get home faster and this guy shoots the breeze. I figured the car would be ready to go since he was waiting outside the station for customers. Never again. I would rather deal with the MTA than deal with this unprofessionalism. Good and reliable car service. You can even call ahead of time to arrange for them to be at your house anytime. They are opened 24 hours a day and they never close!!! I guess for the prices it isnt too bad wish they were a bit more affordable but with gas prices oh well, what can we do. Its convenient and located close to my house so I can't complain :) read more

We used their service from Hollis Queens to Lower Manhattan. Driver and car were fine. Price was right. We had two suitcases and two rollaboards. Was concerned uberx would not be large enough. So... One of those crazy days where you JUST need a cab. This is before I semi trusted über. I called this place up for a cab, was told I have to wait 20 minutes. I waited...and waited. 30 mins later my driver shows up --- in a manner I could only conclude to be intoxicated. The man had NO SHOES ON. I didn't even realize this until he took the wrong exit and I had to go closer to show him the right way on my phone. He kept breathing really loudly like be was going to faint or something. Honestly, I don't think this place really cares about the third party vendors they hire as cab drivers. It's disgusting man, I'll never use this service again. This car service is great for if you are in the area and need to get to JFK or Laguardia. The price is around 30 dollars and they are almost always on time. The vehicles are the old school lincolns which are ugly to look at but very spacious for both you and your bags. I really wouldn't recommend it for going to other random places because let's be real people this is Queens/LI and to truly enjoy it... you need to get a car. read more

They are TERRIBLE!! I scheduled a car for 830am the night before and they agreed to the pick up. I called at 835am to find out why they were late, to be told the car "broke down" and they didn't have any other cars. I simply asked "where does that leave me, with a flight to catch?" and the dispatcher started yelling at me because it wasn't her fault. Never AGAIN will I use them, I highly suggest against it. I had a bad experience. They estimated a pickup time in 20 minutes. That became an hour. Even though I was waiting outside the whole time he insisted he was at the right address...didn't even try to find the right place because he was too busy insisting he was right. Being a Queens Villager, I have used this service. And I will say that the prices are pretty fair if you are traveling within the borough of Queens. I would not use them however for out of borough travel. They will charge you and arm and a leg. Also, during the morning and evening rush hour it is extremely hard to get a cab. Otherwise they get you to your destination quickly. read more

I have no clue how the hell this business is still running and who the hell wants to keep using their service especially after reading their bad reviews including mine. I had a few rides with them and each of them were horrible. The first ride I ever had with them the guy kept breaking so hard because he doesn't pay attention to the road, second driver don't even know the direction so I gotta tell them the direction, and after third one is when I finally decided to write this review. You know that means it went horrible. I've called their service and hour ago and they said about 15-20 minute wait so I said okay after 20 min I called if my ride was almost here they said sorry there was a delay blah blah and said it would be another 20 min wait. Fine. Then after that 20 min passed I called them them they said "we are very sorry about the delay. It'll be another 6 min" first of all wth is 6 min?! It's either 5 or 10. That extra minute don't mean a thing. Anyways so I said again, fine. Then that 6 min turned to another 15 minute. So I called and they hung up on me. Guess they realized my phone number and didn't wanna deal with my complaint lol. So I called again then they answered. I told the girl I'm cancelling I've been waiting more than hour you guys said 6 min like 15-20 min ago, as I tried to go on with my rant she got the nerve to tell me no. That it hasn't been that long .... lol rude. Yeah so she said it's almost here anyways like few blocks down from where I was so I finally gave them my final "okay fine". I made appointment to go to the JFK airport for 10 am. I gave them the first call after they were 5 minutes late and was told car is on the way. the second call I called back 10 minutes after and they told me they are having trouble with the cars and they will call me right back. fifteen minutes after that call, I called them a third time and they told me they have no cars to get me, and never did they to let me know. DO NOT USE THIS CAR SERVICE! I called the day before for a pickup to LaGuardia at 8:15am. They confirmed that the car would be there. I even double checked that they had the correct phone number so there would be no issues. The next day at 8:25 there was still no car so I called and was told the car was on its way. At 8:35 still no car, I was then told that they had no record of a pickup for me and unfortunately they had no cars. Needless to say I was fuming and now very late for the airport. This is honestly the worst cab company I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. I live in the neighborhood by this place and for almost 6 years my opinion of them gets worse. I drive so I don't usually call for a taxi. The one day my car is in the shop I decide to call this place. I thought finally they got their shit together and can be organized. I call at 8:08 am I asked if they had any cars available so I don't waste my time. His man said yes there was and it would get to my house in 15-20 minutes. I told him sure no big deal I started work at 9am I had plenty of time. Then came 8:25 and no call.. I called at 8:30 and again this guy tells me oh there is heavy traffic he'll be there in 15 minutes. 15 minutes went by and still no call. I finally was fuming as it turn 9am calling for my taxi and they told me that traffic was super heavy and he'' be at my house in 15 minutes. This place is the most disorganized cab company I have ever seen. This company is run by clowns playing with you and giving you false times only to waste your time. Not only are the workers rude as hell but then you have the people on the phone giving you bullshit stories about how traffic is heavy. Who are you lying too. I drive every single day and eve with traffic being what it is it does not take more than 1 hour to get to someone's house when they called you and asked if any cars were available. This is WORST CAB COMPANY IN THE WORLD. I rather walk or take the bus anything but have to rely on these clowns to actually show up. This place is a joke. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
