Everything from craft events, to read alouds, and Lego builds. Each staff member I've met here has been very friendly and super helpful in finding anything I needed. This is a great place to read, study, or just have a quiet moment. When I've come to this location, I always find it organized, and clean ... something very welcoming when you are a busy parent! The attached Starbucks cafe upstairs is great for grabbing a light refreshment. Baristas behind the counter can help you make drinks that meet the familiar Starbucks standard. Cookies and pastries can be heated to order on site. Pro tip, almost always with your store purchase, you will get a coupon for a dollar off something in the cafe. What a pleasant surprise to have a sweet treat! (Shout out to Tyler for trying to help me locate a periodical!)

This review is strictly on the service prior to picking up the book that is being held for me…read more I called in to see if they had a specific book. They found it quickly and reserved it for me as my mom who lives quite far away will have to pick it up. I didn't feel rushed off the phone even when I spoke in Konglish. The value of the book was FAR MORE than responsible for it being Korean and not the translated version. I haven't been in the store physically, but can't wait to when I visit parents again.

They have a very small selection of K-pop albums. Unfortunately most of them didn't have price tags already attached to them so I had to ask the cashier to ring it up for me. I only saw two albums w/ tags. I wished they added them so I don't have to constantly ask for it / bother the cashier. I went here bc I saw reviews that this place was pretty cheap compared to other K-pop related stores. However the album I got was $28.94. And after tax - $31.51 Which is almost narrowly the same price as my usual K-pop store I frequent. But I bought it anyways. I also rang up aespa's jewel case & it came up to around $27. So I ended up buying only one album. When I opened it, the spine on the bottom of the photo book was a lil fucked up. And I noticed two - ish pages a bit teeny tiny detached. I am quite nit picky abt things like this so I was bit disappointed. However, i did clumsily drop the album after purchasing it and banged it slightly while it was in my bag. I think there was supposed to be a poster that came with the album but I never got it There was also a shelf I almost missed that was in front of the cashier on the side. In the back they have a bunch of books all in Korean. Btw hours are 10AM - 6PM Monday through Friday Closes pretty early imo They are also closed on the weekend and holidays unfortunately I came on a weekend not knowing they were closed so just a heads up ! Bc the hours on Apple maps is wrong

My first question was what I ask all used bookstores -- did they had a philosophy section, but "very little or no humanities", according to Ray Harley, the owner. "What we do have is Baseball and American history." Both of which they have in abundance. He wasn't kidding. Shelves and shelves of books on the sport -- I mean, if you're into all things baseball, this is a literary treasure trove). In addition to American history. I also found a decent section on Jewish and U.S. Catholic history as well. The store itself was a study in chaos; apparently they were unearthing a lot of material from the cellar, so boxes and boxes everywhere which required some nimble navigation of the stacks. But what was shelved themselves was fairly organized. It's definitely a good place for browsing. Pricing: specializing in old, rare and out-of-print, most books on the shelf that I found were in the $20-25 range. There are a everal $1 carts out front where I found some pleasant surprises. Takeaways (nice haul): - The Mission: A Film Journal by Daniel Berrigan, S.J. -- regarding the making of one of my favorite movies. From the dollar carts: - - America's Lighthouses, An Illustrated History - Diary of a Dead Man 1862-1864 (Ira Pettit, Union Private) - When the Cheering Stopped, The Last Years of Woodrow Wilson, by Gene Smith - "Talk to the Hand" a DOONESBURY compilation I'll definitely be back. Odd hours as it's only open weekends. Tip for those contemplating going: the owner advised to call ahead to inquire about hours, "because I'll never know when I'll be babysitting."

But the guys behind the counter didn't even let me finish explaining before cutting me off and saying it was not able to be returned. Without looking up my order they glanced at my return slip and told me it was already out of the return window. Then they told me the return window starts from the order date, not the delivery date. Big WTF... the item took 6 days just to arrive! How are customers supposed to return something they don't even have yet? On top of that, the staff were rude and careless. They took the game console out of the box to inspect it, and didn't even bother to rewrap it in the bubble wrap how it came. There were only one other customers in the store, but three employees were just wandering around, barely looking at my return slip and refusing to look up my order in their system. They said their boss "wouldn't allow the return." Basically anything to not assist me. Unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. This was a terrible experience and a huge disappointment.
