Giving blood is a really big problem for me, and one thing that helps is being able to give in the comfort of my own home, on my schedule, for a reasonable cost. We've all been there? Its pretty simple. You enter and sign yourself in. You are asked on the board if you will be waiting in your car? Or in the waiting room? Since it was obvious this visit no one was in there I chose what would be a very short time in the waiting area. Within maybe 20 seconds I was called in. The technician who I've seen before is always nice, making a patient feel as comfortable as possible. Utmost care is taken checking your identity and labeling... Today's blood work was basically done in a flash & I was out in record time. Yes, no one enjoys having to go for blood work... but this was a completely positive experience !

I was 2. nervous going to Quest because of bad online reviews, but PRINCESS DIANA at Quest, Haverhill MA, March 2023 was fantastic. I didn't feel a thing and it was so quick. My Dr. had made the appt for me. The appt email reminder made me 3. nervous - "if you are 10+ mins late you will be treated as a walk-in". Wed, 2 PM the anteroom was empty. I had trouble logging in at the kiosk with my QR code. Luckily someone appeared from the locked offices and helped me out. There's plenty of parking either next to the building or across the way, a larger lot.

They didn't seem to be following any particular order in attending to patients and 2 complained they'd been there for almost an hour after checking in. The staff need training in basic etiquette based on how they responded to polite inquiries into why they were passed over. They need retraining on basic etiquette but it would be easier to replace them alongside their rude manners. Quest Labs you have a reputation to maintain.

Completing the online check-in process as a new patient was easy enough but it was a little annoying to have to submit driver's license and insurance card photos after the receptionist scanned both cards. Being able to view the waitlist online was nice. The medical staff were decent enough.
