My Dr. had made the appt for me. The appt email reminder made me 3. nervous - "if you are 10+ mins late you will be treated as a walk-in". Wed, 2 PM the anteroom was empty. I had trouble logging in at the kiosk with my QR code. Luckily someone appeared from the locked offices and helped me out. There's plenty of parking either next to the building or across the way, a larger lot.

They didn't seem to be following any particular order in attending to patients and 2 complained they'd been there for almost an hour after checking in. The staff need training in basic etiquette based on how they responded to polite inquiries into why they were passed over. They need retraining on basic etiquette but it would be easier to replace them alongside their rude manners. Quest Labs you have a reputation to maintain.

Labs have been drawn frequently over past 7 months. Multiple times an order was missed or a sample wasn't attached to the order. So when the tests results enter the portal for viewing one is missing so then I have to call Labcorp to get the error fixed. It delays the lab results by at least a day. Which delays medical decisions and treatment plans. Also very difficult to get in touch with supervisor who always tells me it's an education issue for the phlebotomist and that person will be informed. Regardless this same error continues to occur. I have started to ask the phlebotomist to double check all orders which is not always appreciated by the phlebotomist.

I've been twice and she has left my lower arm completely bruised and swollen. This is because of the way she inserts the needle, it breaks the vein from underneath and causes bruising everywhere. I preregistered the night before on the Quest Diagnostics website, which made check-in at the kiosk in the office lobby an extremely simple process. The two people at the check-in kiosk before me had to navigate through the screens, and it did not appear too difficult for someone mildly computer savvy. The person behind the counter will help you with it, if you have trouble, according to a note next to the kiosk. Here's how to find the office: It is located in an older office park with two buildings separated by a wooded area that completely blocks the view of the other building, so you may have to do some driving around to locate Quest. (1) Find the building with "Andover Surgery Center" on the front of it (the sign is partially obscured by a tree). (2) Quest Diagnostics is in unit 138, which is located to the left of the Andover Surgery Center sign. The number "138" is posted on the door, but there is no Quest sign. (3) Go through this exterior door and turn left. (4) Go through the hallway door and there are signs for the Elevator on your right. (5) Take the Elevator to the second floor. (6) Exit the Elevator, and "Quest Diagnostics" is across the lobby on the left. Their name is on the door.

Making an appt on the phone had been challenging because they are switching their systems so calls are taking longer understandably. Had an issue with an order not having been received by Derry Imaging though I had them send it twice. I called yesterday and spoke with a delightful woman named Rene. She couldn't find the order either but apologized and said it was probably a system issue and if I could contact my doctor to have them send it one more time but to her attention. She said she'd call me back once she got it and make my appt. Rene did just that. She got my order. Called me back. Made my appt and did it with such friendliness courtesy and genuine regard for me. THIS is customer service. Old-fashioned 'let me help you out let me see what I can do for you' customer service. THANK YOU RENE for going above and beyond the entire time. She was just so nice about everything and it's so rare to encounter that nowadays. Give this woman a raise because trust me, she's a rare gem!

Office Experience: -Got bone x-ray day of order…read more -3 separate calls needed to schedule a CT Scan. Appointment was for 4 days later. Upon arrival I was informed this was a STAT order. -Spoke with same phone contact each time. 1st: cranky but got her to laugh. Said she'd call me back with prior authorization despite doctors's order. Never did. -Second time I called she scolded me to bring my insurance card with me. (Vs informing me politely) -Third call 2 days later got appoint for Thursday. "Be prepared to pay $320!!!". Very rude, loud and cranky. Completed all electronic paperwork and uploaded with my insurance card in advance per appointment confirmation text. Arrival: -no charge for procedure (contrary to the mean phone person) -Asked for my insurance card again despite already uploading. (Company policy) -made me fill out previously submitted paperwork AGAIN because their system on retains the first page and also never stores your height and date. "It's a system issue we've had for months". -only after the appointment did they inform me it was an emergency STAT order and I should have been seen Monday when I had the bone x-ray vs waiting 3 1/2 days. Medically, this is a top notch place with top notch care. I've been going there for several years. However, it's ironic how medical facilities require patients to complete a code of conduct agreement annually yet they allow their clerical staff to be rude and borderline abusive to their patients.
