Staff is friendly and young, location is convenient with the large building and parking lot. Unfortunately didn't have a great first experience today. Having forgotten my paper order, I had my doctor's office fax it in. My time came up to go in and I let the girl who first called me in know, and she said that after checking it hadn't come in; she'd keep checking and be sure to call me in when it did. Between getting forgotten and having to ask multiple people to check, it took almost 50 minutes for them to get me in, with my appointment happening happening about an hour later. It would've been faster for me to drive back home, get my order, and drive back... I've never had it take this long at a Quest where I've had to fax before. Staff explained bc it's all electronic to their computer system, their fax orders come in slower? On me to remember my paper orders but on a company to run efficiently. Hope issues like this in combination of electronic and human services can be more efficient in the future. read more

Fasted all day to get routine bloodwork but just got a sign the the Quest on Huntington, Arcadia that says that they are permanently closed. States to go to the Quest on Duarte rd, Aracdia nearby. Since I got there early , I went to Huntington and there is no appointment found, I went on standby waitlist just see to see after 2 hours, no movement. Everyone in the lobby were super upset and it felt very uncomfortable with so many frustrated, upset, vocal people. It felt like DMV, where the workers are indifferent and not trying to help. The lady indicated that corporate knows about the permanent closure of their facility and still books patients. I suggested they notify corporate again to fix that to avoid hundreds of people scheduling appointments unaware they're booking for a closed facility. read more

I'm surprised to see the bad reviews because I've always had a great experience. Came here twice for bloodwork and was in and out within 10 minutes. Make sure to make an appointment online or else you'll be waiting forever. Check in is extremely easy, they will text you before your appointment with a link or there's also a tablet when you enter. I've always got called in right on my appointment time, super quick and efficient. The technicians were always nice and friendly to me and provided great service. I've been traumatized by bloodwork before because I would always leave with a huge bruise or scar. The technicians here have no problem finding my vein which I really appreciate, no bruising or scars! read more

First and foremost I cannot believe their system...it does not work! Nobody answers the phone, it is run by AI if you're lucky. You need to be literate in using a computer or the machine in their waiting room...what if I was a senior who is not literate or cannot see! They have rules like if you email a doctor note stating what kind of tests to draw blood for and you have one written by hand on it (by the doctor's receptionist), their system will reject it. So you need the physical paper to take with you or have the doctor email them one with the handwritten test. They have an attitude that you should know that. They have no problem asking you to come back! Another thing is when I tried making an appointment with AI on the phone, I spelled out my last name literally 3 times and it still did not take asking me to repeat endless of times! My recent experience at this location left such a sour taste in my mouth that I would give this rating zero stars if I could. I have been using this location's services for years and--I don't know if it's financial cuts and/or lack of training--but this place has become a sad dumpster fire of a business. First off, no one is (wo)manning the front desk and you have to check in via a kiosk. It IS a convenient and streamlined process for folks like me, but I imagine it being difficult for someone older to use. Likewise, if you have any questions, no one will be at the front to answer them. And if you don't have an appointment, do not, I repeat DO NOT, bother coming in. In the hour+ I was waiting, the phlebotomist--and the only person working there at the time--saw a whopping two patients. From the many times I've gotten my blood drawn for a full blood panel + urine sample, it has never taken me more than 15 minutes. It's as if the person drawing blood was purposefully drawing out each appointment to see the least amount of patients as possible. To call Quest Diagnostics the DMV of the healthcare system is an insult to the DMV. Lastly, the phlebotomist was rude. She gracelessly dismissed all walk-in patients stating she won't see them. The dismissal of the standby patients isn't my gripe as much as the WAY she communicated it. It was discourteous and bad mannered. Sure, you may be having a poop day or simply hate your job, but we all make hundreds if not thousands of decisions each and every single day; it doesn't cost anything or take much to choose kindness. So please, choose kindness. You don't know what your patients are going through. read more

If I could give a negative review, I would. I have been going to this quest for YEARS and never had a problem with them, they used to be great. Today however, I've seen a different side of them. This quest is five minutes from my home. I went to get general bloodwork and have been fasting. When I get there, the phlebotomist told me that she can't do my blood draw because my insurance isn't taken at that one particular quest. She said I would have to go to Montebello, which is a 40 minute drive and was extremely rude about it when I asked clarifying questions. What I don't understand is why my insurance would work at one quest but not another...and why it has worked at this location for YEARS but now suddenly doesn't?? They have lost a decade long customer from this because I will never go back to them again. read more

They claimed they close soon and the hour long test could not be completed, so they made us go to another and PROMISED we could get in. COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All patients are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several weeks ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. The parking spots here are pretty big. You'll have no problems with parking. These people are the worst. Save yourself the hassle and go downstairs to LabCorp where they actually have an inviting waiting area and staff who might answer your questions. We went to pick up a specimen container and they people were so rude, wouldn't even answer a question. We registered as walk in, but after 30 minutes of waiting, they told us they were going to close for lunch and we could come back and try to wait after lunch was over. Never again. No receptionist, old reception windows covered over with cardboard. The people who came out to talk had all the charm of zombies, and ignored questions. Crowded waiting room. I was very disappointed today. I asked the plebodimist to use a small needle as I have had many medical procedures due to cancer and chemo treatments. This has left me with only my left arm for ALL my blood draws and any other medical treatment. He told me my vein was fine and REFUSED to use a small needle, saying everyone asks for those and they HAVE to save them for people who really need them. I suggested they order more then. Not impressed!!! I need a drug panel and alcohol test done for school every semester (I'm in a nursing program and it's a clinical requirement). I asked for verification of what test was being run before providing my urine sample (I've had issues with this before so wanted to verify the correct test would be run) and was told it was "too late" and she "could not go back to that screen". Usually I am able to see and sign the order form to double check before it's run. This is very important for my program and I had not even given my sample yet. I've been coming here for over 6 years and I've never had a worse experience than my most recent visit. The employee helping me today was late (we shared the same elevator) and she did not wear a mask (the front door of the office says "masks required") I am immunocompromised as are many other clients so I was very put off by this. I also witnessed her touching her nose/mouth frequently before putting gloves on, she didn't wash her hands first. I had to wait 15+ minutes for this same woman to do my blood work which she failed to do even though I've never had problems before. The other employee (Eduardo I think) saved the day. I've had such a positive experience even thought I HATE needles. My family doctor used to refer me and my family to another clinic but I never had any positive experiences over there because the phlebotomist had trouble finding my veins and it would HURT. It was my first time going to Quest and I made my appt online to save time. Sylvia was the phlebotomist and she was really gentle with me since I told her about my past experiences with the other clinic. The blood draw was quick and pretty painless.
