Waited over 2 hours for my scheduled appointment and office manager / front office person was very nonchalant about my time.

First time to this location. They were super busy and doing the best they could it's the proper safety measures in place. I was taken in about an hour wait, but again I saw they were doing the best they could. They did a really excellent job getting blood from me. I am not an easy draw and they needed to collect about 8 tubes. Not one mark on my arm!!! With two sticks done as my blood pressure slowed to the point they had to get another vein. That's a first! HORRIBLE/DEPLORABLE First went to Bowie location to have blood drawn, next day big black bruise appeared (see picture). Second, went to Laurel location to drop off knee fluid today, they could not figure out how to put Dr's order into system. After waiting 18 minutes got frustrated and left; went back to Dr's office and got an order to go to Lab Corp. Only went to Quest since it was next door to Dr's office. Went to Quest Diagnostics to have a bunch of blood drawn. I failed to bring in the correct paperwork with needed information. It didn't matter because Tiffany was kind enough to call my Doctor and get the information she needed so I was very grateful for that. Like another reviewer, I didn't even feel it when Tiffany stuck me. Zero bruising for me. As far as signing in, the computerized sign in couldn't have been any easier. If you know your name, DOB, address, etc. all you have to do is fill it in. How hard is that? I have no idea why anyone would find this difficult at all. Thank you Tiffany and if I need more blood work, I'll return to Quest. It was convenient and fast and I didn't even have an appointment. read more

Went to quest at Bowie Health Center and was terrible. The employee was extremely rude to us. Asked us why we didn't go to a location closer to our house - then when I said my daughter sometimes gets faint she basically said we should go somewhere else. Honestly she was so nasty before this I wouldn't have had her go near my daughter with a needle. We proceeded to the other bowie location on Omni building and they were great. I used to go to Quest Diagnostics several times a year for my blood work. I will no longer. Their administrative procedures have become awful. Instead of just signing in you have to use a key punch tablet which is not easy to use and, quite frankly, dysfunctional. It is a waste of time and very frustrating. I now go to Lab Corp which has a much easier to use system and the administrative staff are very helpful in assisting patients if there are any problems. Some ditsy admin type at Quest must have come up with another idea of fixing something that was not broken in the first place. Shame on them! read more
