She just started at this location a few weeks ago and I had been in a few times for some tests recently where she was very attentive, caring, and eased my fear of needles when removing blood. I was having a bad day already and what could have ruined it actually ended my day on a good note all thanks to the lovely phlebotomist I had the pleasure of having having drawn my blood! I showed up late due to going to the wrong quest, they turned me away and although Selina, the phlebotomist that was there didn't I feel like anyone else would have! She was dealing with 2 young kids crying about getting their blood drawn (I heard the way she talked to them she did such a great job w them) and another adult pt that had her own problem going on. Selina dealt with all of us w such patience and compassion! It was 15 mins right before closing and Selina dealt w all of us and still was able to draw my blood even tho I had missed my original appointment! Came here for a health screening my work sent me to, and let me just say it was super simple the whole way through! And could not believe how quick the service was and to top it all off I had a great member from the Quest team today in Selina!! She is super sweet and all smiles while handling the area work she is in as well while she ran the tests with me. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I came in just to drop off a stool sample -- something that should take maybe five minutes -- and ended up waiting for over TWO HOURS. When I arrived, I was #4 on the standby list, then moved to #2, and somehow an hour later I was back to #3. It makes absolutely no sense. By the time I got it, they claimed they didn't have my order, even though they had it on Friday. Waited for over two hours for nothing. The staff had no sense of urgency and showed complete disregard for patients. People come here because they need care, not to sit around wondering if anyone even knows they're waiting. The whole experience was beyond frustrating -- disorganized, careless, and inconsiderate. I will never come back and honestly wouldn't recommend this lab to anyone. read more

Sometimes you do need to get a blood test as a walk in with no time to wait for the next appointment. If you find yourself in this position, don't go to Quest. Their system is fully automated, which means people with appointments are served first and people without appointments may not get in AT ALL. You may have to wait ALL DAY. They only have a kiosk, so nobody will be able to help. This is especially frustrating if you have a blood sugar problem and you fasted for 12 hours before coming. I recommend going to a hospital for tests. They have real people behind the desks. You just give them the paperwork and sit down - very easy. read more

DO NOT COME IN HERE !!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERRRRRR!!!!!! I was able to hear a worker mention the name of the rude lady , her name is Rosy !! She is rude and not professional. She does not seem patient with the people in the waiting room she had me wait with my toddler for over an hr just to drop off a frozen sample that I had to drop off. She said that if I wanted to go somewhere else I can but she said it with a huge attitude and in front of other patients sitting in the lobby ! I work in health care and we always recommend patient to this specific location and I will no longer recommend anybody here EVER EVER IN MY LIFE !! Only 2 people were there were & taken back right away. Both patients left & a man with an appointment had come in by this time & was taken back. When I was finally noticed Rosie said they were closing and I wouldn't be seen, she thought I had just arrived because she decided just to look in the room(which I was in) and for some reason didn't see me, when she did notice me she said they won't see me because they were closing and already had patients, but I had been setting there since the last one was taken back so know there was only one. Believe the hype, this place is even worse then you can imagine. No front reception. Chairs taped together. No human interaction. Terrible customer service all around. You will sit in this abyss of a waiting room, while listening to the television offer tips about the power of positive thinking, for hours. This office is by far the worst place EVER. I've been here as a walk in for more than ONE hour and even though there were only four people who signed in during all this time the woman did NOT open the door to help me. The place closes at 5:00pm. She was done withdrawing blood at 4:40pm and refused to take me in. She showed up behind the desk and gave me a card so I could make an appointment. When I asked why I couldn't get in her response was that I didn't have an appointment. She also told me "Look I can be here arguing with you, however you're not coming in. I left the place crying. The place is horrible. They have walk-ins advertised, but the nurse would not even acknowledge you. She only focuses on the appointments and intentionally does not come out between them. I hate this place. It is unfortunate that QD created this monopoly and takes advantage of the patients with a sub par service. 1:10 appointment, checked in in iPhone about 1:05. Direction given to open door and wait. Unbeknownst to me another patient arrived about 12:30 and knocked/pounded on door scaring workers who called the police. 4 police came, took our driver's licenses, spoke with nurses, came out and told us we are never to come back to Quest Diagnosis at 500 Paseo. I got my blood drawn today and it was extremely easy and I was in and out in 5 min. You need an appointment for this clinic or you will be turned away immediately. The lady was nice, quick check in the the QR Scan code and I was in and out without a wait. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Do not go to this location the women that work here do not even acknowledge you they do not have anybody at the front desk they only rely on the computer check in your self. Each time they open the door they will just call out a name and won't even acknowledge you if you ask questions and close the door they are very rude. Sat there over an hour and a half without being acknowledged and no human in the room to help me. Others also came and went the same way but they gave up on that treatment I stayed as long as I could before having to go to work. read more

I had a great experience. The lab is on the small side, but they are not too crowded due to only taking appointments and not walk-ins. So...make an appointment! The waiting room had 3 chairs spaced apart, you also have the option to wait in your car, if you wish. The sign-in kiosk at front had some issues with working properly, but it finally worked. I did wish they had some sanitizer next to it because of how many people touch it all day, but they didn't. My appointment was 9:30, but they took me back at about 9:20, since I got there early. Nicole was my phlebotomist, and she was excellent. Very kind, gentle and patient. I explained to her I get a little (okay, A LOT) "needle nervous," and can faint. So, she got the bed ready for me so I could lay down and talked to me the entire time to help me remain calm. I understand this takes more time and isn't as convenient for her, but it was better for me, I didn't even get woozy! I appreciated it, and Nicole, very much. She never made me feel like I was a problem. read more

I made and received confirmation of an appointment. I showed up on time. The "receptionist" said I had to get my medical cards even though I've been there dozens of times in the past five years. I went to my car, returned. Then she asked me for the doctor's orders. I said, they've been called in for some time. She said "no." I said, "Call him, then." She said, "What's his phone number?" I said, "Please look in your system." She said that "wasn't possible." At this point I'm getting annoyed as the doctor said they were faxed in, I know they have my medical cards in their system, and if she were competent she'd have been able to look up his phone number. First off, if you change your hours of operation, change the website first! Don't put a sign on the door after someone drove fifty miles based on bad information and inability to call a human being to verify hours of operation. Sign on the door only helps employees that cannot remember anything. Secondly, your online appointments takes three minutes of your life, and near the end asks "do you want the next available appointment " if you confirm this, the next message says "we are experiencing technical difficulties, please call back, goodbye! Are you kidding me!!!! An employee said "oh, that just means we're all booked up, and besides you cannot make appointments within a two week period". Why not state up front, NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE!!! Third, your online access for test results does not work unless you're referred by a physician! If a contract is with an employer, you cannot get results. If you cannot provide Physicians information you cannot continue!!! Why not tell us this! Terrible customer service and technology. I had an appointment scheduled with my wife. They tried to say it wasn't on the calendar but I verified when I got home that the appointment was correct. They took my wife in almost immediately but I had to wait over an hour. Even after I complained to Amber that I had been fasting for over 12 hours they continued to take others ahead of me that walked in 45 minutes after I had been waiting. She said nothing could be done and apparently the help is not allowed to think on their own and deal with unexpected issues. Oh, and thanks for the bad, snotty attitude. The customer service here is horrible! My four co-workers and I needed to go here for a drug screening appointment for our employer. The automated phone system claimed to have drug screening appointments available at 8 am. We show up at 8 am only to find that in reality drug screening is only at 10 am to 12. Not only that, my other co-workers are Spanish speaking and the sign that claims the true hours is only in English. So they were going to wait in the waiting room for 2 hours not even knowing that they would not be able to seen. When I mentioned that to the front desk and asked them why they wouldn't have let them know that rather than have them wait for two hours they were extremely rude and said they can wait here if they want or come back at 10! I called all three quest locations in the surrounding area and two of the three do not mention the hours for drug screening only. Two hours of my time has been wasted! I should not have to call three places to figure out what the true hours of operation are. For the amount of money this place makes the Front Desk (whatever her title is) should at least be somewhat courteous to people. Get it together Quest Diagnostics being rude and having different information between the website and the automated phone system is unacceptable! read more

Worst experience ever! My parents are 81 and 83 years old. My mother has extensive health issues. The supervisor, MERCY (of ALL names to have!) asked that my mother bring her paperwork in on a separate appointment because it is apparently very complicated (really?) so that is what we did. My father brought my mother in for a separate appointment at 8:20 am. Since there is nobody to check you in anymore he was waiting behind a man at the self check-in who took forever and by the time my father checked in it was 8:23. My dad told my mom he would wait in the car since there is no space to sit. When my dad was walking to his car he suffered a terrible fall. Patient after patient were taken before my mother who eventually questioned MERCY, who told her she was late or didn't have an appointment and would not be seen. My mom walked out upset only to find my father on the ground in the parking lot, bleeding profusely. When she told him what happened, he still Insisted on going back inside and making sure she got her blood drawn. Mercy continued to argue that they were late. My father would not leave until her blood was drawn. He also asked for some tissue as he was bleeding and his handkerchief was full of blood. She replied, "when I have time, you have already ruined my day and made me completely behind." Also, she only took 3 small viles of blood which is in no way sufficient for what my mother's doctor ordered. She obviously wanted to rush them out of there. We spoke to her doctor and he agreed. I will obviously be following up with Quest corporate, but want the public to know that there are lots of choices out there. Avoid this Quest at all costs! When relaying this story to friends, I have heard other stories of rude behavior from this woman. If you can't be pleasant with the public, ESPECIALLY our senior population, get out of public service! I am LIVID!! read more

Don't walk...run from this place. I showed up without an appointment and expected to wait. The receptionist knew I had no appointment but told me to take a seat. 20 minutes later a man walks in and tells her he didn't have an appointment and asks how long it will be. She says an hour to an hour and a half! He says he'll go outside and come back and she tells him quite rudely...."If you're not here when they call, you go back to the bottom of the list." In other words she's warning him to sit for over an hour in a cramped waiting room with no magazines or newspapers or pamphlets to read. I got up and left and told her she could have at least warned people up front when they don't have an appointment about the waiting time. She said that would be too much trouble and that she'd be saying that to people all day. If that's there accepted attitude towards customers, it's hard to believe they'd be professional in drawing the customer's blood. There must be other labs out there that are not rude. read more

Visited this location four to five times without an appointment and am usually out of there in 15 to 20 minutes. Perhaps I'm just lucky or choose the right to walk-in without an appointment. Worst experience ever. The staff was rude, condescending and embarrassed me in front the remaining patients in the waiting room. I was there for a simple urinalysis for nursing school. I was not informed of any issues regarding my one year old child being there. Once I walked in the office I was told I would not be seen despite observing a family with a child possibly 5-6 years old get to go back with the adults. Because of the lack of professionalism and demeanor of the staff I asked for a complaint form and I was first told that they did not have one. I pointed at their sign that says they have comment forms and then I was told I was not going to get one and I could call the business line as the staff said, "It's not like anything is going to happen anyways." read more

I went to this facility for a blood test. I paid for the tests asked for by my doctor, they took several blood vials and I was off. I was then called to return for a redraw due to some of the vials getting compromised. I thought it was weird as did those at the facility. Later I get an invoice for the second draw. I called and explained that it was not my fault that some of the original draw was compromised. I asked what was the test for and they said allergies. I explained that I do not have allergies and I doubt the doctor ordered for that. I asked if maybe they had made a mistake with someone else that had come in close to the same time as me. The doctor verified that he did not ask for that test and wrote a letter to them explaining that. They have now sent me to collections. They will not even acknowledge that the doctor wrote them a letter. It is not the money, it is of course the principle of the matter. I spoke to several persons from Quest but to no avail and they could not answer my questions either. Instead of taking responsibility they just bill, thinking that the insurance will pay.
