Don't go here for DOT drug screen. They don't do them and they make you wait before telling you.

Five-Star Care When It Matters Most I cannot recommend…read morePremier Emergency Room highly enough. From the moment I walked through the doors, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. In a world where ER wait times are usually measured in hours, I was seen in under two minutes. The Gold Standard of Care The nursing staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. I never had to wonder what was happening next; they kept me updated constantly and handled everything with such professionalism that it immediately put my mind at ease. Expert Medical Guidance I was treated by Dr. Elwell, who is fantastic. He was direct, highly informative, and possessed a bedside manner that is hard to find these days. He took the time to ensure I understood every aspect of my treatment during the visit and provided crystal-clear instructions for my aftercare before I was discharged. My New Go-To Facility It is rare to find a medical facility that balances lightning-fast efficiency with such a warm, human touch. This is officially the only place I will be going for emergency care from now on. If you want to be treated like a person and not just a chart number, go to Premier.

as a nurse practitioner and an attorney in healthcare law I must say the care is exceptional…read more @floreslawfirm

Appt was set for about a week ahead, not bad. I asked about adding my name on a cancellations list…read moreand was told they didn't have one. Which I have been told before but have also been told by 2 people that they could get me in sooner if someone cancelled; and both did call back when the opportunity arose to move my schedule ahead. So I'm not sure why some people can do it and others don't even know about it. I also asked the lady strapping me to the table " an you please tell me when you are in between breaks so I can take a breath". She said "you don't have yo hold your breath". I told her "yes mam, but I have a little anxiety about shallow breathing but cause I'm told not to move. Halfway through I start getting anxious from feeling claustrophobic. It helps if they say "ok we have a 10 sec break to take a breath" so I can feel like i could take a big breath and not feel so anxious. But they chose not to do me that little request. Also, they schedule your appt and then tell everyone to be there 30mins early. I assume it's to register, make sure they have a copy of ID and insurance and check in you in. Also because they are usually running a bit early. Well since I register online and they already have copies of my insurance and ID, all they have to do when I get there is check me in. I get scolded almost every time I come here because I'm not here at the SUGGESTED 30 mins early for them to click on some buttons that basically say "Tina's here". I dont get it. I'm still here early (at least 10-20 mins). On this visit I was on the parking lot by 20mins til my appt. and I hesitated getting out right away because I noticed an elderly woman trying to help her husband get out of the car in a wheelchair. They managed to get it after about 5 mins so I proceeded to go in. I came up to them at the door struggled with it so I hopped around from the back and opened the door for the gentlemen to push in his wheelchair then we waited for someone to notice us to check us in. They checked him in then came to me. I have I informed the lady that I registered online and they have a current copy of my ID and insurance card on file. She said "ok, ty, have a seat and we'll call you". When my name was called about 2 mins later, I was told "you need yo be here 30mins early for your MRI appts -"and your appt is in 6 mins". I told her "I apologize but I was technically here in the parking lot for 20mins before appt. And that I helped someone that appeared to be struggling before I came in and let them ho first. Also, I didn't think it would be as urgent for the 30mins since I completed everything online". She replied like she never heard me (or didn't care) "you need to be here 30mins prior to appt". I've never been scolded at a medical office when I'm always here by my appt time and almost early by at least 10 mins or more.

I was on hold with awful music blasting, Eventually, a person who identified as Giselle answered. I provided my name and birthdate and began explaining why I was calling. She interrupted. I tried to continue. She interrupted and demanded my name, which she already had. I repeated it. She snapped that my appointment was scheduled. I acknowledged but explained it wasn't correct. As if arguing, Giselle aggressively continued to interrupted. Finally I realized the scheduler just wanted to get rid of me. I asked for a supervisor. Sarcastically she said she would get one and tell them all about my call, her version of course. She put me on hold. When nobody responded, I disconnected. As if taunting me, Giselle immediately called me and giggled, "I thought you wanted to talk to my supervisor!" I said I did but after she had placed me on another hold, nobody answered. She then claimed that I could only get an appointment through her. I told her I would elect to be a walk-in. I disconnected. This scheduler shows mental health problems. Her behavior is completely out of context for her job. She shouldn't deal with the public. When a patient can't get an appointment set, the business loses-- no patient means no money.

However, the team here at physicians premier Ennis is one of a kind. They are kind and cared for me like I was their only patient. I was checked in very quickly and almost immediately was brought to the back within minutes. I've never been seen in an emergency room faster than I have here. I was not sure what I was experiencing but they did not dismiss me and my concerns rather than help me to understand what was truly going on. 1000/10 thank you all so much.

I have used Premiere ER several times in the past without incident. However my experience on…read more1/2/2021 was very disappointing. I have had pneumonia twice in 2020 and both times I woke up acutely ill with a high fever (104) and gasping for air. Both times I was alone and unable to safely drive myself to an ER so I had to call 911 and transport to Bay Area. Both times I was admitted and that 2nd time I had called I truly didn't think they were going to make it in time. (in addition to the pneumonia I was having an acute asthma attack) This 3rd time my firefighter boyfriend was with me and noticed I was getting progressively sicker as the night went by. We agreed it would be best to go to Premiere and nip this one in the bud so to speak before it escalated. Before any definitive testing was completed, the ER doctor told me he felt my SOB was "all in my head" (because my pulse ox was 98-99%). I can't tell you how devastated and small I felt. As a registered nurse and paramedic with 30 years of healthcare experience, I can assure you I've had to have similar discussions with patients. However for him to come to this conclusion, whether it be a personal or professional opinion, was definitely premature. What the ER doctor didn't know, because he didn't ask, was I had walked 3 flights of stairs and had to ambulate to/from the car twice before he saw me. So, yes, I was very SOB. The cold night air and the heavy use of my rescue inhaler prior to arrival had put me in a paradoxical bronchospasm and I was only just beginning to settle down. ...but mind you, this was "all in my head". And while anxiety and fear can certainly exacerbate SOB and make one feel as if they're in acute distress, I most definitely cannot fake a CXR which revealed LLL pneumonia. (now my 3rd dx in less than 12 months) I also can't fake a BP of 88/60 (I normally run extremely high, especially my DBP which is usually 90-110) I know I didn't meet criteria for hospital admission. I certainly wasn't seeking that. As stated previously, I went to Premiere to tackle this situation before inpatient treatment was necessary. The ER doc seemed to agree (after reviewing my CXR) and I was given a neb tx, IVP ABX and sent home with multiple RX's to continue care at home. What I was not given was an apology for being made to feel as if I was merely attention seeking, emotional, psychosomatic and dramatic. Everyone can have an off shift but on 1/2/2021 the healthcare system let this long-time nurse down. I hope that if/when the day comes that this MD finds himself on the other side of a hospital gurney that he receives better care than the care he initially gave me.
