There's a note on the screen reminding staff to be nice to the front line of Quest, but they are not that nice to customers. I stopped by just to get a container, and they didn't want to give it to me. They asked me to sign in, I waited 30 minutes, and then they wanted me to wait even longer just to get a simple container. Figured I wouldn't make an appointment at Quest Diagnostic since it has reserved the first hour, 6am-7am, for people over 60 and at high risk for the CoronaVirus. Much to my surprise, they still made appointments for that timeframe. So, basically, it was a waste of time. I have been going to Quest Diagnostics for over 15 years at a different location and have usually appreciated the service and bed side manners of the phlebotomists. I went to this location for the first time. Rossana was horrible. I had told her in advance that I have small veins, she used the largest needle, could not find my vein, and began to dig around to find it. I told her she was hurting me and to pls take it easy. She extracted the needle and did the same thing with the other arm and proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that she could not find my vein because I was too stressed! I needed to get routine bloodwork for my annual physical and was pleasantly surprised by this location. There were no appointments available that would allow the results to be ready in time for my physical, so I tried their "walk-in now" feature (it was my fault waiting for the last minute to make an appointment). This will give you a short window to come in and they will hold an appointment for you. It's faster wait-time than a regular walk-in but I believe slower than if you have an appointment set. I had to wait only about 15 minutes after my time given to get there. There were a lot of people in the waiting room, and I know that I have had to wait over an hour previous years at other quest locations when I walked-in without an appointment. The phlebotomist, Rosana, was so nice and considerate. I told her I have some anxiety about blood tests, and she helped me relax through the process, which I really appreciate. The location was clean and on the television it posted approximately how much wait-time each person had to get called in. Next time I need blood work, I am going to this particular Quest! read more

Based on the information on the website and the recording of a robot voice when called, they will accept walk ins. When I arrived there is no window to speak to anyone just 2 tablets to check in. After a while a worker came out and said no appointment, nothing they can do. They do not take walk-ins and appointments are only available 2+ weeks out. They clearly take more appointments than they can handle and the employees basically say too bad, take a seat and we will call you whenever when you have been waiting for over 40 minutes for a scheduled appointment. I have gone to the Quest Location at 1814 W Hillsboro Blvd the last two days in a row because I need lab work done for my upcoming surgery on 5/26/2020. Due to the virus my doctors office for the first time had to fax the order and I did not walk in with it. I called the doctors office on Monday and then again yesterday and they stated that it was sent. I am not finding a way to call ahead and make sure it is there. Two days in a row I changed my hours at work to go and have this blood work done. I have been going at 600am in order to avoid the crowds due to my underlying health conditions. Their system was down but instead of keeping the patients informed while they were waiting way past their scheduled times, they screamed at us as if it were our fault. I have been sitting in front of quest in my car since 6:40am on a Saturday hoping to get an appointment. I am also a health care and haven't been able to take time off. I've also tried to schedule an appointment online and it's always booked for months out . However I walked in at 7am and NO one was inside nor outside waiting .I had no appointment but I explained to them me not being able to go through the week day being I can't take any days off right now . The front desk lady said I understand and would ask the manager to come out! The manager herself wouldn't even take two seconds to come out and speak with me . I had a doctor's referral to get a ca125 test as a precautionary test and the lady who drew my blood asked if I had cancer as if she was shocked. I had been nervous about taking such a test and for her to ask that was not her place or any of her business. Thank God my results came back fine but, since she asked if I had cancer, I was a wreck until I found out my results. Plus, the room had no door so, anyone could've heard her. I was told that this facility took walk ins, but to be there at 6:00 or earlier. I arrived at 6:35 am. I fasted for the blood tests that were required, well as the facility opened at 6:00 am the story changed. The nurse comes out and starts calling appointment at 6:00 am,6:15 and 6:30. Then anyone who's over 65, if you're pregnant or handicapped. Few walk ins, it's now 7:15 line us moving, again 6:45 7:00 7:15 appointment being called. Finally a seat opens in waiting room nurse inside obviously given this task forget to register me or 2 others in the keypad in waiting room. Finally asked for my lab assignment with insurance card and license. It's 8:45 people who came an hour after myself were brought in and had lab work. I went to front window and asked how much longer, since I was there 3 hours, the person who puts information in system replies, I haven't done yours there's this many ( showing me a stack of 6 others) before I enter your information then you go to waiting room it could be another hour and half. This was totally unacceptable, I explained when I was in line that I take care of my husband he just had bypass surgery a little over 2 weeks ago and is immune compromise but that doesn't seem to mean squat. Quest is the worst excuse for a medical "service" business ever. They have a great, recognizable name, but their lab services are awful. Their office is always overcrowded. Appointments mean nothing - I arrived on time for my 10 am appointment, and I'm still waiting 40 minutes later. They told me they were running late because someone forgot to send the key to open the place. If they can't get the door open on time, or provide enough seats in their overcrowded waiting room, how much can I trust their ability to draw and test my blood? Quest? Never again! read more

The Quest Diagnostics lost my blood work. I was there Dec 23, they did the blood draw and lost it!

So it seems this place has changed owners or management. I didn't remember it being such a rude, hugely lacking customer service type of place. I think from now on I will have my bloodwork done at the dr's office. What does it cost someone to say hello or good afternoon when you first walk in. Like seriously! It's called being courteous and people friendly. The only they say is do you have an appointment as soon as you walk in. Smh. Then the phlebotomist was not exactly a ray of sunshine either. Very very dry. No hello/good afternoon either. Just call your name. No follow me, come with me. Nothing. She said who took care of you, I say I don't know. I wasn't given a name. She says rather rudely well you need to go ask her. So I go look for her and ask. She says it's fine. I go to the lady with the exaggeratedly long lashes in the front thinking I need to check out with her bc I wasn't told I can leave once I'm done with Urine sample. So I ask her do I checkout with you. She rudely says no. I say but don't you need my insurance info. Again with attitude she says I don't do that the person who drew your blood would have. I say she didn't ask me for it. She rudely says we'll you need to go ask her if she has it. Smh. So again I go search for the phlebotomist to ask her and says it was on my script for the bloodwork. So I just walked away. Amazed that such a big company like Quest has such rude people working with the public. This place has horrible reviews. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff is so awful, they do not want to work at all. Especially the lady with the giant fake lashes w the island accent, she is absolutely rude and awful. She told me I couldn't get my blood work done until the 10th when actually I can apparently get it done anytime after the first. (I was there on the 2nd) I have a standing order, my doctor was extremely upset that I didn't have my results for my appointment because my prescription is only allowed to be given within a small window period. When I told her how long I've been waiting just for them to tell me this information which was nearly an hour, she said that she clocked me in at 22 minutes (that wasn't even how long I was in the main waiting room before I was stuck in a smaller room by myself) she looked at me like hmm whatcha gunna do about it...I've left that place twice in tears over how I was treated. I will never go back and I hope that lady gets reprimanded for her lying as well as her unprofessionalism. The place also looks filthy, the hand sanitizer dispenser was completely out which is disgusting since you have to touch a screen just to check in. This was my first visit here, and I do plan on returning, I arrived at 1015 for a 1045 apt, with only 2 people in the lobby waiting, I checked in, and sat down expecting to be called up for my info or anything, I waited 45 minutes and still wasn't called, I stopped here because it was on my way to work, and it seems like they're not even calling people back until their appointment time, my name was on their wait screen saying "3 minutes" but it said that for 20 minutes, I don't know if they were short staffed, or what, but the wait I had for a simple blood test is ridiculous, I've been in busier Quest Diagnostics with more walk ins and appointments and been in and out quicker than it took them to even call my name. Once I got back to get blood drawn there was literally only one girl there, as the girl who was at the reception left about 10 minutes before I was called, like picked up her bag and I'm assuming left, it wasn't even 11 yet, so I'm assuming she's gone for the day, the only reason for the 2 stars instead of 1 is because the woman who took my blood was super quick and helpful. read more
