Poor service. The nurse was blond, wore her hair in a bun, and just looked vacant. That was telling. They left my blue ID band on the counter; never once thought to give it to me. After I exited the room, then I was told, "Oh, the doctor will see you now." Mind you, I registered online (not an appointment, I am aware), waited an hour and a half, saw many people come in and were seen immediately. Horrible service overall. read more

HORRIBLE!! During the COVID surge, I accompanied my 82 year old COVID positive mother to this location. She had been referred here by Boca regional hospital by a woman named Lisa in the ER, as the place to go to get a doctors referral for the monoclonal antibody treatment. At the time, a positive Covid test & doctors prescription was needed for the treatment (that's until the Governor stepped in a few weeks later to make the life saving treatment available to all in order to bypass this nonsense by that's a whole different topic ) As we approached the door, there was a security guard at the entrance who informed us that they were already full, not taking any COVID patients , and they were closed for the day , even though it was 10 am. My mother asked the guard if someone could at least check her lungs to make sure there were no signs of pneumonia, he went inside yo get a nurse who then came to the door with a surly attitude and told her if she had trouble breathing to go to the ER. Gee thanks! ! We left this horrible place & headed home. Luckily my mother did not progress to severe COVID and she recovered wonderfully at home with my care. I can't even imagine treating high risk symptoms orderly this way, no wonder so many lives are lost to this disease when this is the way some health professionals operate. Nice enough staff, but not great medical providers. The doc or arnp I met with was kinda cold (which is typical for medical docs). Paid over 300 to have them tell me to take mucinex which I had already been taking for two days. I mentioned I hadn't slept and my throat was extremely soar and they did nothing to help. Total scam. Don't go here as you have so many other urgent care choices. They quote you one price on the phone and then charge something totally different AFTER you leave. I went in for a common cold in hopes of getting Z pack. The doctor literally looked in my ears and told me to say Ah. He was in the room for less than 10 minutes. He perscribed a Z pack and over the counter Flonase. That's it. They tried charging my insurance $430 or which I would pay $227.07. Who would ever knowingly pay such a fee for a common cold (not bronchitis, not the flu, not pneumonia... A COLD). I could have gone to my regular doctor for $90. Just needed a quick Strep check (couldn't get an appt. with my PCP): They answered our initial calls quickly with precise info; online check-in available (I chose to just drive over, 6vs1/2dozen); walk-ins available and they are pretty honest with wait times; wait list and patient in-take order posted on dedicated monitor; waiting room is spacious, airy and clean; comfy chairs for 20, tv, coffee/tea, charging station; decent clean surface protocol with tissues, sanitizer, pens, etc.,; needs better protocol for restroom and exit handle; first time intake was fairly easy (2 quick pages); I waited 40 mins to go in, better than ER wait-time for sure; vitals was very quick and efficient; PA was quick, alert, efficient yet personable and friendly; took 5 minutes to get quick Strep test results (though I have heard these are unreliable); orders and Rx were clearly communicated verbally and in print out; Rx for "just in case" antibiotics were sent straight to my pharmacy; I be I believe this is a good spot to fill the gap between PCP and ER. read more

This clinic has prompt service and attentive professional staff. Thanks to the medical assistant, a kind Hispanic gentleman, whom checked my pulse several times because of his concern for my low bpm. I told him this was normal for me and he said jokingly "are you still alive!" It drops to 38 and 39 at times and was at 40 during my visit. I assured him that there is nothing to worry about given that it's been this way for many years. It once dropped to 32! The staff listened to the issues I was having and had me out of the clinic in no time. I explained to them the procedures my PCP had taken prior to this visit, and this staff was very receptive and accommodating. I highly recommend this medical clinic when in need of medical care. read more

This was a good place at one time. Sadly, it's gone downhill and it seems they now just shake you down for insurance and payment info as soon as you walk in. And get ready for long wait times since they are normally understaffed. Anyways, we saw Dr. Meleo after our son had been hit by a soccer ball in the head. It was more of just a precautionary measure than anything else. Our son was totally cognizant of what was going on. Sadly, the doctor did not do much of a neurological battery of tests where he would have seen our son was coherent and doing okay. So long-story short, he railroaded us to taking our son to the ER to get a CAT-Scan. When we told he we could not afford it, he insisted we get a payment plan. The nurses at the hospital were looking at us like we had three heads for simply being there since are son was totally intact and coherent. Dr. Meleo would not give us a script to simply get a CAT Scan the next day, and the office would not give us our money back when they could not deliver the service we were supposed to get, i.e. a script to get a CAT Scan done without an alarmist doctor who tried to railroad us and run-up a big tab. The other ER we went to DID do a full-battery of neurologic test and determined our son did NOT need a visit to the ER and told us she doubted an ER would CAT scan him since a CT Scan has over 200X the radiation of an X-Ray. This was awful service and I would avoid this place! read more

After several calls and two walk ins I discovered that nobody had the kit needed to do a throat culture so went back to Boca Regional Urgent Care. They were right there and did what I needed and again I want to thank them and let all readers know they're a terrific group. The facility was very clean and staff was friendly and professional. The Nurse/tech took time to describe how the tests worked, which I really appreciated... What a great experience! Unfortunately, my father hurt himself over Thanksgiving, and we needed to get him medical care right away. I dreaded the thought of going to the ER, waiting for hours, and paying through the nose for mediocre medical care. On the way there we passed a sign for Boca Regional Urgent Care, so I decided to stop in and see if it might be better - it sure was! The place was beautiful and brand new, the doctor was able to see us immediately, they accepted my dad's health insurance so we only paid a $10 co-pay, and he got excellent care. It turns out that the doctors who run this place also staff the ER at a nearby hospital. I'll never go to an ER again! read more

Excellent! Took my wife there at 9:00AM this morning. Entire staff was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Dr. Goldstein exhibited a calm caring attitude towards the patient and was most knowledgeable. It's more then just the normal walk-in clinic. You get the same care as if you were at a private doctors office. The staff is caring, compassionate and very thorough. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I don't know what are their criteria to admit a patient They have a poor non-discriminatory law (or ignorance). My wife needed care and they denied her because she was a minor and the manager didn't know Florida laws. the place was really nice and i had big expectations like the service at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Unfortunately my wife is a minor and she is emancipated. The manager (Short hair and round glasses) didn't accept her in, because she wasn't with her parents. I was getting the marriage certificate as the proof of emancipation explaining them that in Florida, when a minor marries, under statute 743.01 the minor is automatically considered emancipated from her parents. I was shocked when she didn't accepted this. I left mad feeling that they were discriminating my wife. I called 2 days later to find out really what happened and her answer was "we are not lawyers, we did a research and it is not like that, you still need a emancipation proof (like the law and the marriage certificate wasn't enough...)" and because I work at Boca Raton Regional Hospital with an attitude she said ,"I'm going going to ask to put you a disciplinary action at the hospital". I just wanted to claim my wife's rights and not even the essential "sorry"of customer service came out of her mouth. She could be stubborn but that wasn't professional. I don't know there but where I work patient satisfaction is number one. I just felt they discriminated my wife because she was a minor even though she had the rights and paper work NEEDED to be attended. We ended in another urgent care where they didn't even asked for the law... they just asked for the marriage certificated and they got us in. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. So my 10 year old son was brought to this walk in with a Fractured Bone in his wrist. He sat in the waiting room for over an hour. When his mother asked why he is waiting so long. They said this is first come first serve by the receptionist. So I called, being in the medical field for 16 years and working in walk in ERs. I've never heard of this. It was true. So I called and complained. The manager Leanne said and I quote " people would be upset if they saw someone going in before them" so when did personal feelings supersede proper triage and consideration of the medical emergency of the patient over making people not upset? If you have an emergency and need and walk in. I suggest MD now. Worked there for a while and they will triage accordingly. I am sure this will be removed when read. You can ask there medical director the same question. I would never leave a 10 year old with a fracture bone sitting in a waiting room while someone with a cough is seen first. Take your business elsewhere. Also when I called to speak to supervisor I got stone walled and told no Walk Ins Triage. I called BS on that having worked at MD now. Leanne also said if a Chest Pain came in of course they would go in right away. Hey that is called triaging. read more

I don't understand how this place has gotten bad reviews.. Sadly I was here due to an on coming sinus infection and my primary care taker was on vacation so this was the next best thing. The office is so clean! That's first and for most it makes you feel like your in Boca regional hospital. I found the staff to be helpful and very informative. I saw Dr. George I believe her name was and she was beyond amazing she really listened and wanted to see what I thought would be the best treatment option based on my past problems (of course with her input) the nurses here are so sweet and so knowledgeable I love talking to them :) Of course the wait time can be long but that all depends on what time you go and how many people show up, I waited around an hour or so but honesty for the care I got I would of waited 3 hours. I was seen twice last year in October and paid my full balance last year in December,and now months later I get a letter that I was sent to a collection agency. When I called the billing company the woman stated " I don't know what this is... I'm confused , You paid and we cashed the check and they posted the amount in March " what kind of billing company are they using???? Check your insurance statements and watch them !!! read more

What a difference...a quality operation where everyone seems to care from reception to the doctors. I was on vacation with my family when my daughter got an ear ache. A friend recommended Boca Regional Urgent Care. She said they were new, but they were very good. She was right. We were greeted by Addi who was caring and informative. We waited only a few minutes before we were seen by Dr. Sullivan who listened patiently, calmed my daughter, and prescribed a course of treatment that got her feeling better by the next morning. Doctors are good and so was the nurse staff. I came here with an ankle injury that needed some X-rays and anti inflammatory. It was Friday evening so it was great. Here's the 2 stars: Made my Dr. Appointment for Monday at their recommended orthopedic. Get to the Dr. Monday and the xray wasn't sent and the cd the gave me was blank so I have to repay for everything. The lack of attention to detail is evident. When I called the receptionist said we charged you for the xray not the CD. I laughed and hung up. The urgent care on Glades and 441 is 100x's better! read more

I love that you can schedule an appointment online. Facility was exceptionally clean and front desk employees were very kind. My experience with the doctor was terrible. I was told that she couldn't "rule out" that I had a STROKE and I needed to drive myself to the ER immediately. Along with my possible stroke, she couldn't rule out bells palsy. I have NO complaints about Boca Regional Urgent Care! I made an online appointment and when I arrived the friendly and efficient front desk got the rest of my paperwork done. I only waited 10 minutes past my appointment time and was then serviced. I really liked that the doctor actually DIDN'T push unnecessary antibiotics on me suggesting I continue the stye protocol I was already doing and then if it didn't get better to try them. He also gave me an Opthamologist referral who would take me immediately if necessary. I would certainly return here if needed. So glad this is up the block from me now! read more

Worst urgent care center I've ever been to. Visited 2 days ago because I've had a severe cold, ear infection, and fevers for close to 3 weeks. They gave me zero treatment and just told me to "take Tylenol". It's two days later and my symptoms worsened further so I came back in to hopefully get an antibiotic. I've been waiting for close to an hour with several people arriving after me being taken in first and when I asked the receptionist how much longer it'd be, he told me "at least half an hour". Undoubtedly the WORST "medical care" I have ever received. Don't waste your time here. read more
