Came here because of the proximity to work. Not a good idea. They should open at 7:30 am, they didn't. They opened at 7:40. There were quite a few people in line, mostly senior citizens. They were speculating the delay in opening time since they have been here before and it seems to be a regular occurrence. Shame on Quest's office staff. They opened and the front office attendant quickly got busy. Too many clients but no technicians in sight. One arrived at 7:45 to the "I'm sorry I'm late I overslept..." tune. The other person arrived a few minutes after, front lady just made a comment about them being late regularly. By 8 am they had just serviced 5 patients including a couple of appointments. My turn came around 8:15, it was bad. The attendant, Silvia, called my last name and got my first name wrong. She called me Orlando. I showed her the sign in, doctor order, insurance card, and my ID. She still claimed I was "Orlando". She claimed people do fraud and really "had to be sure I was who I said I was". Then she said if I have complains to go ahead and send an email to corporate but good luck since they don't respond. Will not return to the location. read more

Had an appt and got here right on time. Apparently it doesn't matter if you're on time or not because someone had an appt earlier and got here late, was checked in after us but they pushed us back and had them go in first. They take your name off the tv screen so it doesn't reflect you've been waiting over the estimated time. The two women at the front desk sit here and have personal conversations about their lunch and families like they are at the park or a restaurant. Very unprofessional and rude. We've been here 25 minutes. These people need some customer service and business etiquette training. read more

This was the most aesthetic diagnostic lab I've ever been to, especially for a "Quest Lab!" It was clean, the staff gave exemplary customer service, and there was MAYBE a 10min wait b4 I was called to the back! The staff is compassionate, professional, and they handled me with great care! read more

My doctor didn't give me an appointment, so I walked in as a non appointment. It was the longest wait I've ever experienced in a clinical setting. I mean, worst than an E.R. visit. I waited for over two hours. The staff if very slow and unfriendly. I will never return to this site. read more

Went there to take my husband, in first of all the receptionist was super rude, due to the situation that is happening with covid-19 I wasn't able to go in with him I understand and I wasn't mad about that. The problem is the attitude of the receptionist you are the first to see and greet the patient l, and her treating patients that way is just disgusting if she doesn't like her job she shouldn't be there your there to make the patient feel comfortable as soon as they walk in not make them feel like trash, me as a customer service rep I will never treat my customers that way, we are there because they need of us... Came here Wednesday November 22 in the morning. When I walked in I was helped immediately by the receptionist. I didn't wait more than 10 minuets when I got called to the back. The lady in the back was quick to poke me but then that's when I got concerned. When she poke me it hurt and I felt a sharp pain down my arm all the way to my hand. I think she hit a nerve because when I stretch my arm I could feel a sharp pain going straight to my thumb. I've tried calling but theirs no way to speak with them. I'm really concerned. I am here today to have my blood drawn and the 2 woman at the front desk are very rude. When I first walked in they sat there staring at each other and giggling for about 5 minutes until I said excuse me!!!! Then one of them throws the clipboard on the counter and said sign in and have a seat. When I finally get called up to give them paperwork she starts talking over me like I'm a toddler or something. It makes me wonder if part of the job requirements for this place is to be rude to the patients???? Sorry I came here! read more

The Urgent Care doctor said I might have anemia and ordered a blood draw. They didn't check my iron level.

Waste of time. Scheduled an appointment for today three days ago. I was here 12 min before the scheduled time, I continued waiting 15 min after my appointment time, when I asked how much longer they told me that two other appointments were still ahead of me, that would have taken me 30 minutes after my appointment time. I would have been late to work so I had to leave. They are either too busy, understaffed, or both. The receptionist in the front did not make it a good experience either, she was very serious and apologetic. read more

I made an appointment for my mom who is 86 years old. She arrived at her appointment in Downey, California 15 minutes prior to her 7:45 am appointment time. The door was opened at 7:30 am by an employee who announced the first appointment then opened up for entrance 2 patients who who had no appointment. My mom reported to the employee that she had a 7:45 am appointment. She was told to stand in line until her appointment time. The hallway was full. There was no 6 foot distance markers no hand sanitizers outside, no temperatures taken. No Covid protocol seemed to be of concern for patients waiting. I would think your company would encourage everyone to make an appointment. For those who did make an appointment they would have priority. The decision was made to take an appointment patient then take 2 patients that had no appointment. While waiting in a crowded hallway no distancing Was taken into consideration. For a medical facility you failed in our opinion to need CDC guidelines. Sad to report, and even sadder that I subjected my mother to this inadequate appointment. My hopes are that your firm would care about all who pass thru your care. read more

I was in this office this morning and I really feel sorry for the phlebotomists working there. The air conditioning was NOT ON or is not working and on top of that the front desk lady is asking to everybody to line up in order to receive the service regardless if you make an appointment in advance or not which it was ridiculous from my point of view. They should organize or at least notify the people who made app to show up one hour in advance to be able to come in and be onl long waiting line. People with different physical conditions are having hard time to be standing waiting on line; some other that don't understand to keep the social distancing or getting upset because I am telling to be away from me and keep the recommended distance. I call the city authorities or people in charge of this office to be more human and give the phlebotomists the proper work environment conditions for their comfort and mental health since they have to be all covered (face and body) for their protection and ours safety for 8+ hours. read more

This place is ridiculous!! The workers literally sit in the back talking while the patients have to sit and wait for them to be done. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I've had to come to this location before and have NEVER had a good experience. Today I showed up signed in only two patients I thought "awesome this should be quick" boy was I wrong! There was no receptionist, you could hear the workers in back talking about personal chit chat. I went to the back and asked how long the wait would be, 15 mins they said. They continued to talk in the back. It's now been 20 mins and they have taken back ONE person! This please really needs to hire some professionals that take their job seriously and know how to give good customer service. read more

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE STAR RATINGS! Worse place to come to to get your blood work done first off they're late to open up during the afternoons, and they really do take forever even if you have an appointment. I had an appointment for 2:30 I showed up an hour early and I'm still waiting meanwhile people with no appointments that came after me have been seen and left. DONT COME HERE! This place has the most unprofessional, offensively impolite, ill mannered employees. I would never recommend this lab to anyone. My elderly parents, not as mobile as other seniors due to illness, waited two hours just to be ignored by the employees. My father (Spanish speaker) politely asked when they would be next since they called every person after them, and a women named Rose replied to him and said, "I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish." Nor did she try to get another employee to help my parents. Afterwards, my father tried to use the little English he knows and she replied with, "I don't understand what you're telling me. I can't help you." Then turned them away. I'm am complete disbelief of how inhuman they treated my parents. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Their staff was very professional, amazing, and very hospitable, notably Yolanda. Yolanda was my lab tech and was amazing we had a good time and were laughing about the other reviews and she turned a lab test into an encouraging talk and advice about life! I would give ZERO stars if I could. Never again would I take my daughter to this location. The front office staff was ok nothing wow But not a big deal. Now lets talk about when my 11 year old daughter was getting her blood drawn The worst experience every Not very friendly but I was still ok She tells my daughter "ok sweetie what arm do they usually use?" my daughter lifts up her right arm So she goes to her left and says this one looks better. She starts drawing her blood and has issues she cant get the vein she is moving the needle back and forth I look up at my daughter and so looks like she is about to faint I start tell her to breath she needs to breath The lady never even looked up at her never told her everything is ok nothing I told her you need to stop and try the other arm So she tries the arm that my daughter had told her to try in the first place The entire time my daughter is crying She is a type 1 diabetic and is completely used to needles but this worker was HORRIBLE no care for a child She sends us for a urine test and gives my daughter the cup I asked her "I asked her do you have the wipes?" she looks at me rolls her eyes and says "she doesn't need that" Just such a cold lady Very very rude service When we walked out my daughter started crying again and said :mom please don't bring me back here again" I have taken he to the Long Beach location and never have I had such experience Oh and while she was in the room you can hear other works in the hallway super loud talking about their personal life and laughing and talking about patience Just very unprofessional read more

This place is such a terrible lab to go to. We had enough of this place. My husband has tried to get blood drawn here 5 times and every time it doesn't happen. Today we came in at 3:05. After we registered they said the wait would be 5 minutes. 10 minutes passed and nothing. Take in account there were no patients waiting. My husband steptt out for literary 1 min.when he came back in the nurse said please wait a few more minutes. Some one else came in and she took the man in. He didn't have an appointment. Sylvia was the lady how was the receptionist and the one drawing the blood. I don't understand how this multimillion dollar company has such terrible service. They can't even hire enough people to work there office. This place needs a reality check. The need to consider the people who go there. Most People who come here are sick but the employees here have no comparison. I've noticed that animals that go see vets get better service. read more
