Mita is absolutely painless and very quick drawing blood. She is always patient, pleasant, and extremely professional. I can't praise her enough. Many healthcare workers over the years have had trouble finding a good vein for either drawing blood or inserting an iv in me. Today she found a vein and drew four vials within minutes, and left no bruises. It was so easy and I felt no pain. Thanks to her skills, I no longer dread having blood tests! The Service was Horrible. They lost my prescription and I had an appointment. and told me if I would come back with the medication I could be seen right away, but when I came back with my prescription they said I needed to check in on standby. When I asked a doctor for help they said they can't help me this time and to top it all off the care wasn't Good just subpar at best. To conclude anyone looking to get bloodwork done and labs to seriously look at another place to get it done. read more

Came to get my 13 month old sons blood drawn. The phlebotomist was excellent. We were quick to get called in and she was quick and efficient at her job. She noticed that one arm was better than another, and sure enough, she was able to poke him and he didn't even notice. I thought he would cry but he handled it perfectly. I did a walk-in there to get some bloodwork done. I like that they have some nice sign-in technology and even the tv shows your que in line. I felt like the person drawing my blood was very nice and she also taught me some things about blood too. :) Overall good experience...the only thing I wish I had known would be the approximate wait time because I did have something to do right after so it was cutting it really close! read more

The staff is horrible here they take advantage of old people they made my mother go in, would not let me escort her to help her walk. They did not help her walk. They extorted $400 from her and told her maybe the insurance company will give it back no other information. and there's no living people to ask a question or anything to you cannot get a live person on the phone I would never ever go here again!!!! and they will hear from my lawyer for charging an 80-year-old woman that has insurance and the proper documents $440 rip off rip off rip off read more

Got here at 7 and it's 10 AM now and they have taken 2 standbys (people who were not able to book appts ahead of time). I've been waiting 3 hours. They should of course accommodate those with appointments but they overbook leaving it impossible for any one to "walk in". They advertise that you can walk in but that's inaccurate. Staff is rude to standbys. If you ask a question, watch out!!! read more

I came for bloodwork and in previous experiences at other facilities have never had a RN, LPN or Dr. successful on their first or second attempt. Kim, was able to draw blood the first attempt and talked me through making me feel better. Nahed was great! I personally hate having blood drawn because I always feel the needle move in my arm which hurts. Nahed respected that I couldn't look and I was so surprised it did not hurt at all even after 15 vials! After she told me that she had used the small needle to avoid having it hurt me which made the experience less dreadful. She was very sweet and made polite conversation to pass the time. I wish the company as a whole could keep a credit card on file to avoid having to take it out every time. If they can keep my personal information and insurance information, why can a card not be saved? read more

I scheduled an afternoon appointment. The electronic sign-in worked well but it was not recognizing the Q-R code. I was called in maybe 15 seconds after completing the sign-in process. I was the only person in the waiting room at that time, which was great - no wait! Henna the tech was so nice and her blood draw technique was very good! She used a small needle and I didn't even have to ask. Going to labs in Freehold (especially the Quest in Freehold) is always a nightmare for me because the staff there are the nastiest I've ever encountered. I am a nurse so I realize how important it is for staff to be skilled as well as pleasant, which unfortunately is not always the case. It was a pleasure to experience not one problem at the East Brunswick location. Please thank Henna - she made the visit for me easy and pleasant! Can make an appointment easily online or just walk in. Walked in with 2 people in the waiting area. We were all taken in in less than 5 minutes. The tech was being trained, the supervising tech was sweet and patient. The learning tech was also very pleasant. The facility is being clean, following COVID policy. Will definitely come back to this facility instead of Jamesburgs. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars - it still would not reflect the poor experience that we've had. I honestly don't even know where to start, but I'll try: Employees are rude. They made me make an appointment to drop off my 9 year old's stool sample...she wasn't present, this was simply to drop off the sample. My mother had to wait an hour and 30 minutes to see someone - who tried to tell her we didn't have an appointment (I have an email, a confirmation # and a QR code for my appointment.) Then they tried to tell my mother that there may be a $100 COPAY - I don't have a $100 copay for ANYTHING under my insurance, including specialists and out of network physicians. To top it off, they refused the sample because no one provided adequate instructions when we were given the collection containers. No one answers the phone at the location, I had to wait 30 minutes on hold to file a formal complaint with corporate. What the heck is going on?? My next call is going to my insurance company to make them aware of the terrible and shady practices at Quest and then the BBB. We will be using Lab Corp exclusively now and will tell anyone that will listen to stay FAR away from this lab. As a nurse, I find this practice detestable and shameful. read more

Don't ever give Quest Lab your credit card to keep on file. They will charge your card before your insurance completes payments especially if you have a Medicare/ Medicaid special needs plan! Worst customer service reps ever. I'll never make that mistake again. read more

Started seeing a weight loss doctor and needed blood work done (Vitamin levels, lipids, etc.) After waiting 45 minutes on a Saturday, the woman at the front desk told me she couldn't do the fasting lipid test because she needed authorization from the doctor. First off, I have had this test performed numerous times, at this location as a matter of fact. No one ever needed a pre-auth. Secondly, this is a weight loss doctor and they keep odd hours, so there's no way you're getting anyone on the phone on a Sat. And I believe this is an insurance issue, not a doctor's issue. Woman never even took my info let alone ran my insurance. Maybe she was under the assumption I had some crappy Medicaid or Obamacare plan, which I don't. Regardless, she refused to do the test after I fasted for over 12 hours. She agreed to do the other tests. I took my business elsewhere. Went to the local Labcorp on Cranbury road. Was in and out in 20 minutes with no hassle. read more

The absolute worst. I came to drop off a sample and called and was told it was a 5 minute wait. The man at the door was so rude to every person that walked in, attacking them with questions- degrading each person 1 by 1. I did not have an appt but I watched 15 walk ins get taken before me. When I asked the man at the front he said he does not challenge the computer and I should've made an appt. I could have accepted that response had not every single person get seen before me but I waited for over an hour to drop off a sample. This is the worst quest and I highly suggest you go to another faculty who values you and your time. I sat in a waiting room with a bag of a sample and was completely ignored when I approached the man after 45 minutes of waiting. Disgusting and embarrassing. Never ever again will I go to this location. If you want to be treated terribly- go to this location. read more

I have no idea where they get these people. They are nasty. I'm following my DOCTORS ORDER!!!!! and all the tech keep saying was oh the test you have to fast for I'm like my DOCTOR!!!! Said 4 hours of not eating was ok. So now I have this un qualified person telling me what to do. Will never go there again!!!!. I think a doctor is more qualified to tell me what to do then a tech who draws blood. Trust me I will be telling people about this lab. read more

I took my son to get blood drawn to complete his physical for school. At the time my husband was switching jobs and we didn't have insurance. My pediatrician is great and worked with us and said that I can get a discount with Quest for noninsured patients, she has an account with them that allows that. I go and take him for blood work and the woman who registered us ignored the stamp from the pediatrician on the order form and charged me what would charge insurance. I asked if that's the price with the discount and she softly said yes. I said $400 is the discount...$400?! And she looked at me, put her head down and softly said yes. I needed the blood work done so I paid it. Went home called customer service and said they would check into it with my pediatrician and sure enough this chick was trying to take advantage of me. She works at he East Brunswick NJ office and she is Asian and her name starts with Mi something. I did get reimbursed but the point is she taking advantage of people!!!!! read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. My doctor suggested TSH & T4 FREE tests. But they only performed TSH test.They totally ignored T4 test. Customer Care people were rude. They said we cant help if they did not perform the test. God back to the center. I will never go back there again. read more

There were 2 ladies checking people in but they were also drawing the blood. She checked me in and we were next. Never mind it was quick, they were very good with checking my 20 month old sons arms to make sure blood was drawn quickly with no mistakes. I have heard terrible stories where they can't find the vein, etc. they were terrific. It literally took 2 minutes. read more
