My daughter went in for blood work. It was a new experience for her and was met with a rude receptionist who was unfriendly and abrupt. She just blurted out what to do. A man came in while she was checking in and was met with a smile and a friendly demeanor and a hey sweetie. As someone who works at a front desk, this is unacceptable behavior. It is hard to give blood and you don't know what people are in for or what is going on with them so RESPECT should be given to everyone-No matter what they look like or how old they are. I would not go here again or recommend this Quest location! Horrible customer service. read more

Came to this location on March 8, 2024, as a walk in at 1240. Signed into the system as a walk in and the machine told me there were two people in front of me. When it was my turn the lab technician or nurse came over to me (female, blond/silver hair, skinny, glasses, probably in late 50's) and says "what are you here for ". I tell her I just got out of my doctors appointment and he wanted some blood work and I hand her the test sheets. She looks at it and starts to shake her head and then starts berating me that "next time I need to make an appointment" because this is "too much work ". She then storms off and then walks up to the other lab technician at the desk and starts complaining about me and what I need done and that I need to make an appointment next time because they are about to close. I confronted her about this and asked her what the issue was. I then asked her if they accept walk ins? And she tells me that I need to make an appointment because they have a lot of other appointments. I then turn around and stare at the empty lobby....i was the only one in there..and I asked her where all the other appointments are . She then yells "we text them when they are ready". I asked her again...what the issue was...because my doctor requested the labs and I'm a WALK IN. She then replies "your doctor told you to come right now??!!" And then she storms off into the back. The other technician then took care of me and she was Excellent. She apologized for her coworker and said that they do accept walk ins at location and I didnt Do anything wrong. Supposedly this is not the first time this lady had a meltdown at work....and She's mentally stable to be sticking people with needles and properly handle this type of materials? Again....i would just like to thank the other lab technician for her professionalism and courtesy she extended to me after this horrible initial encounter. If you go to this location.:..stay away from that older female blond with glasses, for both your mental and physical well being!! She should be fired ASAP and banned from ever working in the health care industry ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE!! read more

Make an appointment. I had to install yelp to make this review cause i had to wait 2 hours just to get urine test for a job. I had this lady watch over 10 people go past me. Made an appointment for 10:30am on a Saturday for monthly bloodwork (I usually go to the Massapequa location). The waiting room was small, dark, dirty/dingy and filled to the brim. I waited in the hallway and contemplated rescheduling another day at the Massapequa office based on appearances of this office alone. The phlebotomist, a middle aged unkempt woman wearing unprofessional brightly painted acrylic nails (ewww, germs) called my name and took my prescription only to tell me she would be unable to do my tests as they had to be done prior to 9am. I always make my appointments for the same time and have not once had an office refuse to do my bloodwork. I stated I always have my bloodwork done at this time but was refused the appointment. I guess it was for the best and I will only be scheduling at other offices in the future. read more

So quest followed up to my initial posting with a contact person and tel number. We called, they actually answered the phone took down all my wifes information and said they would discuss with the branch manager and call us back the next day. Over 2 weeks later and no response. Nada.. Again I will say that you should think twice about using quest for any blood work. Especially this location. Your life may depend on it. I plan on taking them to small claims court for destroyed clothing shoes and handbag. read more

I really like this location. Staff are always nice I Have had good experiences here. The only reason that I am giving this 4 stars. If Quest would hire a receptionist to take the information and answer the phones the staff would be able to take care of the patients. Being a healthcare worker myself I cannot tell you how difficult it is to maintain good infection control practices when you have to constantly take off your gloves run to answer a phone use the computer etc. Just rediculous read more

Avoid this location at all cost!! The wait time was more than 1 hour! We should have made an appointment. One of the technicians (Maria) left at around 10:30 AM and she was not handling any patients at all! One of the woman waiting openly said that she was not doing anything at all and the other technician had a good laugh and agreed with her. The lady drawing my wife's blood behaved very rudely when she couldn't find vein on one of my arms even after multiple attempts. She accused her of not drinking enough water beforehand as if it was my wife's fault for her not being finding the vein after multiple attempts. She almost "threatened" my wife to go for butterfly method. She had past painful experience with that drawing method and was scared!! Thanks God that she finally found vein on her other arm. But she still kept blaming my wife for not drinking enough water. I know my wife has deep veins and experienced technicians in other agencies (Subrise, Labcorp etc.) always found them in first or second attempt. We are never ever going back to this location!!! read more

I went just before closing on a weekday and I think due to this they were motivated to get people in and out so all people were seen quickly and efficiently. The woman was very nice and the whole process took no more than 30 minutes. I would go back here at 240 pm (close at 3) again. read more

OK, as you can tell by now, I update my reviews if I give a place a second chance. My first experience was not the greatest, but I went back in about a week later for no other reason than it is conveniently located. Within 2 minutes of walking in the door I was already being tended to, and within about 10 minutes total, I was 6 tubes of blood lighter and on my way out the door. read more

I was in this place early January of this year the woman taking my blood Passed out with the needle in my arm another woman came in and pulled the needle from my arm chased me out of the office. I should have done something about it then but is not my style maybe the woman was having a bad day. Now in July they are sending me bills one is for seven dollars another is for nine dollars They are not getting a penny out of me read more

Horrible! This company has 1 poor technician to run an entire office. If you must come here then prepare to stay a few hours.
