ZP Rad has locations throughout Long Island, you call a main number and tell them what you need done from your Dr's prescription and they will direct you to the nearest location with an appointment for your testing. Another reason I like them is that they keep a portal you can assess on the web of all your tests they have done, and usually within a few days if now hours your results are posted for your viewing. I thought the place was excellent, and it really was pretty good. As I got older (aging) I began to need more medical services. This is where you start to see the differences... On the plus side they have a lot of different types of doctors here. You also can even get an XRAY! The place looks like a clinic so they are trying to make it look modern by doing some construction. Sooo what's wrong? Most of the support staff are not happy working here. They complain about their pay, working conditions, how management couldn't give a crap etc etc. Management only cares about P & L !! When a large percentage of the back end staff are NOT happy about working their you know that you have a problem. The Doctors... As with any larger facility you have both the good and bad. For those who go here for a while, remember Dr. Russo? He couldn't take it, so he left. Several others left too. Dr. Salama ended up getting fired. Almost everyone loved him. Unfortunatly his wait times were crazy because he was the only neurologist their. He cared and didn't rush you. They are understaffed so getting an appointment is getting harder and harder. That means longer wait times. If you need to see someone out of the center and need to get a referral then things get tricky. It isn't that easy. About my current Dr. When my last Dr. left I had relationships with 2 of the nurses. I asked them several questions and asked who I should see. When BOTH said the same person I picked her. I am pretty happy. About a year ago Restaurateur Danny Meyer was hired to provide workshops to show how to run a medical office and make it people friendly, Medicare pays more if the surveys says that the patients are happy, I guess when you walk into the office they say NEXT GUEST. I feel like I'm checking into a hotel. Recently they switched over to a central telephone center. That means EVERY call goes into 1 location and not the center that you go to. The wait times were crazy! They have addressed this issue and it's getting better. Talking to your Dr. on the phone. You have a better chance winng the lottery. They are just very over worked. So anyway the second visit 4 days later.Now, you know what she says? You have to see an endocrinologist. She's a primary care doctor I guess you can at least give me water pills she can at least give me that all right so she asked me what do you want me to give you do you believe this what do you want me to give you??? When I entered, the woman behind the desk prompted me to sit down but the waiting room waa PACKED!!!! Like totally full!!!! Being immunocompromised and Covid still being a big part of life, i told her I didnt feel comfortable and asked if I could wait in my care. The woman was a little rude about it at first but then I just gave her my cell phone number and walked out. A minute later my phone rang. It was a different woman who apologized to me and then emailed me my paperwork to do on my phone. She informed me that the technician would call my cell phone when it was my time. A little while later, like 15 minutes, karen, the technician called me. I entered through the side entrance so I didnt have to walk through the packed waiting room. The sonogram room was clean and had a nice picture on the ceiling above the exam table area. Karen was an excellent technician and talked me through everything. It was overally a good experience other than my initial impression of the waiting room and first interaction with the woman behind the test. I do recommend this location however if you are immunocompromised maybe just plan to wait in your car.

I was charged a $25 fee, but it was well worth it. This is because Google says that AI-assisted screenings could detect cancers that radiologists might have missed. My only complaint would be the wait time - I was taken in almost 40 min past my appointment time. I understand things happen and offices get busy, but it's hard when you have small children/etc. Deirdre was a pro at placing the port (needed contrast for this exam, ugh) and was Leah running the CT. Both super sweet, made me feel calm and at ease. So professional and kind. Alicia running the front also excellent - no complaints on the care here, it was top notch. If I need further imaging in the future, I'd without a doubt return to Zwanger.

I want in for a rapid COVID test…read more First the positive, the check in process was quick and the wait time was minimal. The PA who checked my bp & took the swab was pleasant & professional. After about 15 mins I hear someone outside the door asking the PA about the test results and hear her say 'negative' he repeated 'it's negative' In walks Dr. Shahid Noor who says 'your test was negative' and hands me a form saying as such. So it's all good right? Well, in addition to getting a bill by CityMD, which was expected. I got a bill from Dr. Noor for $300 !!! He literally asked the PA for the results, signed a form and handed it me. Nice payment for literally doing nothing but signing a form. Will NOT be returning for anything to either that location or any other CityMD location if I can possibly avoid it.
