Would I normally write a review for a blood lab? No, I would not. However, this was the most enjoyable bloodwork experience I've ever had. Check-in took 30 seconds. I waited maybe one minute. I was there at my appointment time. And Tamika took me into our room took my payment. She took my blood pressure, waist measurement and blood sample all within five minutes. She was super pleasant, honestly the whole experience was PLEASANT! Make an appointment and go here if you need blood work. read more

I went to Quest Diagnostics, in Marietta, for a thyroid biopsy. I had a great experience! Check-in was easy and quick. The staff was amazing and efficient! I was very nervous, but they made me feel very comfortable. The nurse, Amber, was very nice and she even put on spa music to make me feel more relaxed. Dr. Kerwin (Interventional Radiologist) was excellent too! He explained everything he was doing and talked me through the procedure. I would definitely go back to Quest. read more

When it's a choice between schlepping to my doctor's office in Atlanta or driving fifteen minutes to Quest's Marietta location, I go with Quest. I suppose one can show up without an appointment, but I reserve a slot on line. The first time there a receptionist checked me in. (Very pleasant, but she wasn't wearing a mask during the pandemic, which I found disconcerting.) Second time, it was self check-in. Easy and efficient. The phlebotomists I've dealt with are friendly and good at what they do. Results were quickly passed on to my physician and posted on my patient portal. Due to cancer I have been coming to this location for years. It was horrible years ago but my only real choice. Then it got better. But better doesn't mean good. The place looks like it was setup over night. The staff is more concerned with talking with each other than paying attention to what they are doing. I have had a lot of blood draws over the last 15 years and yesterday's was the worst. Never had one hurt that bad. The lady even said "I had to jam it in". Why? They just aren't very good at drawing blood. In future I would like to use a different company but if I can I will try a different location. Never going back here. read more

The entire process was seamless. I entered lobby and checked in using a tablet. They had hand sanitizer next to check-in Station. They required masks. Front desk lady was pleasant. My wait time to the back was about 15 minutes. Tannika greeted me and took me back to draw my blood. Everyone I passed that spoke to me was super pleasant! I have very small veins and Tannika was gentle and did an awesome job drawing my blood. My husband's employer sends us here for bloodwork every year and I always have a good experience. Have been here twice recently and it is uncrowded, quick and efficient, and the employees are very kind. If you have ever been to the other place upstairs you would understand how great this lab is. Very glad our insurance changed and we can now go to Quest. read more

Sensing a bit of racism at the front desk. I watch minorities walk in and wait while non minorities walk in way after them and get addressed first. Even if you have an appointment you're waiting after your appointment time while others are being seen. read more

We got here for an appointment that was supposed to be at 1:15 and they were closing up and told us to leave. True, we were 15 minutes late, but this office should have been open until 2. So now we have to make another appointment and come back because they didn't want to stay at work for the amount of time they should have been there, even though they were being paid to be open until 2. Complaining to their corporate office about this--absolutely not professional. Never returning to this location. read more

You wouldn't think getting your blood drawn could be pleasant, but 5 vials later, I am a happy camper. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by a pleasant person, but thrilled with the convenience of easy online check-in right at the counter. After checking in, you can easily view where you are in the queue via a screen in the room (high up, just like the "stand by" screens at the airport). The waiting room was comfortable, quiet and clean, and even better, I didn't wait too long - maybe ten minutes. As I waited, when I saw staff, they were customer focused, collegial, and kind. My phlebotomist was Destiny. She was professional, appropriately conversational, and very nice - almost made me forget about the needle and the blood I was losing. She also found a vein quickly. Note that the building is a little hard to find, as it is slightly offset from Church St. But, if you look up, you can clearly see the "790" on the building - this helps. And parking is plentiful and easy. This is now my preferred place for lab work. read more

I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings. I went yesterday for a job related request. I showed up up early, was promptly greeted, checked in and taken back all within a 5 minute span. My phlebotomist was AMAZING. I have small veins and she got it right the first time and had me out of there quickly. I took my toddler here and had an almost completely horrible experience. I saw an employee walking around without a mask at the front desk that really made me uncomfortable and I almost wanted to leave. Not to mention, they don't take temperatures as you enter. There was a sweet girl at the desk checking patients in. She had to leave to go to the back and another woman in a yellow polo shirt took her spot. This employee called my sons name (Caleb) but pronounced it wrong. So I corrected her and ask if that's who she was calling up. She didn't greet me. All she said was "That's Fine." What kind of response is that to a customer? That wasn't acceptable at all. I thought she was very rude, unapproachable, and should have no business greeting patients. Learn some manners! I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a long day, but it was 7:50 in the morning. I had my insurance card and ID already ready for her, but she still proceeded to ask me for my home address. The waiting room was full so I asked her to look at the ID that I just handed her because I was uncomfortable stating my address when there's 10 other people in the room. Now, the whole experience wasn't terrible. The phlebotomists in the back were amazing. The male phlebotomist who took my sons blood is always really friendly and tries to make great conversation when I bring my small children there. I asked him if he's the one who is really good at sticking kids for blood draws and he said he was. We always seem to get him when we visit. But he's great!!! There was another woman who helped him tend to my son during the blood draw who was also amazing. She gave my son stickers afterwards and was such a delight. So not a completely horrible visit. But I will keep this as 1 star because patients come here and there is no excuse to act that rude to vulnerable people coming to receive healthcare. Any place can have great phlebotomists, but if you have a sour employee greeting patients, I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

Why are masks required but not provided? I am unable to mask due to doctor's orders but was told I must wear a mask to have blood taken, and that I had to purchase one at the pharmacy. Quest, please provide masks for your patients if they are forced to wear them. It would be much better costumer service. The lab techs in the back were very kind. This negative review is solely concerning the masks being required but not provided (while most companies and business are providing them for costumers who do not have them). read more

I went in for a drug test and it didn't take to long. The reason I didn't have a good experience was the staff, specifically the one facilitating my drug test. Very unfriendly and when I asked a question I was answer with rudeness. I hope she not always like this and it was just a really bad day. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!! BEWARE!!!! As others have mentioned, I went online, selected the test I needed, and booked an appointment (even received a confirmation number). When I showed up, they asked where my test was? Excuse me, but that's what I came to quest for. The forced me to wait outside and call the 1800 quest #? I did, and was put on hold for 25 minutes. They notified me that while I scheduled an appointment, all patients need a dr.s referral, or they have to buy the test themselves and bring it in? WTF??? None of this was apparent when booking, it made me select the test, time, location and gave me a confirmation number. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! read more

It is what it is, you know, you don't really come here out of choice. I accepted a job offer and after filling out all the stuff for a background check was given the info to do a pre-employment drug test through Quest Diagnostics. It gave me the closest one to where I live, which is over by Medical Center and all that. I wanted to make an appointment online and the next available date (over a week after the email!) was out of the time frame given to me. So coming out here was the next closest and times were available for Tuesday. Done. Honestly if you take the time to come out here it is pretty pointless. I figured an appointment would make sense given Labor Day was the day before and maybe it'd be full of people. Not really. There were maybe four other people waiting. I was late because any directions here suck - I will get to that. And I sat there until 1:25 for my 1pm appointment so don't bother. There is an older woman working here who has no clue what she is doing. The reason it took so long is because she seemed to be unable to chronologically use the check in sheet, so the very last person to go in was before me, or the guy who came in after me. Ridiculous. Thankfully I didn't have to deal with her. Once I handed over the email and my ID, it took about 5-6 minutes before a lab person came to get me (which is hell with a full bladder). He entered me into the computer then gave me the lovely cup to do the business. It took 7 min from when I was taken back there till I walked out the door, so that was awesome as hell. Anyway, don't come after 4pm for drug tests because they won't do them for whatever reason. Also the building is tucked WAY THE HELL OFF Church St. If you're coming from 75, it's on the left, right before a Rite Aid. If you're to Rite Aid, you've gone too far. Once you get to the building though, the office is right on the left so at least that's going for it. So just so you're not late like me, it's not visible from the street nor is it marked anywhere. read more

There is no sign at the street. It's the driveway before Rite-Aid. They took me on time and I was out of there quickly. The older lady that took my blood was very good and I hardly felt a thing. I did however, get a large bruise on my arm at the injection site. I would return if I needed blood work again. read more

I had an appointment for blood work that I had to fast for. I let them know when I checked in that my blood sugar was dropping and I did need to eat, and very soon. I was made to wait over an hour!!! When they finally draw the blood he ask me to stop shaking, which is from my low blood sugar level and I could not! I now have a bruise the size of a cell phone where he took the blood! I guess having an appointment means nothing!!! Telling them you are going to pass out means nothing!!! Will tell my doctor to send me anywhere but to this place for lab work in the future!!! Employees who don't give a crap leads to extremely crappy service!!! read more

Have had to come here before tests, worst at all options. If you want to get people who are paid by the hour and are the worst at their jobs with personalities indicating tight underwear, this is your place! Have yet to actually encounter anyone with a personality much less a caring deposition and this place reflects it, actually stopped going here and paid for another just after they lost lab results and could not complete the other....glad I don't even purchase their stock!!! read more

I made the ultimate sin and did not look at this location's reviews before coming. I didn't even find it. As Lin says, there are no signs on the road and there is no street number on the building and there is no sign on the building itself. I got dizzy looking up and down this area, and even though it was only 1:30 in the afternoon, it was already rush hour in that area, and if horns wore down car's batteries, there would be dead vehicles everywhere! read more

This is my second poor review because every time I have to go get labs here (because my doctor uses their office) there is an issue. Over the past week I've been in twice to try and get labs done and both times they have not been able to find my prescription. I called my doctor who resent the Rx each time but said they had confirmation of the previous fax going through to Quest. So most likely Quest has just misplaced the Rx each time resulting in me waiting 30 min for them just to tell me they don't have my information, they can't see me, and I had to leave and come back later. Really frustrating that their organizational skills are that awful. I have to take time off work and they are so unorganized I still haven't been able to get my labs done. Plus, after waiting 30 min the lady asked me to come back while she looked for my Rx but then brought the next patient back and started doing his labs rather than addressing my issue. The workers have to do the office work and the blood draws. If they had an employee to run the office maybe this wouldn't happen. read more
