My wife was told 6 months to get a time with ob-gyn.she also went elsewhere. Telephone system is still bad. No operators to answer calls in a timely fashion.

The bill for my one-time optometrist appointment was $1,829, with my out-of-pocket charge being $760. I understand that healthcare companies need to be profitable but this bill reflects corporate greed. It is the kind of bill that deters patients from seeking the medical care they need. I have been trying to negotiate this bill for months, but Optum is unwilling to adjust the charges to a more "Usual and Customary" rate. When I last spoke with a supervisor in billing she said she would get back to me and never did. I have never not paid a bill until this one. I will never use this company again for healthcare.

I had the test done early on Tuesday morning and it is after 5 on a Friday and I still have not received the results. Also, the patient portal on its website takes you to their old portal, They don't even mention the new one. You have to call them to find out where to find your results. They were much better just a few years ago and I would not recommend using them now.
