When you turn on to Pinard Road, you'll see the dental facility first (the back of the building) but keep going on that road to the second parking lot for the medical part of the building (front and back are not connected, at least not to the public). I checked in via kiosk on the left and waited about 5 minutes for my name to be called. The blood draw is in somewhat nonprivate area, right up against the window so everyone passing by from outside can see you, and the door to the room is wide open. The facility itself is clean, the parking lot is huge, the staff are friendly, adn the wait time was minimal because I had an appointment.

I received cortisone shots in both knees and a recommendation to use knee braces for gym, sports, and activities. When I asked, the assistant working with the doctor the cost of the braces, she quoted me approximately $150 each and noted that she needed to order them--for arrival the next day. Seemed pretty reasonable. Conveniently for PVOC/CAO, the billing system was down when I went to pick up the braces, so I ELECTRONICALLY signed for them without paying attn to the cost. I was billed a couple weeks later $298.61 for each brace. I attempted to return the unused braces, but the receptionist indicated that once I walked out of the office with them, they were not returnable. I left five messages for the Olney location office manager (Ryan) to question the return policy and billing. No matter what time of day it was he was either at lunch or not in the office. It's been over 2 months, and he still hasn't returned any of my calls. The only call I did receive about the braces, was a harassing call from the billing department.

She was friendly, professional, patient and explained everything clearly. While small, the clinic was clean and offered free water bottles as a thoughtful touch for those who might have "shy bladder." If this is your first time visiting (like me), my one suggestion is allowing some extra time since the clinic is located in plaza of similar-looking office buildings. From the beginning, everyone greeted us with a smile, were kind and polite. The waiting room was relatively empty and quiet (it was the day after thanksgiving, so maybe this had something to do with it). We were called several times for different tasks (bloodwork, X-rays, ct scans). Every nurse and doctor attending my mom was gentle and kind. We were admitted to a room where again, the nurse was exceptional. The room was clean and again, the whole area was very calm and quiet. Our nurse was Nurse Cheryl. Our doctor was Dr. Eric and he was absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about him. He answered all our questions and attempted to speak Spanish to my mom as well. In the end, we left feeling satisfied and confident that we were taken care of in the best way. Thank you to the essential and professional nurses and doctors. We appreciate ALL you do!!!

There is no option to reach a live person, and it has become extremely difficult to speak with anyone or make an appointment. Frankly, the current phone system is worse than what existed 20 years ago--at least then you reached a real person or received a busy signal. This experience is unacceptable for a medical facility, especially for cardiology where timely care matters.

I have yet to find a portal that works well and provide you with any useful information. What's the point of getting a test if you can't see the results? I won't be seeing my doctor again because I'm moving out of state in two days.
