The staff is disrespectful and also making an appointment at 2:10pm and not seen until 3pm is crazy what is the point of making the appointment. The care was not there at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to this location, they need better training on how to be human beings. read more

If I could give this place lower than 1 star I would. Not only are most of the staff disrespectful, they are careless with blood draws and sample collections. My last blood draw was my last there. The person who did my blood work had caused me to bleed more than I usually do from the site which made me almost faint. Expect to wait at least an hour even when an appointment is scheduled. They fight you with referrals, I experienced a back and fourth for almost a month and a half because they kept telling me "our system doesn't have it." Please don't waste your time here. You are much safer going somewhere else. read more

I will never use them again. Make an apt have a week ago to get blood taken show up ten minutes early no room in the waiting room. Do the check in it asked if you want to be called/text or in waiting room. I checked the call since no room in the waiting room. Never got a call or text. Half hour goes by so I go in they tell me they couldn't call or text because I have a out of state number call BS then it's changes to og you must have not paid your bill. Well rude lady it's auto and works fine. Phone rings while I am bitching at her. Then she tells me she won't do the work because I don't have a work order. That's not what they said last week. So I left don't feel safe with them even checking my pulse let alone drawing blood. I left and canceled all doctor's appointments since no one can do their job. I will find another place that is actually competent in their abilities to use the systems in place instead of excuses why they can't do their job. Horrible place and unprofessional staff. read more

Had an appointment at 12:20, arrived and checked in at 11:50. Got a text saying I was almost up at 12:30, ehh ok. Saw 4 people still ahead of my name on the screen, so I waited and waited. 2 names ahead of me. Waited. Then looked up. My name was gone by 1250. I checked my appointment confirmation number which was there at 11:50, had been deleted by 1PM. I waiting another 35 minutes before I left at 1:25. If you have bad hearing or hearing aids the waiting room is loud. Everything in there just bouncing sound, walls, floors, seats, everything. Unfortunately, several people were having multiple conversations, talking louder to speak over the others. Ricocheting sound making it very loud and yet you can hardly understand a person directly in front of you. The tv is loudly repeating over and over the directions to check-in. During all of that a nurse will open the door and usually stay behind the door and say a name once, only once. If you didn't hear them you are out of luck and you appointment is deleted. There is no check-in window with a person to speak to. Can't even call the office, generally the phones are automated. If you can't catch a nurse in the split second they pop their head in the doorway than don't bother coming. Truly, thank you for wasting my day and holding my fast for bloodwork until 2PM before I could get a drink and food. Sadly, all for nothing because I still have to do all this again but I'll have to get the bloodwork at another location. read more

540 Malabar location It stink in there, it's dirty as ever, and they staff dirty they don't wear gloves. The Hispanic guy working in there is rude, disrespectful, and inserted himself in the disscussion I was having with the nurse who was taking care of me. literally had nothing to do with him, I felt extremely uncomfortable and violated, and he provoked me my entire way out the door. Shameful, I would rather go to a hobo to get my labs done then come here again. read more

if just dropping off specimen, they tell you to sign in and should be quick but might as well do an appointment for drop offs because you'll be in the waiting room and they take care of all the appointments first before they take your dropoffs. waited for almost 30 minutes! read more

Even though I made my appointment for bloodwork at the wrong office, Palm Bay. My fault, dah! I got to Quest 8 minutes late and signed in at a kiosk. I didn't even have a chance to sit and my clinic nurse called me in. She was so professional, kind and sweet. I was done in 5 minutes. read more

Made an appointment ahead of time. Arrived 15min early and checked in. Got confirmation after checking into the automated system inside the waiting area to wait in my car until I got a text (option I chose). Waited over 30min (past my scheduled appointment) and got no text so I went back in to "check-in" again (since there is no front desk to speak with anyone). After checking in again the system said I was over 10min late and my appointment changed to a walk-in. Very disappointed as I had to coordinate and find someone to watch my young children in order to schedule the appointment. The place was PACKED and not everyone wore masks although the facility states it's required. Rescheduled my appointment for the early afternoon. Checked in and the screen showed I had a wait time of 24 min. An hour went by before I was seen. Everyone in the waiting room was waiting for at least an hour from their original appointment. Several people complained to which the phlebotomist said they were understaffed and that the order and wait times on the screen were inaccurate. I had to provide a urine sample. I had to pee in a cup to which I asked if there was a lid to enclose the sample afterwards. Which there was none provided. After leaving the restroom, I had to walk the open sample back to the room where my blood was being drawn. I found that somewhat odd and unsanitary. It made me wonder how many other patients washed their hands, picked up their own sample and then opened the door to exit the restroom and also the facility after having carried their own uncovered sample back to the room. Which by the way, the only place we could even wash our hands was in the restroom and there was no hand sanitizer offered once handing over the sample. The office is poorly run and extremely disorganized. There needs to be a front desk person or at least someone to help run the place. This location by far has been the worst experienced I've had getting lab work drawn in the last three years. I could never recommend this location to have lab work drawn. Based on my experience and the many people there, you'll have a long wait time regardless if you book an appointment ahead of time. If they are understaffed and/or overbooked, then I'd suggest to the office if they can't keep up with the demand, then to stop booking so many appointments so close together. read more

I was scared to go there after seeing all the horrible reviews, but they were just fine. No issues on waiting because they'll let you wait in your car and text you to come in when they're ready for you. The staff were friendly, I met 3 staffs but all were helpful. Blood drawn was done quickly, no crazy "poke my nerves!" experience. I had an appointment and checked in through a link they sent previous to my appointment. During this spring of 2020 and COVID still very much a threat I am still very hesitant to enter any type of medical facility. Quest lab allowed my son and I to wait in our vehicle and receive a text when it was our turn to enter. I did have to go inside the waiting area to check in but I left my teen son in the car while I did this since I knew we had an appointment. I didn't like that we had scheduled this appointment at the FIRST time supposedly set aside for high risk patients. (My son has no immune system) and it took us two days to get in when the doctor had wanted the labs as soon as possible. I was shocked when I walked in with an appointment that they still allowed walk ins and the waiting room was packed! I was not happy to see this especially since this was supposed to be the time set aside for more vulnerable patients. When they texted for us to come in we had to walk through the very small waiting area where social distancing was not being observed because it was packed and we were led through a locked door and into a small draw area. I asked them to sanitize the seat before my son sat in it and after waiting ten minutes I put on medical gloves and did it myself. We then were made to wait like 20 more minutes because some patient who came in without an appointment had been waiting too long according to the staff??!! Well isn't THAT why you make an appointment?? The staff was obviously very busy and overwhelmed so they were not very courteous and seemed rather put off when we were moved to yet another room that several patients had just been in and I asked them to disinfect it. Sadly they sprayed it down but because they were in such a hurry they wiped it away without letting it dry which doesn't kill many viruses like COVID. They need a larger facility because even in the back with the patients social distancing was not being maintained at all since the place is far too small! They also ONLY draw blood so all my sons labs could not be completed and if they would have answered the phone in the days leading up to the appointment I could have know this and chosen to go elsewhere. I have not been happy with this facility in the past and now that there is a pandemic happening I will NOT be returning. I realize front line workers like this are overworked and exhausted but the snooty attitude when asking for reasonable accommodations and information as well as having booked a time for vulnerable people and be met with a crowd was hugely disappointing and frustrating. I think if you don't enjoy your job then find another one. The workers at this facility have the bedside manner of a toad and should consider another line of work that doesn't involve working with the public or patients. Just my opinion. read more

Girls drawing blood I believe are not trained or didn't learn. One girl destroyed my vain in my arm while another continue to go threw the vain I keep going back because I've been going there for over 15 years but this is the worst training and damage to my gains that I now think it time to travel or fine I hope better people that can draw blood. These girls stick the needle in the arm then try to fine the vain to draw blood. I hope I can fine better in palm bay but maybe not. They even wanted to use my vain in my hand because they are so bad, I never had to much trouble in my life. Good luck to the rest of you and your gains. read more

I went online at 6:30 this morning to schedule an appt and found an opening for 8:15. Having an account already made providing my insurance information really easy. When I entered the bldg just before 8:15, I entered the code I'd been given online and sat down with others who were waiting. Within 2 or 3 minutes, I was called in by the technician ahead of the others who apparently didn't have appts. Very streamlined procedure, upgraded since last year. read more

Very happy with this Quest Diagnostics. I did go to the one in Melbourne which always seems to be backed up even if you have an appointment. I have been to this Quest on Malabar Road now three times and am very happy. I am always seen within five minutes of my appointment time and the phlebotomist is always able to get my blood the FIRST TIME which my doctors office CANNOT do. read more
