When I walked up to the desk I asked if they take health first insurance. I was told "I think so." After getting copies of my drivers license no one ever asked for my insurance card. Strange... So I offered a copy of my insurance card and it was grudgingly taken. Then the office manager came out and said no, no, no, we don't take health first insurance because they refuse to pay us. They are an HMO and won't pay. You have to pay cash. It is $50. So I paid $50 on my American Express, which would be the same price as the walk in clinic at health first. But the line there was over 2 hours. At this point I was handed a copy of a non-disparagement form. I've never seen one of these nor would I ever sign it. It basically holds me liable for any negative comment I would ever make about the practice even if it were a justified comment. That's ridiculous. It's like a gag order for doing nothing wrong. Immediately my antenna went up. I asked the lady at the desk if they had a lot of people saying bad things about them and she replied I've never seen one. I told her that wasn't my question. And she said I don't know. But the doctor will not see you unless you sign it. At which point I had her refund my credit card and left. I will never go back again. Don't waste your time here.

That alone would've been enough to leave a poor review. But what's happened since is what's truly alarming. Despite never being a patient myself, I was indirectly contacted through my workplace regarding personal details that could only have come from private records. It's disturbing to think a medical office would reach beyond its walls like that -- whether out of spite or carelessness, it's completely unacceptable. No patient (or anyone connected to one) should ever have to worry that their private information might be weaponized over a review. I don't trust this clinic with a name, let alone health information.

Was very happy with Dr. Karle (Therapy) she is a very good clinician.

SERIOUS CONCERNS REGARDING "PATIENT PRIVACY" AND "BILLING" AT A PSYCHIATRIC FACILITY…read more My experience with this facility raised 2 extremely serious concerns that I believe perspective patients and their families should know about: 1) I became aware of unauthorized recording equipment being used in patient rooms during interactions involving clinical staff including a therapist and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. UNAUTHORIZED RECORDING IS ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL. I felt re-traumatized disillusioned and betrayed. 2) after I had terminated services with a particular therapist approximately 3 months earlier- and had also communicated my termination to the billing manager- I was later charged an additional $75 NO SHOW FEE. I notified my Bank immediately and they deemed it "Fraud." I dispute this charge and find it completely unacceptable to Bill a patient for a No-Show after Services had already been terminated and the facility had been notified. These are not minor customer- service issues. Patient Privacy( HIPAA law) and accurate transparent billing should be fundamental standards in Mental Health care.

From the beginning, care was very unprofessional. The nurse(?) asked if he needed stitches (as if we would know) and made my husband and I hold the water bowl and our screaming toddler's hand in a bowl to soak while she left the room. The water dripped all out and we couldn't even get his wound efficiently cleaned. When she was explaining the process of stitches to us, she looked at my husband and said "you look strong, you'll have to really use your force and hold him down" and told me because I'm pregnant I wouldn't be able to help at all. The whole process sounded horrifying and was handled very unprofessionally. After having X-rays and being there an hour, the doctor comes in and says "so, do we have a cut?"..... after we've been there for an hour being assessed because of a cut that won't stop bleeding... YES we have a cut? Anyways, they referred us to Nemours hospital in Orlando and ultimately we wasted our time coming here first. They took 3 xray photos, and only provided us with 1 so we had to redo X-rays as the hospital. So thankful we did not let them perform the stitches, it would have been terrible! Do not take your little one here.

We got him in at this facility, it was 8pm. They didn't even inspect the bite, instead they just confirmed it was a tick bite and prescribed him antibiotics. Several days later, he had to dig around the wound himself and found the tick head was still embedded in his leg. We will stick with Atlantis, they are much better staffed and take care of their patients.

I visited this clinic for the first time today. The waiting room had ample room for many patients…read more It was clean and welcoming. The two lovely ladies at the front desk were calm, collected, welcoming, and professional. The wait was not too bad. They were able to get everyone in and out within an hour and a half. There was roughly 7 or 8 people who had come in and gone since my visit. I required an EKG and chest X-ray. The young lady who first visited me was professional and reassured me along the whole process. Despite having to undress, she made me feel comfortable, which to me is a big deal! The doctor was wonderful! I wish I had caught her name. She was very detailed in her check up. She was attentive and gentle, she asked many questions, even about preexisting injury's or health concerns to ensure all the information was accurate. If you have an injury, I highly recommend coming here ! 10/10
